I ended up needing to see Dr. Fedin after finding out some of my previous dental work needed more repair than anticipated. Fortunately Dr. Fedin was in office and able to get things rolling immediately. It didn't give me much time to truly evaluate my options, but that was completely my fault. Nothing worse than unexpected dental work, but I felt comfortable with his plan and his expert opinion. I cannot say the same for all dentist visits I have had in the past. The best part is I did not feel anything. Not one single thing, and for that I am grateful. What was even better was that I went home expecting for the numbness to wear off and feel terrible, but that never happened. I simply took some Tylenol and drifted off to sleep that night. I honestly still cant believe I did not have more pain. I have quite a few more visits to go to complete my plan of care, and for once I can say I don't dread my dentist appointment. If you are looking to get your oral health in order, I would 100% recommend this office! read more

Outstanding dental office which took over the office from my retiring Dr. Fiss. Dr. Fedin is terrific and kept key people from the office, like Shelly who cleans my teeth. They have expanded treatments like implants. There is a strong team that is caring and very pain conscious. They explain in detail what they are doing and the work I've had done has been flawless. read more

could not agree more their management is appalling! too sad the doctor does not want to accept - maybe that's what he wants ., was brought to his attention- and he was very dismissive . pathetic for medical field too sad he could do better if he maybe cared read more

My husband have a very bad experience with this dentist. He went for basic cleaning. After the cleaning the doctor came and examined his teeth. And everything was good. But after my husband went to reception to pay they charge him extra $70 for doctor examination. As patient my husband find this huge violation of trust. The office has responsibilities to inform patients as to what charges may apply and dr.Fedin came to him and with rising voice tell not to come back anymore. Dr. Fedin very aggressive and his behavior was very unprofessional. Also not truthful at worst they are trying to rip you off. I would not tell my worst enemy to go to him Please avoid this place read more

This office feels like a family. I've gone to them for over 5 years now and consistently have such a good experience. They are talented, thoughtful, and attentive - everything I want in a dentist! I tend to get anxious and claustrophobic at dentist appointments so finding the perfect match like this has been a blessing. read more

Do your research. I had been going to the same dentist for years. I relocated and came across this office. Man do I wish I didn't. On arrival, I learned that they "accept" insurance, which apparently means that they file the dental claim on your behalf. They recommended all sorts of dental work, asked for me to pay up front, and assured my dental insurance would reimburse me directly. This is a new process for me. They did not explain the process at all. And it has been an absolute nightmare. Five months later, numerous appeals, and I am still not made whole from my visit. They never even explained that my policy did not fully cover the recommended services before I agreed to the plan. So, if you do end up here, make sure to ask all of the questions. The hygienist was fine but there are plenty of good hygienists. Not worth the headache and all of the time spent learning the intricacies of dental insurance, terminology, and coverage. Or the hours of phone calls with your carrier. No trust for office either. Obviously, will not be going back. And as an explanation point to my frustration, I have never left a written review for anything before. read more

I visited the new location across from the Drake for the first time and it was really nice! I like the new location better than the old one. As always, ever staff member I interacted with were nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Before, during and after my last procedure I was told what to expect and that really made me comfortable. The doctor walked me through everything as it was happening so I was never caught off guard. I'm not the biggest fan of going to the dentists but everyone there goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. read more

summary: extremely unresponsive/unprofessional. didn't give me a treatment plan on site because they were busy. Promised to email me the treatment plan but 2 weeks and 2 follow up emails later, still absolutely nothing from them. I came in for a full check up and a routine cleaning, but after I told the dentist that my gum sometimes bleeds when I floss, he said I should get a deep cleaning instead and wouldn't let me have a regular cleaning (even though they are 2 separate procedures with 2 separate bill codes and a regular cleaning supplements the deep cleaning). They said they're understaffed that day, and I wonder if that's why they wouldn't let me have a regular cleaning. I wonder what did I waste an hour and a half of my life for? Isn't it illegal to be withholding my own dental records? Is it unethical to not let me have a routine tooth cleaning first, then get a second opinion on the deep cleaning, since if I were to do a deep cleaning, it won't be for at least another month since I'll be traveling? Can I not go for a second opinion first (I asked for a copy of my X-rays before I go to another doctor for a second opinion). Do I have a choice as a customer? Worst of all, 2 follow up emails after 2 weeks for them to actually do the work that I suspect they are billing for? Did they bill for a dental checkup even though they never gave me the diagnosis? read more

Dr. Fedin is awesome, and his staff make you feel like family. If I could give 10/5, I would. Long story short, due to a childhood injury, I needed to get veneers on my front two teeth. This was something I had known I would eventually have to do, but it didn't change how reluctant I was when the time came. I had never wanted to change how I looked, or look like I had "work done." Dr. Fedin understood my concerns, and that this procedure was not about vanity. He made me feel at ease, and he knew if I needed to have the procedure, I just wanted a better version of myself to come through--And that's exactly what he delivered. I'm not kidding: my veneers turned out EXACTLY the way I wanted--just a whiter version of my teeth, that is more proportioned to my mouth. I understand why they have called this office "dental arts"--Dr. Fedin is truly an artist! read more

Dr. Fedin and his team are wonderful! I was anxious about starting over with a new dentist after the retirement of Dr. Fiss, but after my very first visit, I am so grateful that Dr. Fiss had the confidence to place his patients' dental health into the hands of Dr. Fedin! He is professional, obviously highly skilled, and equally warm and compassionate. He clearly communicated his approach and welcomed my questions with thoughtful responses. I look forward to working with him for both my general dentistry as well as any future cosmetic needs. Most importantly, the best hygienist EVER--Shelly--stayed on staff, which says a great deal about her own confidence in her new boss! Thank you everyone! read more

STOLE MY MONEY, UNPROFESSIONAL, LACK OF SKILL. Don't go here. They provided me a quote for 2 options, crown or implant. Chose the cheaper option of the crown and was billed for the higher quote. Then took 4 months to get my reimbursement check - every time I called to check on this, they would tell me "we will look into it with the accountant". The WORST OF PART OF ALL OF ALL, was the actual work on my crown. It was so awful my mouth wouldn't close completely so I had to then go to an additional dentist because I didn't trust them to compete the work. This is the most transactional dental office I've ever seen. GO ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

Once you find a good dentist - stick to him! It took me a long time to find Dr Fedin and his crew and they are the keepers! Been coming here since 2009. Dr Fedin is attentive, highly knowledgeable, funny (it matters!) and I feel very confident about my oral health. His staff is super nice and very accommodating. Parrisa (hygienist) is absolutely wonderful and loves what she does and I love coming here for Cleanings. Highly recommend this office. I had an appointment on 9/19 at 11 am for a first time visit with . I arrived early to find out that nobody was in the office - their hours are 10-7. I thought somebody would come in last minute and nothing. I called as well while waiting like an idiot and no answer. I had never heard of this happening before and is extremely unprofessional and rude. They even sent out a few reminders of the appointment which seem taunting now. I took off work in vain for this and not even an apology has come from them. I would highly pass on them due to their unprofessionalism and lack of care about their patient's time. read more

Chicago Dental Arts - after 10 am and nobody in the office...I had an appointment at 11 am which they flaked on. - General Dentistry Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Excellent dentist. Very professional, outstanding work. Dr. Fedin explains everything in understandable detail. Very highly recommend.

I went there becasue Dr. Fedin bought his practice from my former dentist Dr. Fiss (who was a wonderful doctor BTW) but retired last year. Turned out not so great. While Dr. Fedin seems knowledgeable and has good bedside manner, the practice is extremely misleading and sketchy when it comes to financial matters. When i called to make an appointment and asked if they take my insurance, they said yes. At the initial appointment, Dr. looked at my OLD Xrays, from the previous visit and said he knows exactly what the problem is, and i will need an extraction. However, when I went to make an appointment for extraction, it turned out that i need to pay UPFRONTt for all services and they promised to file a claim with my insurance. Their prices are also outrageous. Charged me almost $400 (!!!) for a 5 min doctor consult using old XRays. Total cost for extraction almost $2K. Cost for new XRays and cleaning close to $1K. When hygienist started my cleaning (after I paid $1K!!) she said that she is a bit short on time will do a "light cleaning" and i will need to schedule a deeper cleaning next time (separate charge). I said that i just paid a $1K and there is no way she will do a "light cleaning" for that amount, to which she responded that she doesn't handle financial part. She ended up doing a full cleaning -- and did a very good job at that, but only after i pushed her. All in all - while they seem to do good work, not a great experience becasue you are constantly over-charged for every single move read more

As miserable as it is to get a crown Dr. Fedin and staff make it bearable. They are all kind, professional and welcoming. They are very careful and clean and now take extra precautions with Covid-19. Dr. Fedin clearly discussed a plan with no pressure to get my teeth in shape at a pace I was comfortable with. I highly recommend Chicago Dental Arts. read more

I love Chicago dental arts . They always make me feel so comfortable. So it's a good experience

This is my favorite dentist's office by far. The dentists and staff are really nice and the view is amazing. Recommend!

Terrible experience! Dr. Fedin told me I have many cavities that wasn't true (I double checked with few other dentists afterwards). Moreover, he suggested to place crowns to all my teeth with feelings which is ridiculous!! When I have started to ask him questions about the reason for crowns he yelled at me and walked away. Very unprofessional!Avoid this place!! read more

They actually don't take insurance, but they don't tell you that. They'd say they take insurance, but you have to pay the full amount during your visit, then they'd submit the claims for you, and the insurance send the reimbursement to you directly. But they never actually submit the claims for you, as in you'd probably have to do it yourself after calling them several times where they'd say they were going to do it but never did. That means they didn't take insurance though somehow wanting to manipulate you into thinking they did. Overpriced bad service in general, beware! read more

I had used Chicago Dental arts for the first time today. It was recommended to me by my mother, who had a cleaning there a couple of weeks ago. She came home raving about the experience. She said that her teeth had never felt cleaner and the experience had never been better. So I decide to give it a shot and went there for cleaning first before using them for a major work. Indeed everything was great. Very friendly staff, from the receptionist, the hygienist was very knowledgeable, explaining about my my dental problems and how to remedy some of them at home, the Dr. who came to meet me and do an initial exam. I highly recommend this place, my family will surely use it going forward! read more

I first came to Dr. Fedin office in 2016 for a consultation. Dr. Fedin was very knowledgeable and friendly. I came back to the office June 30, 2017, for a cleaning. The front desk staff are very nice and welcoming. The hygienist who did my x-rays and cleaning was very nice and knowledgeable as well. Dr. Fedin came in to speak with me about my next steps for a healthy oral care. I have to go back for a deep cleaning and a filling. He even offer me a discount, which is great because most offices don't do that. So far, I really like the office and Dr. Fedin. I will be going back in a few weeks for more services. I hope my experience continues to be great with this office. The only thing I didn't like was the office is not as modern as the last dental office I was going too. But the care so far as been the same top notch. read more

The docs and their assistants are wonderful and so friendly ! My teeth have never looked better !

I unfortunately made the mistake of buying a Groupon for this place thinking that I could save some money on a routine cleaning that I have done twice a year. I should have just payed the money and gone to my regular dentist instead. It was after being told by the hygienist that I "had a bad attitude" and her claiming that my previous dentist "must be a bad dentist" because I was never once in pain when he cleaned my teeth, that I decided to write this review, my first ever on yelp, I have never been so dissatisfied with service before in my life. I was berated by the hygienist for having "calcified plaque" like it was my fault that I had inconvenienced her because she had to clean it off, and when I winced from her poking at my gums she blamed me by saying that my "gums are receding and the root is exposed" which I knew was a bunch of crap since I have NEVER had anything wrong with my teeth, I don't even have one cavity and never had braces and I am 28. Of course the dentist said there was nothing wrong with my teeth. Not only was the hygienist aggressive in her attitude but also in her cleaning methods as I was jerked around in the chair from the way she was scrapping at my mouth, but the clerk at the front desk was also aggressive when I asked to take my x-rays with me. Do NOT give this business any money. This was the worst treatment I have ever received at a doctors office, and I have been to number of different doctors and I have been treated better at free clinics then at Chicago Dental Arts. It is never fun to do to the dentist, and this place makes the experience much worse. read more
