Walked in greeted by a lovely hound called Jacque. He was a little spaniel of some sort. ( I'm not really a dog genus and species sort of guy) I like pit bulls , being from watts. Anyways, sat down with my lady friend and ordered a glenny on the rocks. The barkeep was very friendly and helped me through my bad french. She then offered me a cigarette and lit me up. They have a good selection for fair prices, even offering a bottle of champ for something like 45 bones. That was enough for me to give this place the highly sought after Colbee 5 star rating. I cannot explain it all; you just have to go. The food is the main thing when you go out to eat, of course. I started with a kir, but not the Normandy version which I had before and it is nothing more than cassis with some local sparkling cider. I had one of the galettes. Galettes are, I guess you can say, like crepes but brown, so guessing wheat based?! No clue, really. But this one was delicious. It's flat, then filled with cheese, ham, some other interesting stuff and also a fried egg. Loved it! Also, it was quite a size so did fill me up. Might have to find that place again tomorrow!
