I would absolutely not recommend this pediatric facility or staff to you or your children. They will waste your time. They do not keep their schedule. The MAs have no idea what they're doing or where they're bringing their patients the last visit I was there it felt like it was first day. The manager is an absolute horror show. She screamed at me on my way out for standing up for myself and my children and our time. I had dropped off paperwork for an IEP to the Social Worker Crystal. Horrible!! No care for children only want to get $$$ TLDR: took son for hurt finger and got yelled at because "this isn't a walk-in" and if you don't come to every single well visit they don't want to see you. Then we were denied care for our newborn after they had scheduled an appointment for our baby because we had been "dismissed from the practice for being a liability" a week before they confirmed our appointment. These people do not care about children. We took our very healthy 17month old son in for a pinched finger and the nurse Caitlin had a lousy attitude. She was more interested in yelling at us for not coming to well visits we had never scheduled than dealing with his boo boo and caring for him. When it was done, she didn't give him a bandage or ask if we had any questions. She said, "this is not a walk-in". Obviously, since he's a toddler we went to our pediatrician rather than a walk-in but they don't seem to want to see your child if he is sick or hurt. They only do "well visits". We were about to have our second baby and tried to schedule an appointment for both of them with Dr. Fisher since Caitlin was a really uncaring and ambivalent provider. We tried to call twice to set up the appointment but the nurse manager was away on vacation and they said she would call us when she got back. A month later we had our second baby and scheduled her first appointment, and our son's 18month appointment from the hospital on Friday. The woman on the phone confirmed we were scheduled for an appointment on Monday afternoon. We called Monday morning just to confirm we were all set for later and the nurse manager said we could not come because we were dismissed from the practice over a week ago for "being a liability". The day we were supposed to bring in our newborn was the first we had heard of it. When we asked when this happened and why they didn't call, Jennifer the nurse manager said she called and left voicemails but it turns out they were calling an old phone number on file, not our updated one. She said she had a letter but didn't send it because she could not talk to anyone on the phone. So they confirmed our appointment a week after we were "dismissed" then turned our newborn away from medical care the day of. These people are evil and do not care about your child, just their bottom line. Bill insurance, get their co-pay and see $$. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! read more

Started bringing my son after his original pediatrician retired during Covid-19. Always greeted with a smile and the front staff asking how things are, and the nurses and doctors are GREAT with my son, usually just the "look how big and strong you're getting!" But what kid doesn't love that! We do usually have to ask for a sticker but the nurses and front staff are always more than happy to help plus always help with questions! Couldn't find my original insurance card and they actually managed to print out a copy with all the insurance info on it too! read more

Called today to find out my sons last appointment date and to schedule a new one. I was speaking to Nicole and after she told me the last physical date I said "ok great" and then was hung up on immediately after I said that. I couldn't even get another word in. I called back and spoke with Alyiah who I asked why I was hung up on. She said I dont know and then hung up on me AGAIN! I called back AGAIN and spoke with Nicole... she said "well you stopped talking and that means the conversation is over". Ok so you hang up?!? The staff is here is so rude and incompetent its not even funny. Its unfortunate because Dr. Fisher is a great doctor who really takes the time in her appointments. The more people I speak to about this office has the same horrible experience with her staff. The office manager should be ashamed for allowing staff to speak to patients like this. But I guess when you pay peanuts you get a circus. We will be transferring providers. Nicole and Alyiah get it together. Do better. Be better. Whatever personal issues you have should be left at the door and your main concern should be your patients. Goodluck finding another job one day with your terrible disgusting attitudes. read more

I'll start with the good parts. The office is immaculate and clean and the nurse Sara who calls back for sick calls is absolutely phenomenal and helped me through so many tough first time mom situations. Unfortunately the front desk staff are rude hasty and cold. I never got a smile and they always seemed annoyed when I needed something faxed. We have seen both drs in the office. Both of them speak really loud and it would cause my son to cry every single time we went in starting in infancy. They never took the time to engage him softly or show him tools etc. it was just a quick rushed apt. We never had a successful apt without tears the entire time. Now we see a different dr and it is a completely different experience! I often felt that I was not really being heard or that I was just being a overbearing mother because I was spoken over or the response didn't really align to my question. I actually recall one visit the dr looked at me when I voiced a concern and said "please tell me your not here for an apt for that" I was really upset with that comment (and no I was there for a different reason b it regardless...) Also as a side note One of the drs never washed her hands or sanitized before seeing my son even as an infant during flu season. One time she even stuck her finger in his mouth to check for teeth without gloves. Yuck. Drs with signs all over the place about hand washing should do better. read more

I've taken my son here twice. Today was the third time. I had a question about insurance and the front desk twerp rolled her eyes and sighed. She was unable to answer my question apparently. So I asked again because the issue she was having with insurance didn't make sense to me and she was annoyed and rude again. Not something I handle very well so I gave her a peice of my mind. Had another woman come out. She​ was smarter so she was able to answer my question. At this point I was so annoyed by​ the horrible customer service, I walked out. I won't be returning, I'd rather go to a place where the employees have better customer service skills. I don't recommend this place to anyone.. read more

We have been coming here for almost 3 years and have always been pretty happy with the practice. We have had to call after hours, including in the middle of the night, and always receive a follow up call within minutes. At office visits, there is hardly any wait time. We never feel rushed when the doctor comes in. Dr. Fisher is our primary, but we've had to deal with Dr. Simmons on many occasions and they are both wonderful doctors. At one visit for my infant, my toddler had to use the bathroom right as Dr. Fisher came in the room. I asked if she minded if I left the baby with her while I took my daughter to the bathroom, when I came back she had my son smiling and laughing as she was playing with him! Anyway, we are happy with this practice and highly recommend! read more

I wish I could write something amazing about this practice but sadly, I'm unable to. I found this practice online when I first moved to Rhode Island and I chose it based on the location (it was near where I worked and where my daughter went to school at the time). Unfortunately I have never been too pleased with this place since day one three years ago. Our first doctor seemed like she didn't really care to be there. She seemed to have wanted to spend more time talking to me about things that were irrelevant to my daughter's care and would ramble. It was odd- she couldn't quite take a hint that I didn't want to talk endlessly. I didn't feel like she was a quality doctor, so instead of switching practices, I looked to another doctor within the practice. The doctor I switched to seemed a bit more spunky and engaged. Sadly, this one is not much better. She always seems so incredibly rushed and I always feel like I'm not fully being listened to but interrupted and rushed out the door. There's no explanation of diagnoses or new medications my daughter has to take. Additionally, there are sensitive topics that I try to quietly talk about with her so my daughter isn't embarrassed and she doesn't seem to get my constant cues of "hey, let's speak quietly on this topic". Instead she just continues to stare at her computer with no regard that I don't want to say my daughter's sensitive symptoms out loud for her to develop a complex of (she's a 7 year old with anxiety). There's no getting to know my child and her medical concerns. I have to constantly remind the doctor of her symptoms and there's no thorough following up - just a need to close the case. My daughter recently has had major symptoms for a certain diagnosis and despite some blood work coming back negative, she preferred to close the books vs giving me any referral (sadly this condition oftentimes has negative blood work but other tests can show a lot more). I've had to follow up three times to get a referral that I still haven't received. Meanwhile, after speaking to another doctor on the issue, they recommended absolutely doing more testing. Another smaller but frustrating thing is instead of calling to confirm an appointment a couple of days before and saying "call us if you need to cancel", they persist on talking to you live to ensure you're coming the next day. They will call you until you confirm. While I get that there are no-show's and flakes, as someone who has never missed an appointment while a part of this practice, I find this frustrating. I think this may be for this one doctor. Overall, there's a lack of genuine care in this practice. I can't explain it but from the moment you walk in, there's no warmness - no toys for the younger kids to play with, no nothing. After having a wonderful pediatrician office where we were from previously, this office doesn't compare to it. Even their assistants seem so dull and cold. Not sure if morale is just low here or what but when it comes to care for your children, you should always feel like you're getting what you need and in this case, I don't. This place is fine if you're looking for a yearly checkup - in and out. Anything beyond that, I would recommend staying away. We will be switching practices later this month.
