Unless you don't mind eating outside in the dark with all the smokers. Second....expect to wait a long time. This isn't a fast food restaurant so grab a beer and wait 45/60 min to get your food. Third... Switzerland is very expensive so this restaurant is no different. 2 burgers, 2 alcoholic drinks, and French fries were 98CHF which is pretty much 100 bucks. They have 3 sauces for you to try. Ketchup- Tasted like marinara sauce. BBQ- Tasted like smokey ketchup. 1000 island. Tasted normal. Burgers were great. They were juicy and delicious. Animal Style French Fries were a good try. Def not like the original but so far from home it was a nice find. This restaurant isn't for Americans. Way too expensive for what we eat all the time but I compare this place to the Melting Pot in the US. That place is so overpriced but it's amazing to get your cheese fondue fix. I can't imagine Swiss people coming to the US and eating at our expensive version of cheese fondue. Service was ok. It was super busy so can't really complain but I could tell our waiter was super annoyed with our audacity of showing up , with no reservation, and willingness to wait. And for some dumb reason you can't order "The Threesome" (or Hattrick) with a group of 5 people. 4 apparently is ok but we had 5. Cannot imagine why if 3 people order the same thing it's an inconvenience for the restaurant but DON'T DO IT or again your waiter will show his annoyance.

We happened upon it just by looking up restaurants close to our hotel and it wound up being our favorite place we ate in our whole 10 days in Switzerland! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. When you walk up, there are tables and chairs throughout the walkway and then an entire open area of tables off of the outside bar for a fun hangout. The building appears to be an old house turned restaurant and is so beautiful on the outside and so warm and inviting on the inside. The menu had accommodations for everyone - which is so nice as I am a lactose intolerant pescatarian! I got the beetroot and black bean burger both nights I was there and it was to die for!! I ate the entire thing both nights and just wanted more (it was a big burger though)!! I also had a watermelon spritz which was so refreshing! You can tell the owners/workers get to know their regulars as I saw them stopping by tables and chatting - which was just so fun to see! If you're in Zurich, I highly recommend popping by! My only regret was that I never saved room for the brownie dessert!

The buffalo wings were tasty and quite spicy, so if you don't enjoy a higher spice level... this wouldn't be for you. The restaurant was crowded but the service was swift. Since it was my first time at a Hooters in Switzerland, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was relieved the chicken wings tasted much like the ones served up by Hooters in the US. We ordered a mix of BBQ, mild, medium, hot, 911, and Daytona...200+ wings all in all. Also got 4 side orders of curly fries, and 4 plates of celery sticks. Washed it all down with 5 pitchers of beer. While they were all pretty good, the Daytona wings stood out from the rest in my opinion. The waitress was attentive to our party and kept the wings coming and the pitchers of beer flowing. The bill for 14 people was 346 fr total. which was quite reasonable I think. Definitely a great spot for a large group night out without breaking the bank.

That being said, this place is a cute mix of nostalgia with a modern twist. There are three burger options for beef eaters - I went with the middle one, Swiss Angus beef single patty ($22) which is topped with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The pickles are more like cucumbers that are less marinated but still tasty. Cheese and other toppings are extra. I added Swiss cheese because why not? Also went with the garlic mayonnaise. Let me say this was one of the tastiest burgers. The quality of meat and cheese was phenomenal. I could taste the difference between an average fast food burger and this premium dish. The fries were also good (another add-on cost), thick cut and freshly fried. They have an American beer selection from Brooklyn Brewery. I also saw them prepare a crazy fancy shake. It will not be a thick shake like you find in the US, more of a chocolate milk with toppings. I opted to skip it after my large meal. Ambiance is nice, on the street corner, open with a good view of passerby's. Service is quick for Europe and moderately friendly, depending on your server. I did notice a lot of staff just standing around (maybe a slow night). Overall you will enjoy a fine meal here.

This is one of the better and least pretentious meals I've had all week including a McD burger that had a nasty red pepper yogurt dressing for 15 CHF. PJ's is much better and fresher than an Applebee's. I didn't try the ribs so I can't compare to a Chilis. I would say the food is closer to a Red Robin for quality and taste. Portions are generous as well. Like everything else about Zurich it's expensive for what you get.

The flour soft shells were fresh, the pulled pork was tasty but COLD. I had a glass of decent Pino Grigio. My husband had tap water. Our waiter never came back to check on us. Beautiful large upholstered pink bench for accommodating guests to enjoy good Swiss cuisine. To the right, you will find beautiful bar area, filled with... you guessed it, more pink flowers. The atmosphere is relaxing with great staff helping you decide on Swiss menu items. In the middle of the cafe, you will find additional tables with chairs that's where I enjoyed my Swiss cuisine. I ordered, "CONSEQUENT SALMON," breadbasket, butter, jam, sliced cheese and fruits, salmon and rösti. My meal tasted great and it was pleasant to sit, relax and take time to really enjoy all the flavors. I would certainly recommend this place and look forward returning. The seating is comfortable and plush (maybe microfiber?). Music is very 90s r&b. I'm not sure if it's the general vibe or just the particular day we went, but it was enjoyable for me. Service Attentive, but not overbearing. Someone offered us several available tables as we stepped in to choose from. The wait staff showed us the wifi code and their menu is offered as a qr code to view on your phone. We were given enough space and time to go over the menu and she answered any questions we had. Food I got the pink velvet macchiato, which was very rich in coffee flavor, even with the tall glass of milk. The mixed colors were still pretty. I got the Turkish breakfast, which is pretty large, so definitely arrive hungry. There was a combination of sweet and savory in this meal - a small skillet of tomatoes and egg, two different kinds of sausage (one larger, sliced and pan fried to be crispy, while the other is pink, soft, delicate and came in 3 small ones), a hard boiled egg, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, sheep's cheese similar to feta, a side of bread, butter, and jam, tea, baklava, and a little rose gummy dessert. The combination of textures and flavors were wonderful, but the bread was a little on the crunchy side, when i would have preferred soft. The baklawa was filled with pistachios, had a lovely pastry crust, but wasn't overly sweet. The pink, gummy sweet had a hint of rose, so it wasn't overpowering and it didn't stick to your teeth afterwards, so it was a perfect ending to a meal. I didn't get to try the farmer's breakfast other than the beans, but my friend was satisfied with the meal.
