Absolutely phenomenal, amazing, delicious, and creative meal…read more Pros: -The food was very, very good. We ordered the big meals that come on the butcher blocks "Les Grillades." I got the beef fillet and it was extremely tender and perfectly cooked. I ordered it with the optional sauce and it made all the difference (my mouth is watering thinking about it). -The side dishes that came with my beef fillet are what really sets it apart. At first, the plate looked random. A random tomato, a random onion. Random things. But, they were cooked in a unique way- almost candied. Somehow, it all worked really well with the steak, sauce, and other sides. -They do have an English menu Cons: -Service was just ok. He said he didn't speak English, which was perfectly fine by us. We can get by with French and Google Translate. However, half-way through the dinner he starts speaking English. I just got the impression they like to bust the tourists' balls. -It's very cramped in there and seating is limited. Get a reservation.

The bruschetta was excellent, the aubergine on top well-seasoned, the bread itself crisp. The beef was cooked to perfection and served on rustic wooden boards with a lovingly presented array of sides - a baked tomato, a jacket potato, carrot mousse and crunchy greens. Can definitely and highly recommend.

Downsides: you have to order inside at the bar. Not a big deal? Well it is when there are at least twenty five other people trying to do it at the same time. Upside is, you pay when you order, so once you're finished, you can just take off. No waiting for the bill. Downside... it's a BAR. More than likely after ordering your food and first drink you are not going to be done. You're gonna want another beer. Another cocktail. One more app. So then you have to wait in line again.. and by this time it's only gotten longer. C'est la vie. The fish and chips were surprisingly fantastic. Good crisp on the outside, and the fish was flaky and moist. Mozz sticks were "eh" and they were not served with the classic marinara sauce.. but a smoky red pepper sauce that lacked flavor. The chicken tenders are anything but tender and look like they came frozen and prepackaged. But the pizza looked cheesy and well made. (Didn't get to try it.) So I supposed it all depends on what you're in the mood for.
