I had to pay the additional restricted delivery fee because I did not want the office manager, Dorrie, to intercept the mail and not give it to the doctors. This certified mail was signed for by an individual on 8/10/26. I am hoping that USPS followed through with a restricted delivery and that it was directly handed to the dentist, and not the office manager. I am waiting for the return receipt so I have proof of who signed for it. In the letter to the doctors, I explained what has been going on for the last 16 months, and I asked for a refund. I also let them know that I had filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am giving this Office two weeks to refund our money. Otherwise, I will be filing an insurance fraud claim with Humana Dental. If you have been a victim of insurance billing fraud like our family has, I would encourage you to file a complaint with the BBB and to also file a formal complaint with your dental insurance company. This unethical behavior must stop.
