The event started at 4:15pm but when I rolled in it was a slow launch but whem I left it was picking up. Free face painting. Live music. A beautiful ofrenda. Private lot. People were very nice. They lead you in candlelight to the cemetery across the street where they also hold a small ceremony but both times I haven't been able to attend that part. There was food this time but I would suggest having it be lively from the start! I am not Hispanic but I love the idea of a day of remembering.

Beautiful new space for a great theatre company! There is substantially more space than in the old…read more31Studios theater - and a real box office. There are seats for 60 now, versus 40 formerly. At the time of my visit the performance space was fully built but some of the other spaces (restrooms) were still being finished. RI Spirits is on the lower level of the building, and they've graciously sponsored the concession stand, meaning that during intermission you can get Rhodium vodka or gin (with a mixer) along with soft drinks, or sweet and salty snacks. The Burbage Theatre Company is already an important contributor to the Pawtucket arts scene, with free Shakespeare (and the hysterical Complete Works, which still counts) in the city spaces like the Guild over the past two summers. We saw the very funny The School for Lies today, and the rest of the line-up for this 9th season looks equally exciting. I'm looking forward to a fabulous season from an energetic and engaging company.

Sean the owner is a gracious host (plus he played in local ska heroes Big D & the Kids Table), his assistant Shanna is beyond helpful and kind with her time & the one teacher I interacted with Danilo is awesome too!! Shawn would have his lessons and improved greatly over his time there. We also got to watch young kids work on song writing, arranging and performing which was super cool to see!! I would recommend YOU ROCK for anyone that wants to play when if you have never tried before. They have summer camps for kids, adult classes, group classes, private lessons, recording studio, pod cast studio and even a performance area. This was an intimate performance in one of the larger rehearsal halls that held ~140 patrons. Each of the numbers were original pieces choreographed by a company member, unique and wonderful in their own right. The performances were moving, emotional and uplifting.
