It has six stellar Five Star reviews by established Yelpers who have done other reviews, have lots of pictures including their own, so you can be pretty sure they are real, not friends or paid of accomplices of the business. First off, I was more than delighted to see that Moonlight Picture Framing has been in business since 1965, which for a South Florida business is a long, long time. Next, I was delighted with the shop, though small, super clean without any clutter to be seen and with an impressive stock in inventory. On first impressions you can see that they are capable of living up to their motto of "Anything you can think to frame....we can do." When we entered we were given a warm greeting then asked some pertinent question we hadn't thought about, such as whether clear glass or no gloss no reflective, and were given some good information as to which we should choose. Then some really good advice on frames and frame selection. Following the advice we made our selections and my friend picked it up a week later, and the workmanship was outstanding with outstanding mitering of the corners and overall superlative professional workmanship. We were both totally delighted with the work they performed and more than happy that we had followed the advice given to us in our selections of glass and frame.

I used Smith's for a previous framing job and wanted to give someone else a try. I called first to get a general sense of how much things would cost and spoke to Jason. My immediate impression was "wow, this guy's really enthusiastic and wants my business." He highly encouraged me to drop by with the piece to get an more accurate estimate. It took me another couple months before I had the time to drop by, but when I did, I was impressed by the frame and matte selection, as well as how truly friendly and genuine these guys are. Throughout the process of choosing a frame, matte, and glass, they never rushed me - I think I was there for at least 1.5 hours. After I made a decision, a random downpour outside made me stay longer and both Jason and his wife engaged another customer and I in a conversation about art, local artists, etc. They seem to have a finger on the local art pulse. I left that day and set a date in my calendar for when they said it would be done. They didn't disappoint. I received a call two days before my calendar alert and picked up my piece on time - three weeks from the day I dropped it off. My poster no longer looks like a $5 poster. Price-wise, I wasn't in complete sticker shock, as I know it has to cost something for materials and labor. I also upgraded to UV glass. What I appreciated was that they handled my $5 poster like a precious art piece, worked with me on pricing, and made me feel welcomed from the minute I stepped in the door.
