Service-Stephen was great! He had the most upbeat attitude and not just a generic conversation. He was genuine and understanding. He knew and understood my motherhood struggles when dealing with a difficult toddler in the back and was also offering suggestions to minimize potential messes. He was proactive while also being productive and getting my order done quickly. Food- was good and hot which it is always super fresh. There is enough options for even the pickiest families such as mine. My other daughter likes to get the mac and cheese and the fruit cup, the young one likes the kids meals and they always have great toys, and the food is healthier than the other competitors it doesn't feel or taste like factory made. read more

Last night I was working a night shift at Kaiser in Bellevue. During my lunch break around 9:30 PM, I ordered a salad but did not receive any salad dressing or utensils. I couldn't drive back to Chick-fil-A because my patients returned shortly after I noticed the mistake, so I saved the salad to address it today. I went to the Renton location since it's close to my home and explained what happened to the cashier. She offered me a refund, but I told her I only wanted the dressing. She then offered a new salad, which I declined -- again, I just wanted the dressing. She kindly asked if there was anything else she could offer to make up for it, and I said a chicken biscuit meal would be fine. She even offered cookies or a brownie, which I declined and thanked her for her help. Then a manager approached and said, "Ma'am, can I help you?" I explained that the Bellevue Chick-fil-A had gotten my order wrong. Without asking any clarifying questions, he immediately stated that each Chick-fil-A has separate owners and that I would have to go back to Bellevue to fix the issue. The cashier then said, "Oh, I didn't hear Bellevue," even though I had mentioned it earlier. This interaction felt very dismissive. I originally only wanted salad dressing, and I would have been perfectly fine leaving with just that. The manager's fixation on the location was frustrating and unnecessary, especially since no effort was made to understand the full situation or offer a solution within policy. I'm not upset about the policy -- I'm upset about the lack of care and basic customer service. Had this been handled with more consideration, I would have continued ordering from this location instead of Bellevue. Unfortunately, they've lost a customer. read more

Had a really great experience at this Chick-fil-A. The staff was super friendly and actually seemed to care, which you don't see everywhere. Food came out fresh and fast, everything was on point. This review actually marks a first for me as it is the first time I have not given Chick-fil-A five stars. The caliber of the food and the genuine kindness of the folks working here was as high as ever, but it was the first time that I thought about a Chick-fil-A not being as efficient as it should otherwise be. We stopped in after an early flight from Chicago and discovered that this place was here, as before this we thought the only Chick-fil-A in the area was in Bellevue. This was the first time we've ever been to a Chick-fil-A and felt like the flow of the place hadn't been optimized. There's actually a spot where you have to cross over Elaine of traffic to get out of the drive-through. It doesn't seem like a big thing, but in a place that realistically will have 30 to 40 cars in the drive-through on a regular basis, this seems like a gigantic oversight. On the plus side, when they forgot to bring out our coffee, they brought a second one, which was very nice! As previously stated, everyone here was as friendly and kind as we would expect to find a Chick-fil-A, and perhaps they are simply working out the bugs. I look forward to a time when the efficiency of this Chick-fil-A is at the level of most others! read more

Got regular Dr Pepper instead of Diet and shot my blood sugar up almost 200 points. I should know better by now than to order soda in a drive through since invariably someone will mess that up. It doesn't matter to them if even one gulp of regular soda will cause me serious issues. The tuning of the syrup in the fountain often makes it somewhat hard to tell by taste. I had about four swigs while driving before my CGM blew up on me. Seriously bad experience since I had to inject a full day's worth of short-acting insulin and I'm still not doing great. The people were pleasant, and other than the soda, the order was quick and accurate. (The other items in the order were not for me.) There needs to be some type of flag for diabetics and people allergic to sugar for things like this. I guess the solution is to never go to a chick-fil-a again. read more

I came here for chicken and got it but had to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru. The drive thru attendant didn't have a full menu to look at, just a tiny photo for each combo without any words and it was hard to see in the rain. I came to this chain about once a year so it would be great to have a real menu to view. Chicken sandwich was hot, drink was cold, but the fries were chilled. ATTN: BELLEVUE LOCATION: GET A CLUE...LOSE THE QUEUE This is the second time I have eaten at the Chick-fil-A in downtown Renton, at the corner of Rainier Ave., South and 3rd. Unlike the Bellevue location (see my review), I have not noticed any traffic jams here, which is good. Perhaps it's because there's two entrances at this Renton location, whereas Bellevue only has one. One is off SB Rainier Ave S, and the other is just north of 3rd Avenue (must drive by teriyaki restaurant). NO CHARGE FOR BBQ/CFS VIALS Today,I had a Chick-fil-A spicy sandwich and a fruit cup for $9.40 plus tax. There was no charge for the two vials of barbecue sauce and one of Chick-fil-A sauce. It was not "haute cuisine", as in, something to write home about. But it was still nevertheless a worthy bite to eat for when you're hungry. RESTAURANT AND RESTROOMS The last time I was here about a month ago, the restaurant inside and the restrooms were closed because of Covid. But I'm happy to announce that as of this month (July 2021), we can now eat inside the restaurant (except at long table waiting area), and use the restrooms (code required). This reflects WA state's gradual reopening thanks to Seattle being the 1st US metro area to have 70% fully vaccinated status (2 weeks after 2nd shot). BUT OFFICIALLY, COVID FACE COVERAGE RELAXED ONLY IF FULLY VAXXED The staff are still all wearing masks. Yet I saw no sign re: masks at the entrance, I asked the staff about customers wearing masks. They told me the official policy is fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a mask, but that they have no way of verifying it, therefore they only "advise" customers to wear masks. I noticed that most customers were still wearing masks except when eating. Me, I ordered indoors, but ate out in my vehicle. This Chick-fil-A is slow, the food doesn't taste fresh, and the drive-through manager is rude. On multiple occasions I've ordered an ice cream cone from here and it tastes off, like plastic almost? The soda also has an off taste to it. This is all compared to the south Center Chick-fil-A, where I never have any of these issues. If you could make the drive to the south center Chick-fil-A, do it. read more

First visit. 1 of my 3 sandwiches was missing. Live a ways away. 35-40 mins. They sent me QR codes to replace it. Nice. I went there last Sunday but they were closed. The codes expire today. Not feeling the greatest and called to request to extend the codes for a few more days. I called the main office and the store they will not extend another few days. ;( The answer was no. So this is what a bun less chicken sandwich looks like or what I like to call a lettuce wrap. When I was dieting and doing my best soul about what I ate I went here assuming that they would have a good substitution for a bun less burger but this is what they gave me. This place is a joke. During construction they can't figure out how to keep a consistent entrance. They change it every other day then when you don't get it right they ask you to move or go around again even though there is no one in sight that you are in the way of. The morning manager is a power tripping robot. Asking a customer to walk out in the rain to move their car when it is causing no one any problem whatsoever does not show much flexibility. The ladies working the drive through are friendly but never seem to know what they're doing.
