As both bride and wedding vendor (I am a photographer), I trust Christina of Paper Rock Scissors…read more I work with many, many people who do what she does and there is a reason why other wedding professionals go to Christina for their own invitations and business collateral: she's that good. Christina has been in the business and knows paper top to bottom. She knows fonts, wording, color, printing, envelopes, design, and all of the nitty gitty details that you'd never even think of (the price of stamps when you'll be sending your invites, the size of the particular stamp you should get for that, the order of the pieces as they are presented to your guest...). Trust me, she knows it. I am planning my destination wedding right now and I went to Christina. The invites were the one piece I wanted to do myself but I knew that I had the perfect resource to supervise and guide me. I have been in her office more times that I can count to get her help with addresses, wording, paper selection, timing... She is spectacular and has been overseeing the invitations that I couldn't love more. She is charming, patient, and creates some of the most gorgeous and high-end invitations I have ever seen. My invites are relatively simple but I have seen pieces that she has created that would blow your mind! Set up a consultation with her and you'll see for yourself. You can trust Paper Rock Scissors to create THE BEST first impression for your event.

The mock juries pay the most, but you have to be there for 8 hours or more. You do get a continental breakfast, lunch, snacks & many breaks for those. Other focus groups last 1-2 hours. Always had a pleasant experience here. The facility is very clean, the workers and facilitators are courteous & professional. You can get a parking voucher. I take Septa regional rail which is very convenient, as the facility is only two blocks away from Suburban Station. You get to choose from various gift cards, a virtual or physical Visa debit card. Previously when it was called Scleshinger Group, they issued your payment before you left the facility. Now it's put into a digital wallet and takes 4- 6 weeks until you actually receive payment. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Had to wait 2-4 weeks for the payments to be processed then once its done have to wait another 6-8 weeks to redeem the payments (I chose the physical VISA debit cards). Then once mailed have to wait 7-10 business days. Overall from the time I completed the studies to finally received the cards took close to 3 months. Because of that left a very BAD!!! taste in my mouth to the point where I no longer want to be a participant with that company.

We're in California and weren't able to travel so everything had to be done at a distance--and my partner and I had a LOT of diverse requirements. Cathie and her company were recommended by one of our subject matter experts/interviewees, and we were so relieved. But beyond that, let me just say they have been a dream to work with--flexible, communicative, enthusiastic and ready to do whatever it took to get what we needed. In particular, they worked in partnership with us, came up with great ideas, and worked with our vision. Their expertise in both interviewing and event shoots has been outstanding, and they have brought more to the project than we ever thought to hope for. I can't recommend them strongly enough. If you are considering booking BG Productions, we cannot recommend them highly enough - we feel…read moreextremely lucky to have had Cathie and Al photograph/video our wedding. They are an AMAZING duo, extremely talented, and genuinely awesome people. They captured all of the important moments at our wedding with ease, and the entire family/wedding party photo session was stress-free and extremely efficient. Our photos are absolutely beautiful. It's been nearly two years (we're coming up on our 2 year anniversary - and I realized recently that we never left a Yelp review!) and we still have our photos proudly on display everywhere because the photos are both beautiful and fun. Cat and Al will produce timeless photos that you really want to keep on display forever - they do not feel stiff, fake, or overly formal like so many wedding photos we've seen from other photographers. More than any other vendor, BG Productions helped us nail down the timing of our entire day. On our first in-person meeting, they sat down with us and voluntarily helped us think through the schedule of events until we had everything worked out. We left that meeting incredibly excited, and also incredibly relieved to have finalized a task that had been causing us a huge headache. As a couple who was planning a weird wedding (steampunk themed), it was fantastic to have a photography team who not only understood the theme, but loves steampunk. Cathie and Al came in costume, so they fit right in with everyone at the wedding. We've had so many of our guests comment on how fantastic they were, and how much fun they were to have at the wedding. Lastly, Al produced a fantastic short video for our wedding that perfectly captured the essence of our big day. It was invaluable to have for family members who couldn't make it, and is something we plan to watch every year on our anniversary. We would highly recommend BG Productions to anyone!
