This cute and dainty place has a great outdoor area for you to lounge around and enjoy your gelato, making it an amazing experience! The pricing of this place is very fair, and you can load up and try a variety of flavours given their big cup sizes. I ordered the four flavour size and happily chose blueberry, raspberry, strawberry and mango. In the Quebec region, blueberries are very popular and known to be the best, and the blueberry gelato did not disappoint. It was very fresh and tart and had a genuine fruit flavour. Mango and raspberry was the same. However, with strawberry, I could tell that it wasn't made with real fruit, but syrup or some artificial fruit. I would skip out on that flavour if I were you. I am a fruit lover myself, but they also had a wide selection of chocolate flavours! My friend got the Ferrero Rocher flavour and it was decadent and true to its name! I've had some of Vienna's best gelato, and this place can seriously match up to those flavours! Well done!

BOTTOM LINE: Your poutine pit-stop FTW!…read more I don't usually like to review places I've only gone to once, and may never return again (at least not for a long while), but I'll make an exception for this place because during my recent excursion through QC, this roadside diner had, quite possibly, one of the best poutines I've ever had. Anywhere. First, the fries tasted fresh, crispy, and were Goldilocks-sized (not too thin, not too thick). Second, cheese curds, and lots of it! Third, the gravy was really well done, and you can't have great poutine without getting the gravy right. It had a rich (but not too rich) flavour to it, and a nice viscosity. And finally, fourth, the portions were generous! I had the classic poutine, but they had the usual varieties you see in this region, including smoked meat and shrimp (crevettes). They also had the usual diner offerings you'd expect, but, like, whatever, just get the poutine. :)

The place was inexplicably crowded given how awful the food was, and the only explanation I can think is because it's the only Chinese food option in town. If you are in Jonquiere and REALLY need to have Chinese food, do yourself a favor and drive to Saguenay...or better yet, Quebec City.
