Today my best friend and went to Chicago Gyros and got the bulgogi combos and when I tell y'all there was so much food that we still had some left over the next day and the customer service was 10/10 everybody was respectful, and nice the energy was so positive and peaceful. I absolutely recommend this. read more

This place seems to be split a sub and gyro shop which should have been a clue. I had previously gone there with a friend and gotten a sub and it was fair. Not bad. Not great but not horrible. So I was in the mood for a GYRO salad so I thought I would hit it. Big mistake. Worse GYRO salad ever. Just loads of lettuce that seemed like it was possibly on its way out. Very little Lamb and not much else. Very unappealing . No olives or other things u expect on a traditional GYRO salad. To top things off I asked for a glass of ice water and they wanted to charge me $2 for that. She kept screaming at me Do you want kitchen water or what ? This was all after I had left a very nice tip. I will never go back. read more

Haven't been here in awhile and was really disappointed. Maybe it's just me but I always thought catfish always came with tartar sauce. Nope. Wife got a chicken gyro and said it was just ok. From my memory they were a lot better in the past. Last time I got the German schnitzel and it was delicious. I will give them one kudos. You get plenty for your money read more

I am writing this to rate the California Subs that is part of the Chicago Gyros at this location. The lady working behind the counter was awesome. I had to clarify something with my wife's order via mobile phone and she was understanding despite the inconvenience of having to wait for me. The sandwiches were packed full of flavor and all of the items I selected for our individual orders. I was very pleased with our order and the value. My dollars went much further here than at other establishments, which is important given the economy right now. We ate very well. Highly recommended, especially if you're on a budget. I cannot say enough about the lady at the counter. She has a great work ethic and puts her heart in her work. We will be back! read more

OMG! I've found my go-to place for gyros. They also have a California sub shop in the same place. If anyone wants something else it's still right here. I haven't had the subs yet but I'm looking forward for one read more

First time trying this place and was GREAT! My kids got the chicken gyro with just cheese and I got the lamb gyro and they were amazing! Most definitely try the cream cheese wontons, they are mouth watering!!! Woman was very sweet and patient! Will definitely be coming back again soon! read more

We walked in for dinner while a phone was being tended to at AT&T. We were all stunned by the selection. I had the spätzle, which was not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was the dough kind. It was actually breaded pork. Either way, it was delicious. The catfish dinner was also outstanding. The potato salad was weirdly fantastic. Even the chicken tenders were good. Portions were huge. read more

Really good place for a quick lunch and it's just across the parking lot from Walmart in Oak Grove. Good thing they give you a lot of food for your money as I hate sHopping hungry! I would not recommend this place if you have ever had an authentic gyro. Large portion but is lacking in flavor. The service was fast.

I thought we were going to California Subs but Chicago Gyros and California Subs are in one place. The subs we ordered tasted like a Publix or Subway Sub, but they cost more. I prefer Publix more. $10 for a twelve inch sub was a little high. Unfortunately, I don't like the Subway nearby, and Publix is too far. It was nice to eat something that was not ramen though. Service was good. They put pickles on the side for me. read more

My first time eating here and it will be my last time. Although the lady who took my order was very nice and respectful, I cannot continue to give my business to a restaurant that I find any insect or bug in my food/drink. read more

The restaurant is split or shared with California Subs. I had a meatball sub and it was delicious. The prices are sorta high. For the same price you can get Firehouse subs in which I favor, but the food is pretty good. read more

Chicago's Gyros is clean, and well maintained. However when you walk in, you find yourself in a store with a sandwich shop, and the "gyro" shop. This place doesn't know what it is between the sandwiches, bulgolgi, gyro, and philly cheese steaks. I tried the Lamb Gyro platter with fries. The plates are so huge- each order should come with a warning that you can serve 2. However, the amount of lettuce, half tomato, and half onion made it hard to mix or eat anything. The pita with the platter was good, warm. The lamb was okay, but salty. The "cucumber Tzatziki" was anything but that between a mixture of thick mayo and ranch, and no real cucumber in sight. This establishment wasn't horrible, and the service was good but for an 11 dollar platter, I was underwhelmed and unimpressed. read more

In my opinion this is the second best gyro place in Clarksville. Definitely a good spot however that is nothing that'll beat my go to spot.

Thought I'd try them out But it was a huge mistake spent almost $50 in there and they didn't give me any sauce with my lamb salad so when I get home I'm totally disappointed plus they don't even give you pita bread. Who does that? I guess in Chicago. The funny thing is One of the employees was at the door holding sauce containers in their hand looking for someone they forgot to give it to before I got there next time I see that anywhere I will not go in. I Called them back to see if the would. Compensate me but they only offered me free French fries , really y'all suck. Never go there again. Two thumbs down. read more

Ordered Cali sub, super stingy with avocado, turkey and bacon. Had to double order. Nice employees though

The staff was wonderful and quick with our food. I ordered the philly steak combo and the person I was with ordered the lamb with fried rice and we got the sugar donuts as well. It was cheap our total came to $25 and change but the food was AWFUL. I was nauseous all night and eventually thew everything up. Thankfully not food poisoning but I def do NOT recommend. read more

They don't skimp out on their meats for the gyros or fries (the combo), definitely get your money's worth. Food is good and flavorful. Clean and friendly place too. read more

lunchtime favorite and they never disappoint. the bulgogi is probably my favorite but I've tried the whole menu and it's all spectacular

You definitely get your money's worth here!!! I had the lamb gyro platter. It was so good and the portion was huge!! I got it with the side of pita chips, it was a regular pita cut up into strips and deep fried. My husband got the catfish platter. It had 2 fish fillets deep fried and 4 chicken wings. It also had a huge pile of French fries and coleslaw. He said it was good and the fish was nice and flaky. My kids had the lamb gyros as a combo. The pitas were stuffed full of meat and toppings with a huge pile of fries and a cheese wonton. read more

First time here. Only thing I didn't like was how the food was slop together. I had everything falling out. Omg I felt like there was half of a onion from the start, even when I finished I had 12 slices of onions left. Seems like they put too much topping on. Check out the pics read more

Stopped in this evening for to go food. Clean and very friendly service. Ordered a lamb gyro and side of rice. Soooo much food. You get your monies worth. Tasted great!! They're also split with "California fresh subs." That's my go to sub shop! Ingredients are ALWAYS fresh, staff is always nice & they make the best dang sub from here to Clarksville read more

Those wontons tho! Sooooo yummy. I'd get a gyro without feta cheese because it's a bit salty otherwise. What a good place to eat!

It's really a 3.5 star rate so I just rounded up. My only complaint is the fact that they jam pack everything into that little freaking wrap thing! Like I took one bite and everything fell out. I liked the fact that for 10 bucks I got all that food but dang charge me 8 bucks and put less food in it so I don't have my gyro fall onto my table. I might as well have gotten the platter since I had to eat my food with a fork . Service was quick and efficient and the customer service was great as well just quick packing all that food in that tiny wrap! Or put it in a bigger wrap thing so the fillings don't fall out! read more

Chicken was gross. Thin, floppy, grey, tasteless. It grossed me out and ruined the gyro.

First time I've ever had a gyro and I'm not disappointed at all. I got the bulgogi gyro. Absolutely phenomenal. They were pretty understaffed and it was obvious. Tables weren't too clean, and the clerk started to panic somewhat when the line started to form. Bathroom was clean. I'm coming again. read more

The subs are absolutely AMAZING!!! A little on the expensive side but WELL worth it. And the staff are great. No matter how busy it is they always smile and ask how you are. Haven't tried the Gyros yet, but the subs are Great! A shout out to a lady there named Aisha. Beautiful smile and always happy read more

Poor customer service. Try to order just meat do to other sides they offer I can't eat . The employee said no she can't sell just that. She was more concerned on turned back to go gossiping with another employee. Obvious they don't care of the customers or generates money. I don't recommend this place read more
