I was hospitalized at this facility for six days and find that this hospital was "head and…read moreshoulders" better than any other hospital in the Portland, Oregon area. Yes, fellow Yelpers, this hospital is that good! Every one there showed a genuine concern for me and my health. Actually, I felt so much better when I left this hospital from when I was admitted, that it is almost unbelievable! You see I am going on 74 years old. Now you might be wondering why I didn't give this wonderful hospital, a complete 5 star review....well, here is the reason....While I was being hospitalized there on my 5th day, around 9 in the morning, I was peacefully sleeping in my bed, when the door was opened, that startled me and awoke me and I see some guy standing next to my bed. I'm still groggy and he tells me his name was Chuck or Chuckie. He was enraged and started to yell at me for allegedly making a sexual comment to a nurse. What?? I never said anything sexual to a nurse or anyone else at that hospital. Why would I? I kept asking Chuckie what I was supposed to have said! He was very rude and would not respond to my question, even though I asked him the same question a couple of times. Well, anyway I knew that I was going to be discharged the next day, so I let him rant and rave on, so that he would finish and go away. On his way out of my room, he announced that my hospital services would be delayed, and he was right. Before being yelled at by Chuckie, if I used my call button, someone came to my room within 3 or 4 minutes, but after the Chuckie incident, the response time was closer to one hour. On my last day at this hospital, a couple of nurses that dealt with me, earlier in my stay, came in my room to do nursing things and after getting to know me, they said that this alleged sexual comment was probably a statement that a nurse probably misunderstood and Chuckie should have at least talked to me and not just yelled at me and been ugly to me as a patient in his hospital. I hope that Providence corporate looks in this disrespectful and insulting demeanor of their employee, named Chuckie and keep this guy 100% away from the hospital's patients. You go to a hospital to get better and not be aggressively verbally abused from ANY hospital employee.

7 hours and counting. It absolutely doesn't have to be like this . Poorly ran hospital , ER waiting…read moreroom not full , but people aren't being seen and to make matters worse, you can hear staff laughing and joking around . I hope karma takes care of this unacceptable treatment of patients. Absolutely ridiculous, probably 1 doctor on duty ?

He has immensely enjoyed watching my children grow up and over the years has developed an extensive perspective of our medical history. Last but not least, Dr. Farley is a family member of our West Linn community and has become a friend who cares about us as people and always treats us with respect and patience, regardless of the medical situation. Mary Edwards, Office Manager has worked with Dr. Farley since the beginning of his practice in 1988 and has also been a tremendous support over the years, both professionally and personally to my family.
