Chick-fil-a is my favorite place to bring my kids to eat. They are so kid friendly here! The staff is energetic, sweet, and patient. We have so many good experiences here. And I just learned today that if the kids don't want the toy that comes with the kids meal they can trade it in for an ice cream! This is a great option for my 1 year old who is still in the crayon eating stage! Also the food is great! I love the spicy chicken sandwich. So, go into this location, on a Saturday evening and proceed to order a chicken stripe meal (at a chicken place!). Order is taken, go to make payment and I'm told that the stripe will take 20 minutes. Scratch that and I order a sandwich meal and a cup of tortilla soup. All's good. Take our seat and an employee comes over to say the soup will take 20 minutes, would I like to wait? Answer is NO! The employee then asks if I would like a refund? Answer is YES! Service was slow and we were the only ones in curbside/drive through. Got there before another car, they got their food before us (mind you we ordered 10 minutes before we got to the restaurant) and still was a 10 min wait at curbside! Chickfila is usually on time so I'm not sure what happened but my food was cold by the time it got to me. Not impressed. read more

This is way different than the one in Dixieland. Chicken was terrible dry and tasted like it was sitting all day. Horrible!! The one on Dixieland is way better. I wasted $40 down the drain on this crap. Very disappointed with the food. Also the chicken sandwiches were very thin and the piece of chicken was very small or maybe it was just dried out. It was like a rubber tire. Very dissatisfied, never again! Burger King next door would have probably been a better choice. read more

It was such a great experience ya'll! I do recommend 100/10 ! They never let me down, and the service is emasculate . The food is as juicy as seen on commercial, worth the buy! This chick Fila location in particular really needs to hire intelligent workers. Every time I go to this location because it's in my area they always find a way to upset me how in the hell I wait over 10 mins for just one item. I went inside to ask for my one item after seeing a curbside worker look at my car then said he didn't see it he didn't even come outside he walked through the first door then turned back around and went inside. Not a bad establishment. Chick-Fil-A is definitely on the upper end of service when it comes to fast food. Drive-Thru lines are always packed, but it moves quickly. It's smart to have employees take orders well in advance. Their menu is also recognizable enough, that orders are made quickly. Last 4 times I have ordered from this location with doordash, they have not given me what I had ordered. Each time I have ordered from them, I have ordered a 1/2 unsweet 1/2 sweet gallon of tea ($8) and they give me either sweet or unsweet gallon ..this is the 4th time! And the manager said :well just bring the gallon you got up here and exchange it!" ...so he wants me to PAY FOR AN UBER to get the gallon I ordered, so his employees mess up and he wants me to pay to come up there? unprofessional! the employees and managers at this store need some SERIOUS training... $32 dollars for 4 gallons and all of them were NOT what i ordered! Tonight, I even CALLED before i made my doordash order and asked them to PLEASE make sure they give me the right gallon of tea and the kid said "ok maam ill tell the drink person and the person bagging the orders" and so even calling them before making my order didnt work! My advice to you if you live in harlingen, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE! Because they will mess up your order then tell you its your problem and you gotta drive up to them to fix it! This new location opened a month ago, the interior is updated and modern. The booths next to the children's area are larger, allowing for 6 comfortably instead of just 4. The staff were all kind and friendly. There are at least two stations that allow you to get your condiments, napkins, straws. So it's less crowded, and cleaner. Very happy with this location, the staff is friendly and mostly attentive, the food is fresh and assembled well, and the dining area is clean and free of trash, as the employees clean often when I'm there. Today's visit included a few flies, I know it's through no fault of their own, but I thought it was odd to see. Traveling from California-Arizona-Louisiana-Florida-Texas-Georgia, This is the only chick-fil-a location where they don't have anybody working the lobby asking if everything is okay, refills needed, extra sauce, etc. Looks like I'll be testing the other location to see if it's any better. read more
