Sajna stocks the Lebanese beer Almarza (for a long time the only Lebanese beer); a delightful pilsner, probably the best Mediterranean beer I've tried. The takeaway carries over a little to the dine-in service --- we got wooden chairs with sequined pillows, but the food came on plastic trays with disposable silverware. Didn't affect the flavor at all, but perhaps not the most impressive place for a date. Didn't get a chance to try the pumpkin kibbeh; sounds interesting. Next time!

The store owner informed us that he was catering a wedding that day and would only sell us the food he had made for the wedding (there may have been something lost in translation).
