The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I would say that that's the only downfall during the winter time of staying over there. But that is where the pool is so it just depends on what you're looking for at your stay. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard. The one employee that we encountered was the bartender assigned to our room. My first encounter from her I thought she was just having a bad day and I let it go. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Not even a smile. But as the night went on people started talking and it seemed everyone was having a not so good encounter from Robyn. She did not ID anyone all night, except my coworker that asked for a mocktail. She was rude to some people and unprofessional to others. It just progressively got worse. Yes the management will be reaching out to the contact they have at the casino to let them know. I was just so taken back about how somebody could go out of their way to be so rude at a fun holiday party. Loyalty programs should reflect actual play, and this didn't feel rewarding at all. Overall, while the property itself is great, the casino rewards system, lack of bonuses, and minimal return left a bad impression. I've been coming here since 2014, and as a long-time customer, I would expect my level of play and loyalty to be recognized with better incentives and a more consistent rewards experience.

I learned about this tour from a friend and I think it's fairly new. At any rate, interesting tour. Not your typical here's the city and these are some of the landmarks and here are some fun facts. The difference is this tour was focused around the public art that can be seen everyday along the streets and sidewalks, built into the infrastructure, in the form of manhole covers or hatches as they are referred to. The folks conducting the tour included information of the various artistic manhole covers, combining it with first hand information from the artists and discussed the history of the work and how it fits into the identity of Seattle. They also provide information on the history of the city and how Seattle became the city you see as you take the tour. Pretty neat concept exploring aspects of the city that folks often take for granted as they pass by. Another fun fact about this tour is that it evolved out of an art project. I thought that was particularly interesting. Some of the prints, etc are pretty cool and again not what you would typically expect or encounter from one of these free tours. I'd recommend this tour to anybody to who wants to learn more about the history of Seattle, who appreciates public art or art in general and who has a free hour or so on a Saturday morning.

This is a great local experience! Our friend was visiting from Italy (crossed the Atlantic to ride…read morea gondola) and loved the trip. Greg was an excellent singer and she really appreciated his Italian dialect when singing. The tour was very enjoyable and Greg shared some local history while carrying us around the harbor. If you have the time, we recommend the 90 minute tour all the way around the harbor. It's a very relaxing trip and well worth it.
