After leaving us to peruse the cocktail menu for a few minutes he returned with some waters (worth mentioning because this is not a given in Marseille), peanuts and a small sample of one of the cocktails. Very nice touch. I ordered the Moonshine Cobbler which was a well balanced whiskey cocktail and my friend had the Twelve Mile which I thought was delightfully sweet and sour. Definitely a good spot for a date night. Drinks are a bit pricey (€12-€16) but well worth it. Note: Reservation HIGHLY recommended even on a weeknight.

He was currently in Paris apparently at a competition! You can tell immediately when you walk in how cool this place is. It gave me a 20,000 leagues under the sea kinda vibe, low red under tones but not too dark, you can tell it's a bar/restaurant. Also excellent music, our waiter put on an Amy Winehouse playlist.
