Now that I've once again moved (this time from Houston to SA), I decided I had to just get it over with. This office is currently operating by APPOINTMENT ONLY. I was able to easily schedule online back in March but the wait was a month long. Hopefully it's gotten better since then. When you arrive, you will submit to a screening (sanitize your hands, temperature taken & the guard asks a few simple questions like whether you have any symptoms or were exposed to someone with Covid recently). There are self check-in tablets available & then you'll have a seat until your number is called. I printed & filled out my application form at home & also used the online check in option that was provided in my appointment confirmation email.

From the Girlzone newspaper, that highlights local artists and events that the girls are involved in, to the Women's Health program. The center does so much good for the women in the community that it's hard not to get involved if you're a women. There's plenty of volunteer work to be done and it's a great organization to be involved in. It's a safe haven for women going through any thing dramatic in their life or just need help. They work with domestic violence cases and also educate women on health issues such as breast cancer and diabetes. I like that this is indoors, so even if there's a line, you are probably going to wait comfortably inside the building. While you wait, they have some amazing posters with some history about voting through the decades and how much it's changed throughout the years. This location has about 15 voting screens, so the line usually moves really quickly. The process is always very seamless and the staff working there is very friendly. Let's go out and vote San Antonio!

These guys really SAPD my strength…read more I've had some pretty bad experiences with the San Antonio Police Department, mainly in the tourist areas. The ones down here haven't given me too much of a hard time and the one officer that I did encounter from this particular Department was friendly and informative, and while he didn't go out of his way, he definitely was a lot nicer than a lot of the cops that I've encountered in recent years. This particular office seems not very oft used, but it's part of the precinct for this wider neighbourhood.
