Super patient with my chatterbox preschooler and my shy toddler, shout out to DA junior. Loved their technology and modern facility that is so inviting to children and helps their procedures go smoothly. Dr. Kim was very thorough exam and answered all my questions. Overall nice office and staffs. But a little bit too loud and chaotic with the constant crying and screaming for me. They need a sound proof glass room for kids that have anxiety like previous ones I've been to. Price for laughing gas compared to other dentists are a little high $165 vs. $35 at other places. read more

Update on my last review: I would have changed my previous review if this business would have owned the issue and took responsibility for fixing their error. It has been over a month and if I do not call them nothing happens. They have already received their payment from my insurance 2 weeks ago (after I called 2 times to get an update from their billing department). I called again to get my refund and it has been over 10 days that they have submitted the refund but I have not received it. Our family absolutely loves Children's Happy Teeth in Placentia! We found this dentist a little over a year ago and have been so happy with the care. The office is adorable and welcoming for kids. Screens in the exams rooms make it easy to distract during the process. My daughter unfortunately needed cavities filled earlier in the year, they got her in very quick filled them. She was very antsy at the 2nd appointment so Dr Kim recommended we come back every 3 months for a checkup. When we did come back they noticed one of the fillings needed repair, I was able to get scheduled to have it fixed in only 4 days! During one of the cavity fillings my 4 year old said "the dentist is so fun!". Lisa was amazing with her during the procedure and even made her giggle. I highly recommend this office to anyone read more

I am beyond frustrated with this office. Every single visit, I wait at least 40-50 minutes past our appointment time, and it's always the same excuse "we're backed up." No apology, no consideration - just a dismissive attitude from the front desk staff who clearly don't care. Today was the last straw. I politely voiced my frustration, and the receptionist couldn't have been more rude. This happens every time, and I'm done wasting my time at an office that overbooks, under-communicates, and has unprofessional staff. We'll be switching to a new pediatric dentist, somewhere that actually respects people's time and knows how to treat families better. Also the manager really needs to train the front desk staff on basic professionalism and how to speak to patients with respect. read more

It is located in a large shopping plaza with lots of parking in the front. Dr Kim is awesome! I don't know if they teach you how to work with children in dental school, but if they did she must have gotten and A+. We've been to three pediatric dental practices, and this is by far the best. The front desk, assistants, dentists, everything was awesome. They even have a shelf full of toys as a reward for their patients. I highly recommend this place. It's also one of the only practices in the area that accept Delta Dental PPO, which I find rather odd. read more

I love this dentist for both of my kids. I just took my youngest who is about to be 2 and obviously it was a little difficult but they have tvs in the room to distract kids and great toys for them so it help the process exponentially! My oldest love this place too and they have crayons for the kids in the waiting room and tvs for them to watch also. I take both my kids at the same time and helps me as a mama of 2 so I don't have to do multiple visits. In addition the staff and doctor has wonderful customer service and seem to really care about the kids and their care. Would recommend to anyone to take ur kids. 10/10 read more

It was a great experience and the office is so fun and the Dr and staff are very friendly and welcoming! We took two of them back a week later for some fillings and a root canal and had an even better experience than our first visit!
