As a venue, you have one fecking job. Just sell tickets either as standing or seated. The seated tickets have numbers. Wow, so simple right? A MESS of a place, awful staff and security, people left scrambling half way through the concert. Disgusting and will not be back.

Since it is not located in Brussels there are only a few options to get to the venue. First, by car (either your own car or Uber/taxi). Second, public transportation. If you are a tourist and are unfamiliar with the public transportation, the only way to get to the venue is either through Uber or Taxi. The other issue I had was that the venue is outdated, it definitely needs to be updated. Another problem is that since the venue is outdated the acoustics were off. Perhaps if they venue were to be updated the acoustics would be better!

We visited this stadium for a Belgium vs Sweden UEFA qualifier match. You have to enter the stadium…read morearound the area where your ticket is located. If you want food or beer you will have to preload money to a tap card that you have to purchase from there. The food was not good but the beer and our seats were. They also did not have much merchandise available to purchase but I was able to buy a cheap scarf. The match ended early and in a draw. In the end, it was not our best soccer stadium experience.

First of all it's one of those stadiums that has a track around it, which puts the fans a bit further away from the action. The atmosphere is usually very good with passionate fans and one of the few times when there are really Belgians and not just Flemish and Walloon people. On the outside, the front of the stadium is a big reddish brick wall. Call me a traditionalist but it just doesn't "feel" like a stadium. Don't let me put you off though; if you get to catch a game here (I just went to see Belgium vs. Macedonia a couple days ago), but all means do so because Belgium has a damn good team right now.

The stadium is still in decent shape although it could use a bit of a facelift. It originally opened in 1917 but did get a massive renovation back in 1983. Still, that's 35 years ago. It holds just over 28,000 thousand so a stadium that size, most seats are good seats. The fan shop is attached to the stadium and its a decent size where you can buy lots of souvenirs - shirts, scarves, mugs, keyrings, etc. It's also possible to buy a few beers (with alcohol) inside the stadium. What is nice though is just outside, going up the road to the right of where the fan shop is, there are a few bars and also burgers and sausages. The street is usually teeming with fans dressed in purple and white too so a really good, football atmosphere. You can usually get a game ticket on the day except for the big teams like Standard Liege and Club Brugge. The play-offs start in a couple weeks and so tickets will be difficult for that.
