Camp Nabby

Camp Nabby

Camp Nabby is an amazing family run camp experience. My 3 kids made new friends and memories that…read morewill last a lifetime. They enjoyed swimming, swim lessons, ropes course, zipline, tennis lessons, sports, nature, animals, gymnastics, arts and crafts and archery. They played tons of dodge ball and gaga ball and came home nice and tired! All 3 of my kids tried new activities and really went out of there comfort zone which was great for their confidence. I loved looking at the daily pictures of their camp adventures online. The staff are very special people, especially the administration. I felt completely safe sending them to camp during the pandemic last summer and we will be back again this summer.

Our family had attended Camp Nabby for years, and in the end, it was not worth it.. The staff…read morethere, handled our experiences poorly. Things that we're not good: * cold pools * terrible staff * only care about the money * staff don't care about the drama, bullying, and/or gossip that happens * terrible activities for Sr. Camp * Counsleor's can be mean, and careless. * We (us kids) were forced to participate in things we didn't want to do. * The Owners (Rita, Joe) favored families that worked for them, and didn't care how mean there kids could be. In fact when my sibling(s) were bullied by those kids, they (Joe, Rita) brushed it off, like my sibling(s) experience was a piece of dust, they can just flick off a table. The only good thing: Ranger Rick, his animals, and his nature camp. - Anonymous

Pied Piper Preschool

My daughter started Pied Piper when she was 2 through the summer camp. She was extremely shy and…read morenervous around anyone she didn't know and we were on the fence about putting her into any program. We approached Pied Piper with our concerns about her social development and from the very start we felt completely comfortable. My daughter had a rough start, as I'm sure many kids do. There was a lot of crying, but Kathy and Max communicated so well with us, helping us make a plan for drop off and keeping us informed of how her days were going, what they were doing to help her adjust and celebrating every little win! I was so grateful for the never ending patience and understanding as they let her adjust at her own pace. Before long my daughter was looking forward to "school" (camp) and we quickly signed her up for the 3s program through the school year. She had an amazing year, really finding her place at Pied Piper. We watched, really in awe, as she became so confident and outgoing. She has made so much progress both academically and socially. Pied Piper strikes a perfect balance between play and academics, giving kids a taste of structured work that will prepare them for kindergarten (activity times/music/crafts/worksheets) while still capturing the fun of childhood with plenty of playtime, outdoor time, holiday celebrations and fun. I honestly don't know how they come up with all the things they do, but my daughter is always coming home excited about something! The communication is amazing. Kathy and Max are always available to talk and regular emails keep us always in the loop. We can't imagine sending out kids anywhere else!
