I recommend chic fil a of course but this location.. not at all. It's always backed up, they never know what's going on and don't leave without checking your bag because more than likely it's going to be wrong. Whats the point of having a seating area for people to eat yet you dont offer refills on the drinks. Worst chickfila ive ever been to.

So I remember this establishment participating in the breakfast sandwich services where we would buy 200/300 chicken biscuits and resell them on the ship. We even met the owner who is a Veteran. To pull up to get food and learn the you choose to not partake in the free chicken sandwich for Veterans today but other Chick Fil Las' are is disheartening. this place is awful !! just went through the drive through and the lady at the window was extremely rude wouldn't even talk to me and was giving me rude faces ! i asked for a empty salad bowl and the girl gave me attitude and walked away without saying anything. a black lady in a black shirt walks over that said she was manager and starts aggressively yelling at me about that they don't give out empty salad bowls and just walked away before i could even ask if i could pay for one she was extremely rude and aggressive . i worked for chick-fil-a in Virginia beach for 2 years and never in my life have i seen anything like this ! i will not be returning! read more

This Chick-fil-A is in such a great area, by that I mean it's not in a tight area. You don't have panic entering or exiting because of traffic! The color of the exterior is also cute and chic. The employees were kind and friendly. Most importantly it was the fastest Chick-fil-A service I've had in a long while! read more

I'm going to give the nicest review about this ChickfilA I can... considering I worked at a CFA for years and I am also pregnant. The food isn't bad, it's normally relatively fresh, and I haven't had a ton of issues with them making sure I'm not missing anything. However the level of service is awful... and I mean awful. I've never been one to expect anyone to go out of their way for me but the employees are in no way personable! I drove through the drivethru one time and the little hispanic girl who was outside taking orders was very rude .. instead of saying "Hello" or another greeting she very rudely asked "what's the name?" as if I had been rude to her first! Not to mention 90% of the time I'm coming through the drivethru for just fries (my major pregnancy craving) and literally EVERYTIME I'm forced to pull forward into a parking spot and WAIT. For fries!! One time I came through for just a sprite and they still had me pull forward into the parking spot! I get this location may be busy, but so are many other CFAs and they are never this hostile! Sadly this is the closest location to me and I hate driving while pregnant so I just have to suck it up .. but hopefully some management can be replaced and they can truly prioritize customer satisfaction... Employees are great, however this location does to have the same standard of service of the other locations nearby. They always make you "pull forward" and wait for someone to bring your to your car. It takes too long. read more

Since starting my new job back in the beginning of October, I have been let down by this place on four separate occasions. I tried to chalk it up to the restaurant having a bad day the first two times. Prior to this, I've honestly never had a bad experience at any other Chick-fil-A in the area. The first time I placed my order on the mobile app. My food was not ready when I arrived to the pick up area, and I was made to wait off to the side. The following time I placed my order in person. I got back to my job and realized that my order was wrong. I had to return to the store to have it corrected. I only got a half-assed apology and was made to wait for correction off to the side of the parking lot, again. I was also asked to pull over and wait on my following two visits. On the last of those two visits, which was yesterday (11/03/21) I placed my order in person and went through the line. I didn't order anything complicated on that day or on any other day. Each time I ordered a side salad and grilled chicken sandwich (on white bread with extra pickles). When I arrived to the front of the line to collect my food yesterday, I was asked to pull off to the side area AGAIN. ON SOME DAYS I ONLY HAVE 30 MINUTES FOR LUNCH... I left that day without my food even though I had already paid. This store (at Newmarket) has no direct number to call, so I was unable to request a refund, as I needed to return to work promptly. I left a message on the generic recorded message line and still haven't received a call back. This location is inaccurate, slow, and have poor customer service skills. They shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves a Chick-fil-A. read more

Not only does this location get your order wrong, they don't allow re-fills on your drink. They attempt to make the City of Hampton the fall guy stating something about covid-19. That is extremely poor business practices, standing behind some out dated precautionary policy. The people are rude and short with their explanations. This is by far the worst franchise location in the US and I had my vehicle broken into once before at a different location. That was a bad experience but at least my order was right and the staff was friendly. read more

After walking through the 29 degree cold to this Chick-fil-a, I arrived to see no sign on the door saying that their dining room was closed. My wife and I sat down at a table to place our order and we were told that we could not eat in. Takeaway only. We had no car and it was 29 degrees! Eat outside? I've been to many Chick-Fil-A locations across the country and this one is by far the worse. For a new location, you would think they would be trying to impress the community enough that we would want to make this our go-to location. There's 3 locations within a 5-10 minute radius so the competition has to be steep. I highly recommend bypassing this location and going to the Coliseum location. The first time I visited this location, I ordered my son a kids meal and they literally left out the nuggets and gave me a half-empty bag with just the side inside. I did contact them and the issue was corrected though. Today, I went for breakfast. The girl who took my order was awful. She sounded like a McDonalds employee rather than Chick-Fil-A employee. Her tone was awful and not the usual chipper demeanor that brings people to Chick-Fil-A. I brushed it off though because it's early. I placed my order for one of the meals but I didn't tell her my drink or sauces because I was waiting for her to ask. I used to work in a drive thru when I was young, so I know how it is when people just start throwing information at you. However, she just never asked, she said "okay anything else?" And I then had to tell her my drink which I asked for large. She never asked my sauces, I thought it was weird because Chick-Fil-A is usually so organized and efficient, but no biggie I thought I'd just let them know at the window. I get to the window and they gave me the wrong size drink... again no biggie I just let the girl know it was supposed to be large but this girl acted annoyed and said it was rang up as medium. I'm thinking okay... well I asked the girl on the speaker for large and I can't see what she's putting in, she also didn't repeat my order back to me. I then asked for sauces and she acted annoyed again like I was being demanding. She asked the speaker girl if they were asking about sauces, It sounded like she was annoyed with the speaker girl who took my order and it seemed like there was a lot of tension between the two of them which was uncomfortable because then I felt like I was getting speaking girl in trouble which wasn't my intention, I just asked politely for the right size drink (which is what I thought I was charged for) and the sauces. What I've found from my two visits overall is that even though I live about a 30-second drive from this location, it's best to go to the Coliseum location. They are reliable and I've been there probably 30x in the past several years and they've never once messed up. The employees are always positive, upbeat, and helpful. It's worth going out of my way to not have to deal with this subpar location and it's grumpy employees. read more

Today's NIGHTMARE experience at the Hampton, VA. 5018 Mercury Blvd Chik-Fil-A! 1st they said 3 of my 4 unused gift cards were not accepted. Then I get home and find both Spicy Chicken Sandwiches have no top bun, and the package of chips is already open! Then they don't understand, when I had to drive all the way back, why I am upset. This was my last trip ever to this restaurant. I had already stopped going there after they discontinued the chicken salad sandwiches years ago, but I gave them another chance today as my young son likes spicy chicken. This last experience leaves me in AWE as to what actually possesses anyone to believe this is a good or even mediocre eatery. I am done with them!! read more

Unbeknownst to me, there's a new CFA in the Newmarket area of Hampton. I discovered it after sitting in line for 10 minutes only to have the team member tell me it was at the other end of Hampton...ugh! Same great taste, but total chaos served with a lot of attitude! My hopes are for this CFA to be as successful as the others, but I'm expecting a fight to break out in the drive through any day now. read more

After being stationed overseas for the last 4 years I was beyond excited to have my first Chick-Fil-A. This was my first stop after traveling over 30 hours. I walked 1 mile from my hotel to have my first American meal in the snow and the freezing 28 degrees. I walked inside and was not greeted, was told to order from the app... so I complied and sat down proceeding to order from the app. A couple minutes later a manager walks over and tells me I cannot sit inside I must sit outside in the cold to order my food. I ask him if he can make an exception as I walked there a mile and just flew in from 4 years overseas. He cut me off and just kept saying " it would be his pleasure to serve me outside".... In the snow... in 28 degrees.... I love Chick-fil-A... But I will never come back to this location. What a great "welcome back to America" that was. I do not recommend this location. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at Chic fil a! Ordered catering, but there is no way to contact anyone after you order. I didn't receive my full order and when I finally was able to contact someone they accused me of lying about not receiving my complete order. They would not refund my money, I returned to the location and was given a mushy fruit tray. I do not recommend going to this location. Very disappointed in how I was treated and unwillingness to make it right. read more

Slowest Chick-Fil-A I've been to in my life. Fries were soggy and the sandwich had an "off" taste to it. I think they used bad oil. I would expect this from Popeyes or KFC, but by Chick-Fil-A standards this is awful. Very disappointed. I'd recommend going to a different location. read more

By far, the worse CFA I've been to since I was born. Consistently wrong orders...I mean how many times can I order large sunjoy (who the heck even calls it that??) and be given a medium. Mobile orders are treated like drive thru orders which means you have to sit in the 2-mile long drive thru line even though you ordered way in advance. What sense does this make? The answer is none. Do yourself a favor and just drive the extra 5 mins to go to the 5-star CFA down the road. They'd probably give me the right size of sunjoy there. read more
