We approached Pied Piper with our concerns about her social development and from the very start we felt completely comfortable. My daughter had a rough start, as I'm sure many kids do. There was a lot of crying, but Kathy and Max communicated so well with us, helping us make a plan for drop off and keeping us informed of how her days were going, what they were doing to help her adjust and celebrating every little win! I was so grateful for the never ending patience and understanding as they let her adjust at her own pace. Before long my daughter was looking forward to "school" (camp) and we quickly signed her up for the 3s program through the school year. She had an amazing year, really finding her place at Pied Piper. We watched, really in awe, as she became so confident and outgoing. She has made so much progress both academically and socially. Pied Piper strikes a perfect balance between play and academics, giving kids a taste of structured work that will prepare them for kindergarten (activity times/music/crafts/worksheets) while still capturing the fun of childhood with plenty of playtime, outdoor time, holiday celebrations and fun. I honestly don't know how they come up with all the things they do, but my daughter is always coming home excited about something! The communication is amazing. Kathy and Max are always available to talk and regular emails keep us always in the loop. We can't imagine sending out kids anywhere else!

I said well if you can't give me a plan the next time it happens I will have to call the police. the Director then hung up on me and the late in the next day (Saturda) she sent an email telling me that my kids were kicked out of the camp and not allowed to go on the sleep away portion week that they were already packed for and excited to go on that Monday. The owners of the camp also refused to call me or email The situatio. Summer trails let the bully win and my kids were victimized by the bully the Director of Summer Trails ! the Director is the most evil human being I have come across in my life! During the week, campers will work with a choreographer to perfect two dance routines -- one to a musical theatre show and another to a pop song. Between dance classes, campers will rotate into improv and arts and crafts classes. Each week culminates in a performance of the two dances in front of a very packed crowd of thrilled parents and relatives. His counselor was Matthew and my son came home talking about him each day. He loved the bead program and the counselors are all so engaged and committed to ensuring the campers adjust well. I was so impressed with every administrator I came in contact with as well. He wasn't in to swimming so they gave him other options during that time whereas another camp made him sit in the grass for 45 minutes and watch the other kids swim. A true CAMP experience!!!

They went on to say my 2.5 year old son would first have to enroll (so money would need to be exchanged and contracts signed) and then (and only then) would he (and only he) be allowed into their business. I was informed that I would not under any circumstances be allowed through their doors: "We would show him around but you can't go in with him." This is not recommended behavior by any child care policy setting body in the US. It's sickening to think that this business actually thinks this is an acceptable way to introduce toddlers to day care. It's actually alarming and disgusting.

They keep me up to date on all his developments, and I can tell how much they care about him. The curriculum for all kids is great and is teaching them at a very young age about art, music, language, science/math, etc. My sons language and comprehension has skyrocketed because of these folks and I couldn't be happier. Keri, the director, is wonderful and very responsive. Excited to be a part of the TLE family for many years to come.
