Cold food, 1/2 employees shouldn't be working in food services, 2 stars for the employees working hard and trying to keep things clean.

The setup is simple: get in the single file line, look over the menu overhead while moving forward, and then place your order. The staff at the counter was very pleasant and quick to answer any questions we had. I went with the quarter chicken (dark meat) paired with the sweet potato fries and corn salad. Available beverages range from speciality fruit beverages, to bottled water, to Pepsi brand fountain drinks and of course, sweet/unsweet tea. I opted to go with just plain water. I was then given a number to place on the table of my choosing and wait for my order to be delivered. The dining room appeared clean with lots of seating. The music was a little loud for my taste, but it was probably the concrete floors and open ceilings that were more to blame for that. There is an adjoining glass window patio section that's much quieter, but it's not climate-controlled and it was pretty humid on the day of our visit, so we stayed in the main dining room and picked a table in the back. Our entrees came out in a timely fashion, and everything looked great. The chicken was moist and very tasty. The sweet potato fries could have been a little crispier in my opinion, but they tasted great. The corn salad was very refreshing. One of the staff came by to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Kudos for that follow-up. Viva Chicken is definitely on our "must return" list.

It made sense. I get two sides with the chicken, so I asked for double sweet potato fries. The last few times I've been in there, it was less than half of the portion of sweet potato fries. At first, I thought perhaps the kitchen was thinking it was only one side? So this time I asked the cashier about it. She told me she'd make sure that I got the proper portion of fries. The photo depicts what I found when I opened the box. Sadly, this will be my last time at Viva Chicken.

It is easy to see from the street but the entrance to park is from behind and you can use the Longhorn Steak entrance to get to the front. You pick the base of the bowl (rice, salad...mixed), move onto the other we other choices of what tops it, like onions, cucumber, carrots or more specific but some cost extra. Everything today was super fresh. I went with a mix of tuna, spicy tuna, and marinated tuna with gochujang, and every bite was on point. The rice was perfectly sticky, the toppings were crisp, and you can really tell the ingredients are high quality. I did a half-and-half base and added extra protein, and honestly, for about $20 with tip, it felt like a great deal. I used to pay closer to $30 for something similar back in Nashville, so this is definitely a win. Safe to say this is going into my regular rotation.

It is more and more difficult to find a national fast food chain to have any real confidence in,…read moreeither as to the quality of the food or the service. And as for a double curse, at most of these spots, the prices go up as the portions tail off. I have found Jason's to be flying against these trends, consistently providing stable value and consistent flavor from a menu that is large and varied - with their full salad bar providing one of the very best values at any restaurant, national or local. On this visit, I was again picking up several items for a small family group. We chose fully loaded containers from the salad bar, a bow of chili, and a full sized Reuben sandwich. Once home, we split the items up for all to enjoy - nothing disappointed! This was a first try with the chili, and it was quite nice - plenty of well seasoned ground beef, no beans or onions, but was well topped with cheddar cheese! The Reuben contained 8 ounces of hot, tasty corned beef, great cheese, plenty of kraut, marble rye, and lots of 1000 Island Dressing. It was cut into the required pieces, and the additional dressing was shared - a bit messy but delicious in total. The center piece was the large amount of variety in the salad, and when well covered in the dressing this was great - not especially healthy with the amount of dressing I added! I'll be back soon as I noticed they are offering Beef Stew for a while - gotta try that.

I used to stop…read morehere for the occasional lunch trip with co-workers, and this was my first time back since relocating back to the Triad. It was a busy lunch hour when we pulled in, but still able to find parking without difficulty. Several copies of the menu are taped along the booth partitions that create the order line walkway. Lots of options, and I went with the TJ's Club Special. Order taken and paid for at the front counter, and we selected a table near the front window. The place was definitely busy with both takeout and dine-in orders. Restaurant was well-lit, comfortable, and clean. Mishap #1, we noticed a lot of other order numbers being called besides ours so my wife went up to inquire and it somehow got labeled with a different patron's name and put off to the side. Hey, mistakes happen and the order contents itself were accurate. My wife got the half-sandwich and soup and made the comment that the soup was nice and hot. My Club sandwich was PACKED with meat like you'd expect if your grandma had made it. I got my sandwich with their pasta salad and it was delicious. Mishap #2, we were hoping to use the restroom before leaving but it was labelled "out of order". For all I know, a plumber might have been dispatched, but this is one of those things I would think you need to take care of ASAP when offering a dine-in option. TJ's is definitely a must-try for a great deli sandwich.

It was hot and delicious although I felt the tortilla wrap was a little stiff like maybe they didn't warm it before adding the ingredients. My husband got an Italian Hoagie. He had them take off the 1000 Island and add mayo instead. He enjoyed it a lot. We also got a side of Onion Rings to share. The first thing we noticed was how dark in color they were and also the abundance of seasoning. My husband took a bite of one and immediately started coughing because of the super salty flavor of them. Having a long history in the restaurant business, we could tell they were re-fried and obviously re-seasoned. He returned them to the counter where they gave us a fresh batch without a problem. The new ones were visibly much better however, as long time customers of TJ's we noticed how much thicker the breading was than it used to be. I was disappointed the batter was so prominent I couldn't really taste the onion. I think they either changed their breading or changed the way they bread them. I wasn't a fan though so I will hesitate to order any breaded items from now on. The dining room, as always was bright and clean bustling with customers eating lunch. The service is nothing but friendly there every time we visit as well. I will continue to frequent TJ's Deli.

Ok-No lie...as soon as I began to type this review my mouth began to salivate. My salivary glands are proof that just thinking about the deliciousness that is created here has left a permanent biological imprint-in my mouth! I'm becoming addicted to the flavors I'm becoming concerned...for other restaurants near YAMAS! Ordering online through their website is super easy and the order is always ready on time. I ordered take out today as it is located close to my work and in an easy to navigate location. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture because I had already eaten half and saved the other half in my work fridge for tomorrow's lunch AND dinner-that's how big the portions are! My order (create a bowl-this would be considered a grain bowl but they also offer half and half bowls with a grain and choice of lettuce) consisted of: -Dips and spreads: tahini hummus, tzatziki cucumber -Protein: chicken souvlaki (it was EXTRA seasoned and tender today! But it always is:) -Toppings (my favorite part and it's fun to switch them up!): cauliflower tabbouleh, organic quinoa (damn-I didn't need auto correct for that-small victories in life are what's up), marinated chickpeas, marinated mushrooms, spicy cherry peppers, roasted garlic (my absolute favorite along with marinated mushrooms and spicy cherry peppers), corn salad. *I sometimes substitute with the seasoned fries because they are the skinny fries and are the bomb. I find it hard to trust someone who doesn't like a beautifully seasoned skinny fry. Not done! Sauces: lemon/lime tahini mild (this was my first time trying it and it fit perfectly with the more nuttier flavors as well with the chicken) as it cut with acidity! Also I had the chug cilantro spicy jalapeño (probably my favorite thing in this menu). It must be said that the prices here are pretty dope compared to any restaurant today. Especially compared with another "similar" known restaurant that doesn't offer nearly as many authentic choices. As mentioned above, the bowl I ordered today will provide me with three HEALTHY and NUTRITIOUS and simply clean meals. They could make a killing creating a meal subscription. Every time I have entered the door I have been greeted immediately. The staff are warm and welcoming, with just the right amount of cheekiness. You're welcome!!!!!!! -
