They truly feel like part of the family, helping to raise our daughter in a loving environment; and they operate a reliable business. For example, Kids Village always prepares for coverage during their personal time off; whereas a typical home daycare provider will take vacation time off, and you will need to adjust accordingly. On the flip side, they offer off hours child care with someone that your child is already familiar with. This is extremely important to us, as we don't have any family nearby for nights/weekend babysitting. The size is just right too; not too big where our daughter's only exposed to her own age range, and not too small where she doesn't have plenty of role models (and opportunity to be a role model). We have been so pleased with the clean, loving, fun, nurturing, educational environment that they've created. They truly are helping us raise our daughter, the way we could've only wished for.

It takes a special person to do what these ladies do and they do it very well. My son loves them, as do I, we feel like we are part of a family. As a first time mom, it was tough trusting the care for my son to another, but at our first meeting it felt warm and inviting like I've known them forever and had no doubts that this was the place for us. My son just turned 19 months old and I've been amazed at how fast he's learning. They are great teachers, role models and all around great people. Thank you for taking such great care of my son and teaching him everyday. We love you all very much.

Who would have thought that the perfect fit would be in our own town, Rocky Hill. Our daughter has thrived in her time with Kindercare. She comes home full of excitement with stories of her classmates and teachers and all the fun things she did/learned that day. The staff is so warm and hospitable. I trust them with my daughter and all her classmates. If you are looking, or have a second of a doubt on where being your child for care...I am behind Kindercare Rocky Hill 100%! We recently had our second child, and the staff has been so kind and flexible with us. They communicate with us daily on activities of the day and any relative information we would need as parents. I breathe an extra warm breath of air after dropping off my daughter at Kindercare Rocky Hill. I know in my full heart that she is in the best care with them. Thank you Kindercare Rocky Hill! I feel confident dropping him off, knowing that he is well taken care of, and that he is having fun! The director, Jessenia is so kind and greets everyone by name when they come in. All of the teachers, even the ones that my son doesn't interact with daily, know his name and greet him when they see him. He has been in three different classrooms as he's gotten older, and each teacher has treated him with so much love and care. I have seen his confidence and abilities grow, and he's always excited to get in the car to go to "school". I also love the app, which his teachers update regularly so I can see pictures and videos of his day. My family is so grateful to have such a supportive facility for my child.

The school is well run, with clear guidelines and expectations for everyone, families and staff alike. Here are some selling points for me and they may be for you, too: * diversity (racial and economic) * secure buildings * plenty of outdoor time * predictable schedule for kids * quality staff oversight * frequent communication from administration (in person and via mobile app) * art, literacy woven into social and physical activities * utilize Trinity College students for extra support in classrooms (students always have plenty of attention) * kind teachers, who really care I would highly recommend TC4 to any parent looking for childcare. Just take a tour and I'm sure you'll be sold.

West End

The definition of child care for almost all parents is similar but the bar for the minimum…read moreexpectation is set so high that any daycare being close to that would probably be one of the best. And when I reflect back on the last 12 months of our association with EPC, I feel that they have done all that I had expected and on a few instance even more! We had to move our 6 month old daughter from another daycare to EPC and at this point I don't want to discuss 'Why' - every parent reading this would probably know the answer. But we had a belief when we met the teachers at EPC that my daughter would be in good hands and would enjoy her time and the learning that she would get here. And I was right! The true review of EPC is in the smile that my daughter has on her face when she meets her teachers and her friends every morning. The pics and the daily reports of my daughter adds in a lot of value to the transparency that EPC maintains. My daughter loves the food, the activities that they do, the games that they play. Sickness is a part of every daycare, not because of the place but probably because of the negligence of a few parents - and that will always be there. But the fact that EPC maintains so much transparency even in that regard is very helpful- you would immediately get a message if someone in your child's class had a major illness that could spread and the proactive measures that they take to clean up and sanitize the place - both to me are equally important! I take pride in recommending EPC West Hartford to all my friends because I know that even if it is their first and only experience, they would still love it - you don't need to experience 'bad' when you have the choice of the 'best'!!

Overheard staff complaining about short lunch breaks at hours that made no sense to avoid staffing shortage, overheard a teacher tell a child to stop crying, that he was faking it. I hate to knock a place that someone might like. If we had no other option in the world and literally no one could take care of our kids, fine, we'd go, temporarily. However, we ended up at a different daycare and we are much more at peace with that decision. Unhappy teachers made this place feel like a holding pen for toddlers instead of a place of early childhood education.
