The food is always amazing here! As a local I always recommend it for fast food, it may not be the quickest but it's better than other places. The sweet tea WITH THE GOOD ICE! Chicken strips out gravy. Fried okra. All of it is so amazing! The workers are all so kind as well and get the food out quickly! And the atmosphere is awesome as well! Got to drive thru at 8:50pm waited until 9:02 when the lady came on and said the closed at 9pm. all signs say 10pm.

Where to start? Firstly, the service was terrible. The person who took our order behaved as if he didn't want to be there or as if he disliked his job. We seemed to be troubling him. After we ordered our food, he informed us that they were out of chicken. Surprised, I responded, "It's a chicken restaurant. How can there be no chicken?" He explained that there was no chicken cooked. I then requested, "Could you please cook some?" When we received our order, the fries were soggy and greasy, the chicken tenders were overcooked, and my three-piece chicken was undercooked. The biscuits were as hard as rocks. Considering it was dinner time when we decided to stop at this place, one would expect freshly cooked items.But we were mistaken. So, if you choose to visit this Chicken Express, I hope your experience surpasses mine. I wish the owner of this Chicken Express would take note and address the issue with the staff, as their service is unsatisfactory. read more

Chicken Express, All i can say is that they SUCK! At first they were good, then they started serving me deep fried chicken shit. This is what i can imagine as the only explanation of why this happened. They must of heard me say " Can I get chicken tenders hold the chicken" because they misplaced my chicken. And they charged me full price. I wouldn't be as upset if they just charged me for the chicken shit deep fried deluxe no chicken they gave me, but they charged me like I ordered chicken with my tenders. I had to eat sleep that night beCause I wasn't eating deep fried chicken dick. Fast and friendly! The manager was so sweet to my family. The Mac n cheese wasn't their best that I've had but everything else was great! We ordered bone in chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. Very good customer service with my 2 young kiddos :D read more

They definitely know how to fry chicken here! Moist with a crispy coating, and lots of seasoning (get the Spicy, it's not hot). My partner was excited for Livers and Gizzards; also fresh and really crunchy. Mashed potatoes have flavor on their own, they don't taste like the usual premade instant blandtatoes. The white gravy doesn't really standout, but why should it? The Fried Okra is amazing and deserves a paragraph on its own. Crunchy and perfectly seasoned, I don't think I've ever had better (sorry Mom). Great for dipping in gravy, potatoes or Ranch dressing (yes they have the good Ranch, nicely chilled of course). Their drinks have chewable crushed ice, the biscuits are fresh and flaky but I barely had room left. Maybe later with some butter and honey. Good service but the food really shines. read more

Only kids at this restaurant, and rude! Stopped by at 9pm took to go, took back to hotel and when we opened box. Chicken was not fully cooked! Called girl said sorry ! My mom and I visited the chicken express in elk city Oklahoma yesterday. None of the employees were wearing masks or gloves even to prepare or handle food. We were grossed out to say the least. Also we ordered 2-#1s, one with all spicy strips and one with half and half. Only one meal had 2 spicy and 2 regular strips. read more

Even though we have a few problems with chicken livers every now and again, the managers are always amazing and the problem is always fixed. Nobody is ever bothered by us bringing an issue to light. And any problems are handled in a very timely manner. The staff is very polite and helpful, sometimes the drive-thru speaker is hard to hear what is being said, but those are normal problems. We love the staff, and i can't stress that enough. Will go back everytime! read more

When you talk about express that's what I got. In less than one minute I got the worst meal I have ever tried to eat. I ordered the eighteen piece gizzard with biscuit. I just went through the drivethru and as I was in the middle of ordering, I got interrupted with a question I didn't understand. I was ordering a simple #1 Tender combo and I was asked if I wanted "spicy regular or mixed" this threw me off guard because I didn't even know they had spicy tenders. I was confused so I tried to confirm that I only wanted the tender meal and not a chicken piece combo. I was immediately met with attitude and asked the same question hatefully. I told her regular and tried to proceed with my order. I didn't want a drink so I just said "no drink with that." I was perfectly aware that a drink is fitted into the price of the combo, and I was fine "wasting" that extra dollar. She continued to give me an attitude by saying I HAD to order the dinner with 2 sides because I didn't want a drink. I simply said I didn't want an extra side, and that they could just give me no drink. Then someone else cut into the line and they ALSO gave me an attitude and said I had to get the dinner and it "is the same price" and I "need" to get it otherwise I'd be "wasting my money." What happened to the customer always being right? Why was I IMMEDIATELY met with an attitude and argumentative employees? There needs to be better training at this location and employees need to be taught to not be hateful with customers. This was absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable read more
