My daughter spent a year and a half here and I feel we made the best with what they had to offer. Unfortunately, she was recently asked to not return within 2 months of her LP or "high school" graduation, with no notice, because she challenged the owners and the failings of their educational program. She has been increasingly worried about the progress of the other learners and that the guides were not given the resources or authority to even provide a safe environment (kids throwing scissors!) much less a stable platform for education. Guides at this location do not understand what boundaries or limits they are allowed to set for the learners, as the partner owners of the school have vastly different views on how the school should be run. Future candidates beware. The sales pitch is solid, and I still believe in the Acton philosophy- but this location is dysfunctional.

The teachers care, and the school's administration is strong. I highly recommend this school for its dedication to the students and bilingualism. It's such a joy to hear my daughter speak in a foreign language. She's receiving an elite education at a public school. Don't look at test scores alone. They don't reflect what is happening at Caldwell. The children are learning their primary subjects, but also Spanish/English at a critical point for language acquisition. Good for McKinney ISD for offering this amazing, innovative program.

The campus is beautiful and adheres to Montessori above and beyond the 4 other Montessori schools in the area I toured, interviewed, and considered. The classrooms are very spacious and everything is bright and shiny and new. First day of school is Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Prosper is growing like crazy! It was wonderful how they honored the namesake of the school. There was a slide show before the formal ceremony that showed pictures of her during her lifetime. Some of her descendants were in attendance and assisted in cutting the ribbon. A display case pays tribute to her as well. The Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent and School Board President were all well spoken and everyone was very proud of their new school. Go Bryant Elementary Trailblazers!!
