It was not super busy and to be honest, since the parking…read morelot was pretty deserted we had a hard time figuring out if this business was open or not. It's very spacious inside with a bit of room to dance and some seats available by the bar. We were greeted by the server/host/bartender/DJ. We opted for waters and just ordered a little bit of everything--quarter of a rotisserie chicken, stuffed avocado (chicken, veggies, sauce), Yuca fries. The fries came with two types of sauces: cilantro and one with a pepper base that wasnt super spicy. We were able to use this sauce for the rotisserie chicken and the Yuca fries. While waiting for the food to be prepared, our host/server/bartender/DJ asked if we were interested in dancing or if we liked music. Since we were fine with whatever, we were treated to some loud latin dance music. It as a fun vibe. At around that time, we received our food. The rotisserie chicken was very flavorful and easy to chew. The avocado and chicken was good for me, although it had more than enough celery for my husband (not his preference). The fries were delicious and are a generous portion that can be shared. Nice, hot, crispy, flavorful. I did also add on a tiramisu for dessert. One of the better ones I've had. The staff was nice enough to write out a message in chocolate syrup before plating the dish. Although we were the only ones in there prior to closing and they were trying to create a lively atmosphere, I applaud the effort. If in the area again, I'd definitely stop by again to try out something new. Thanks again to Jefferson for the great time and recommendations!

The waiter's name was Jefferson, I think, great service we I will definitely be back. It is located in the TradeWind Center (where Rose's ) is in Somerset, KY right off of US HWY 27. The place is quiet and does have a Peruvian feel to it if you're into Peruvian and Latin American culture. The place was clean, and it was empty when we arrived, though a few tables came in shortly after we go there, Over all the food was very good, the wait time was little and staff was ultra friendly . We will definitely visit again.

We stopped in here by chance, we had seen reviews in Kentucky Living and thought we would give it a try. From the moment the plate arrives, it's clear this is not just breakfast--it's heritage served hot. The county ham is the undeniable star: salt-cured, deeply flavorful, and expertly cooked so that each bite balances its robust savoriness with just enough tenderness. This is authentic Kentucky country ham--bold, unapologetic, and rich with tradition--prepared the way it should be, not watered down for convenience but honored for its character. Paired alongside are perfectly cooked eggs, done to order with a care that speaks volumes. Whether you prefer them fried with golden, lacy edges or softly scrambled, they provide the ideal counterpoint to the ham's intensity--creamy, fresh, and comforting. Together, the combination is simple, honest, and profoundly satisfying, the kind of meal that reminds you why classic breakfasts endure. What elevates The Lighthouse beyond just good food is the sense of place it delivers. This is a restaurant that understands its roots and proudly serves the flavors of the region without pretense. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the kind where locals linger over coffee and visitors immediately feel at home. Every bite of that county ham feels like a quiet nod to generations of Kentucky kitchens that perfected it long before it became a menu item. In a world of overcomplicated brunches, The Lighthouse stands tall by doing one thing exceptionally well: serving real food, made right. If you're in Edmonton, missing the county ham and eggs here would be nothing short of a culinary oversight. you are looking for comfort food this is the place to eat. Meals feels as though your home with your family. The place offers large portions, family style dinning and a welcoming environment. Don't forget the pie at the end. The pie is the cherry on top!

The menu is enormous and honestly rivals some of the Italian restaurants back home in Los Angeles. We were surprised to see entrées here that we don't even find at some of our favorite Italian restaurants in LA. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and fresh. The tortellini was rich without being heavy, the veal was perfectly cooked, and even the cannoli was outstanding. It felt like a restaurant that genuinely takes pride in its food. The highlight of the evening, though, was Alessandro. He shared stories, made us laugh, and immediately made us feel welcome. When my husband asked for ranch dressing with his salad, Alessandro smiled and said, "Welcome to Kentucky!" I guess he knew right away we weren't locals. What started as a search for a break from all the fried food around here turned into one of the best meals of our trip. If you're anywhere near Glasgow, don't miss this hidden gem.

Service was exceptional from a professional server. I ordered the 3 cheese manicotti. I love manicotti with its fresh ricotta. I got a tiny salad that wasn't much, but that was ok. The biscuits were ok. The manicotti was a huge disappointment. It was so loaded with mozzarella cheese that I couldn't taste any other flavors. It was almost just a pile of melted mozzarella cheese. It was hard to find the pasta under it. This was really disappointing and I couldn't eat much of it. This could be a great dish - maybe - with 1/4 as much mozzarella. Nobody needs that much cheese! It drowned out the entire essence of the entree.
