Though reservations are difficult to come by, frequency at the restaurant helps. When you reserve the table, you must reserve the number of chickens you'd like to consume during your visit. A helpful guide: 1 chicken/pair, 1 lamb/3 people, 1 steak/pair.
I find a 9:30 start to be the best time and tables with a direct sightline to the main attraction: the grill.
For starters don't miss the supple burrata and tomatoes so sweet you'd bet the reserve euros you packed that the chef soaked them in sugar water, as well as the pate with fresh grill marks (don't run away from this as the charcoal gives the page a must needed foundation where the crunch to smooth ratio emits that exact feeling you'd expect from Paris' L'Ami Louis foie gras).
Chicken, lamb, beef. Must do them all. Why not?
Request Dijon for the chicken.
Don't pass on the grilled potatoes. You will find delight with salt and ask for Creme fraiche. You're welcome.
For dessert, double espresso (you're near Cannes aren't you?!), fresh fruit, berries and the huge pot of Creme fraiche so beautiful you will for sure photograph it (smile enthusiastically and the waitstaff won't mind. Don't use a flash .... Come on).
It's beyond memorable. Call now. //foodpaparazzi
