Wok Way, unlike many others in this city gets it so right. This small unassuming restaurant seems a favourite of Chinese expats or French-Chinese families - always great sign of a restaurant's authenticity. I ordered the wok of tofu (another rare sight in bordeaux) and leeks on rice. It was absolutely amazing the friendly staff even made a few suggestions when I asked for help with the menu. The fried dumplings were from a freezer bag at the supermarket and cooked into hard little rocks. The rice (at 8pm on a Friday) was completely dried from lunch or maybe yesterday. I can only guess the people giving all the great ratings have no familiarity with any of these cuisines and this is some kind of "exotic" food to them. It's just terrible.
