"It couldn't be that bad" we said. It was not bad at all! The entire atmosphere was as French as it gets, the bar person greeted us with "I am full tonight" and we said "what about the bar?". He said "the bar is free" so we rolled in. The bar person explained the whole menu to us, paired our wines with our tastes and treated us to nice conversations. Turned out the bar person was the owner. His service to the entire restaurant is like an entire experience to be had. He served the whole place, 20 tables and 5 bar seats, by himself. There were 2 chefs, and they rolled out dishes every 5 minutes. The small menu helped them. The food was amazing. The bruschetta was my favorite, although the pork dish was my second favorite. I was definitely in food heaven in a French movie filmed during the night. I will forever remember!

We decided to keep it simple. Wine & Cheese. There was a bit of a language barrier while ordering. Luckily, I remembered the word, Fromage, from French class in high school. She brought us a platter of various cheeses, fig jelly, bread, & a glass of wine. It was amazing. The cheeses & jelly were delicious. There were about 8 or 9 different types of cheese. The wine was the best I've had in a while. I don't drink a lot of French wines because we have so many great reds here in the states, but that wine made me realize I should buy more French. It had a fruity taste that lingered. It went perfectly with the food. It was a little on the pricey end, but the quality made it well worth the cost. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

I was so full by the time I finished them that I had a bit of trouble making my way through my Lamb Shank entrée. It was lamb roasted with shallots, root vegetables, and a wine sauce, but the meat was a bit over-cooked, salty, and dry. I probably should have chosen a lighter dish. At first, the plate looked random. A random tomato, a random onion. Random things. But, they were cooked in a unique way- almost candied. The food is great and the place is fun. My only complaint would be the lack of ventilation is the worst I have experienced, and smoke normally does not effect me.
