Easily the WORST lash experience I have ever had. I very frequently get my lashes done and have…read morenever had an experience like this. The salon I usually go to was booked up, so I figured why not try somewhere new? Big mistake. The lash tech took forever (I was in the chair for 4 hours) and she glued my eyes shut not once but actually twice! After she finally finished the lashes looked terrible, absolutely not what I asked for and way too short. My natural lashes look longer with mascara than this "set" she put on. Clumps of glue everywhere and sparse lashes left all over my face. She asked me 4-5 times "you like it right?!" to which I responded with an unenthusiastic "yeah" because I was so mad I couldn't even talk about it and because I was beyond late after being stuck there way longer than anticipated. On top of all this dissatisfaction, she uncharged me an extra $40 at the end and asked for a second tip. I'm beyond upset and immediately made an appointment for my regular spa to clean up this horrible mess. I sincerely hope she can fix it.

I've done the fake lash extensions for years now and they just don't do it for me anymore. I also don't want to look like Mr. Snuffleupagus when I'm trying to look cute. If I do get falsies I'm lucky if they last a week. I've also done magnetic lashes too but those don't stay on well resulting in the corners being undone. I wanted my lashes to look as natural as possible with some curl to it. My lashes naturally lie flat and even with mascara, they don't appear to stand out. Lash perms can give your own lashes the extra curl needed. Most of all the perms last for at least a month! Odette was sweet, calm and patient with me given this was my first time doing this. She explained the process and checked in with me often since the perm solution they put on can cause mild stinging. I felt that but it didn't cause serious discomfort. In the days ahead, my eyes did crust up but what I was left with were a beautiful set of lashes that were of my own, just a bit enhanced to give you that va-va-va voom oomph to your look. If paired with eyelash primer and a coat of mascara, they stand out guaranteeing you won't get that Snuffleupagus aesthetic. I would definitely recommend lash perms for a special occasion/vacation. My session lasted an hour allowing for relaxation. In fact, I took a 20-minute nap while on the table! Parking is a breeze with Posh Beauty situated in a large strip mall with adequate free parking. I had an appt. with RUBA and she said, please give me a chance, so I did. I had an appt. today for 10:30 am and thought I would give this place a try. Ruba did a marvelous job on touch up. She superceded my thoughts and even went the extra mile for me which I genuinely appreciated her gift of hair dressing. She cut my hair nicely and styled it. I asked if First Time people get any kind of discount and she said no. I did see that they gave 20% off in 2019, but not sure if that was a limited time or not. I liked what Ruba did, so I decided to stay with her since she understood what I needed. I have been ripped off at other salons where they charge double and I thought this salon had fair prices. I was quoted $35 on the phone, and was told that would cover the cut plus wash and style. I got my hair shampooed and cut in about 30 minutes. The stylist blow-dried my hair a little, and wrapped up the session with my hair still partially wet. I found this very odd, but I was in a rush so I followed her to the front to pay up. The stylist then tried to charge me $10 more because my hair was long and thick. That kind of info should've been shared when I first called to inquire. Because I was busy and out the rest of the day, I didn't really get a chance to examine my haircut until the following morning. I will spare you the details and the photos. I was in complete and utter shock by what the stylist had done. I called the salon right away to explain what happened, and was told a manager would reach back out. They offered to fix it and I obliged. Coming back to get my hair fixed was already an inconvenience because I had a packed schedule. A different stylist tried to salvage my hair, but the damage was done and some parts I just have to grow out. I originally wanted 2 inches off, but after everything, they ended up cutting off more than double. Having worked in customer service before, I expected the staff to be a little more sympathetic and apologetic. I was very unsatisfied by how the situation was handled.

The first part comes yesterday when my wife and I needed a candle as part of a spa gift basket. This location came to mind and I told my wife "Let's go to Pearls". So we went there and purchased a candle then while I was there, I booked an eyebrow appointment in advance of a family wedding this weekend. The appointment was scheduled for today at 12:15p. I was told I was going to get an text confirmation about it. I never did but nonetheless, still arrived prior to 12:15p the following day. So I get there today at 12:10p and was told the esthetician was finishing up and would be out momentarily. I was invited to sit down on the couch and wait. I did then fast forward about 10-15 mins later, I believe it was the owner who apologized and said the same thing, she's finishing up. It was 12:40p - 25 minutes later, I decided to leave. Parking is next door and available along Lincoln avenue so no issues there. I don't have time for this and don't plan on visiting nor recommending to anyone in the future.
