We decided to keep it simple. Wine & Cheese. There was a bit of a language barrier while ordering. Luckily, I remembered the word, Fromage, from French class in high school. She brought us a platter of various cheeses, fig jelly, bread, & a glass of wine. It was amazing. The cheeses & jelly were delicious. There were about 8 or 9 different types of cheese. The wine was the best I've had in a while. I don't drink a lot of French wines because we have so many great reds here in the states, but that wine made me realize I should buy more French. It had a fruity taste that lingered. It went perfectly with the food. It was a little on the pricey end, but the quality made it well worth the cost. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We arrived promptly at the location and our table was ready for us immediately in a private section of the restaurant. What a great start was my initial thought....unfortunately, this place did not live up the service and quality that I expected. My largest complaint about this place is the time it took for us to even place our orders. At least an hour and a half went by. This included multiple reminders by myself and another person in my group to the hostess that we were waiting. We would have probably left if we had not all been so invested in this restaurant already. Having already waited so long, we didn't believe we could get a table anywhere else at such short notice. When we finally placed our orders, we also ordered a bottle of wine. Because the hostess was in such a rush, she actually ended up smashing the bottle a mere few feet from us (the wine cooler was stationed next to our table). Glass was everywhere, and it took time for them to sweep it up. To top it off, we ordered razor clams that never got to our table. We asked the hostess to check on them since they had never arrived, and she stated that they were preparing them as we were speaking. A few minutes later, she returned and stated that they were out of them... The only reason that I am not giving this place one star is that of two reasons: 1. After the hostess destroyed the bottle, she gave us a bottle, as well as some roasted potatoes on the house. 2. The food is actually good here; however, it's definitely not worth waiting almost two hours to order. Overall, a memorable mixed experience. I read a review elsewhere (Tripadvisor perhaps) where the person was upset because the menu was mostly sardine related, and I honestly have no idea how that escaped them, but they're right. So, if you don't like sardines, your options are sort of limited here.
