Cheyenne Dental Group is currently a practice with a single dentist named Dr. Baca. She and her dental staff are conscientious and skilled professionals. I have been a patient there for several years and have always been pleased with their work. Dr. Baca is the third dentist I have seen at this location since 2022. Unfortunately, Dr. Baca does not do root canals and refers those to be done at the main office, Image Dental. Dr. Tran is the owner of Cheyenne and Image Dental. I don't believe Dr. Tran actually works at the Image Dental office but he does visit the Cheyenne Dental location once a week to perform root canals. In mid February, Dr. Baca referred my wife to Image Dental for two root canals procedures and her experience there was HORRIBLE!!! Dr. Tran apparently employs one dentist and several dental assistants there. The practice is run like a dental school with one overwhelmed dentist and several dental assistants who appear to be students in training. During my wife's two visits there neither of us ever saw Dr. Tran. The dentist who performed the root canals left much of the work to be done by the incompetent dental assistants. The dentist was obviously overwhelmed as she constantly went from room to room to check on the work being performed by the dental assistants on other patients. After four visits over a seven week period and FIVE attempts to scan my wife's mouth for proper measurement of the crowns, she was finally able to have the crown placement completed at Cheyenne Dental, NOT Image Dental. Bottom line, Cheyenne Dental provides limited but quality dental care. If you need anything related to root canals or other more extensive dental work, stay away from Dr. Tran and anyone associated with the Image Dental location. It's nothing more than a poorly supervised dental school with very incompetent and overwhelmed staff. read more

Long story short, these people made me wait for an hour and a half sitting on a dental chair. They then discussed how much I'll have to pay . I told them that I'm only there for cleaning and they kept on hammering me with expenses . Insurance verification specialist was really rude and told me to make payment first before they start working on me . Made me stand up and go to the counter because I only had Apple Pay . Dental assistant are also rude and loud as they talk endlessly in the open hallway . DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTAL OFFICE. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THE MONEY. BELIEVE ME. STAY AWAY. read more

My experience at Cheyenne Dental has unfortunately been bad every time I have gone in. I tried them out two years ago and decided not to go back due to the low quality of customer care and the lack of respect for patient's time. I'm currently pregnant and was told by my OBGYN to make dental care a priority so I decided to give Cheyenne Dental a second chance. I called to schedule an appointment with no answer, waited for a callback, and after not hearing back I proceeded to scheduled online. I rearranged my work schedule to free up my morning and woke up early to a text from the office at 6:30 a.m. which requested me to fill out paperwork prior to my appointment. I filled it out to avoid taking extra time in the office. This time it seemed to be going smoothly but when I arrived the receptionist question me about making the appointment online. She then proceeded to informed me that there was no one there to assist me and I would have to wait for someone to arrive. When I asked how long it would take I was told that consultation usually take an hour and a half but she didn't know how long it would take for someone to get there. I could either wait out an unknown timeframe or reschedule. I reluctantly decided to rescheduled. It was difficult to get the time I needed to go in again but I managed to work something out with my job. When I arrived for my rescheduled appointment I was given an estimate of what I would be charged with a treatment plan total of $149 and was simply asked how I would like to pay for my portion. This was before I ever did any treatment. I found this odd but paid for the consultation. I was taken to the back by staff sat down in their chair and was told to come back and make an appointment after I gave birth with no treatment done. It wasn't until I asked for an itemized checklist of what I was getting charged that the receptionist told me they would not sent out my details to insurance but I was never refunded my copay. Once again I found that Cheyenne Dental had a lack of respect for my time and overall lack of respect for me as a customer. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend Cheyenne Dental. read more

I just wanted a cleaning and quoted $3k for other services. Some people can only afford so much.

My husband and I both had root canals done at Cheyenne dental. Both of them got infections under the crown, both crowns have fallen off. They refuse to honor warranties or their own work and because of their incompetence I now need a bone graft to repair damage done by the raging infection caused by the ineptitude of the practitioners in this office!!!! Maddy is my hygienist, and I am so lucky to have someone like her to do my cleanings! She is absolutely amazing at what she does. Very detailed and kind. She always remembers me and the events I have happening in my life. It's as if I have a friend as my hygienist, and I only see her twice a year for my cleanings. Thank you Maddy for being so awesome. Had a poor experience here. Went in for something simple and they tried to talk us into multiple procedures that would have cost thousands of dollars. They sent the finance team in to talk with us before doing anything, while my husband was in pain, which felt very uncompassionate and money hungry. Will not go back. Do not recommend unless you have lots of money to spend. read more

I went to this dentist and everything was about sales. Trying to offer procedures to get the most billing possible. I had a few issues that needed addressing and saved money to pay in cash. They took the cash, and proceeded to bill my insurance for extra, leaving my insurance for the year used up until next year, and I still have some work to do. Calling them to try to fix it with rude people in their billing department was a nightmare and it's still unresolved. So frustrating! read more

If I could give a minus one star to this dental office I would. I should have known to run the other way when they were hesitant to tell me cost of deep clean over the phone when apparently the website offer of $40 of exam and cleaning really doesnt cover cleaning at all. Front desk wasnt aware of of the website offer .The streamline discount membership is useless .The cost of fillngs were still high despite streamline discount . was told I had unlimited visits , access to my dental records etc. When I asked for records I was told i had to pay another $95 which based on Hippa is excessive Doctor Tounian is very dismissive and unprofessional . Arvin is a true professional. Puts you at ease when your in the chair. Is honest and upfront with you about what needs to be done. Doesnt preach to you about your habits. Makes sure your comfortable before starting a procedure and makes it quick and painless. His staff is very nice, also competent in there roles within the company and make sure you understand what's going on and how to treat or care for your teeth after your procedure. I'm incredibly upset with the customer service here. The woman I spoke with over the phone was incredibly rude. She spoke over everything that I said. Wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. When I went in for an appointment in August you guys had all your information incorrect, every family member was listed wrong and the names were even missspelt! It took like 30 minutes for you to figure your crap out before I could even check in for my appointment. I'm never coming back for a service here again! read more

Just a quick yearly update. Another year down and Cheyenne Dental Group is still my go to for dental work or check up. I've had work done by both Dr. Tran and Dr. Mehregan. Dr. Tran continues to do masterful work and Dr. Mehregan has grown a lot from my first visit as her patient. I don't even know where to begin. I don't get upset easily but am disappointed with CDG. I was going to get services done and got my Financials in check in order to go through with my procedures..now that I've shopped around I found a better price but not before I agreed to my finances first.(my fualt) Now I've been trying to cancel some loans through there credit companies and get ahold of them to pay what I do owe..it's been over 2 weeks! read more

I have been coming here almost 4 years I think. Everyone here are professional and friendly. I never have to wait long for an appointment. The scheduling is easy and you get reminders via text. Services they offer are dental implants, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, root canal and many more. I had missed my appointment one time because when you schedule it and they ask you if it's confirmed and when you say yes, you don't get a reminder. I forgot so I was charged $15. Anyhow, just becareful! :) The place is clean and the service is efficient. Overall a great dental experience, the Doctor (Dr. Lee ) is so easygoing and welcomes any questions about treatment. The office has TVs where they play Netflix movies to keep you busy :). I am happy with their service! read more

I absolutely love this place. They are very nice and they do a great job of communicating. They seem to really care about their patients and has a family owned feeling. It is clean place. The front desk personnel are very friendly and do a great job communicating. The dental hygienist are very knowledgeable, caring, and take time to explain to you what they are seeing in a way that it is easy to comprehend. The dentists seem to work efficiently with the hygienist and always have asked to make sure you are still comfortable as they work and take the time to answer any questions. Everyone treats you like a person and an individual and not a name on their schedule. I feel like they all do a great job with my teeth as well. I would recommend Cheyenne Dental to everyone. I can't say enough about how great this place is and how professional these ladies are. I had to have a tooth removed. I was in alot of pain and I'm kinda a big baby. They were so concerned with my comfort the entire time. I was asked if I'm ok countless times and I felt that they were genuinely concerned with my well being. They explained all my options and were so nice to me. I'm embarrassed by the condition of my teeth, but was made to feel so comfortable by these awesome ladies. I really don't want to do this review because I actually have had a great experience at Cheyenne Dental in the past (check out my past reviews) but service has definitely gone downhill. There's been a lot of staff changes and the once familiar faces that I've come to rely on are no longer there. The last visit my kids had I was told our insurance covered everything which is why I said yes to the procedures to begin with but come to find out they weren't covered and now I have a balance I was unaware of. To make matters worse, the several times I have made an appointment for myself, and that appointment date comes, they seem to not have me on the schedule after all. That's happened to me three times. And sadly just now, I tried making appointments for both of my kids and the lady said I had to pay my balance first, which I was unaware of, and when I tried to make a payment, she couldn't process it. And she also informed me that she couldn't book any appointments for my kids till the balance was paid. So they couldn't process my payment but need payment before I can make appointments? I then proceeded to ask if there was even any appts available and there wasn't any so I asked if I could be called if an availability came up. She said they don't do that. Can a patient feel more unwanted? This lady was not trying to make this easy at all. So needless to say I'm not very happy. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Tounian and Dr. Tran based on past experiences. Unfortunately, based on this last conversation and some of the appointments they didn't actually put me down for as well as being told my insurance would cover things but they actually don't and then wanting payment but won't take my payment over the phone, I think I'll take myself and my kids elsewhere. I absolutely love this place! I've been to a few dental offices and they are by far the best. From the first day I came I knew they had a patient for life. Dr. Tounian is the best. He takes his time to explain everything and makes sure you feel good about what is going to be done next. He laid out a plan for treatment so I knew exactly what to expect. Not only is Dr. Tounian great the staff is awesome as well. Stella goes over all the insurance stuff with you and breaks it down easily so you know exactly what you're paying for and what the insurance is paying for. Good job, Cheyanne Dental! I was initially referred to Cheyenne Dental by my husband who is a hard critic to begin with but found Dr. Tounian to be both skilled and a down to earth. After receiving my evaluation and treatment plan, I trusted Dr. Tounian's advice since I could tell he was invested in addressing my overall health as well as cosmetic concerns. I loved the staff who were very friendly and accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure all of my insurance information was submitted well in advance saving me over $300 in out of pocket costs had they not done so. They were very flexible with my schedule despite my numerous re-schedules. Overall I felt like I received 5 star treatment and none of my appointments lasted more than an hour which allowed me to utilize my day. Attention VEGAS! Get your pearly whites all white...and pearly! Dr. Tran is a fantastic dentist that puts his patients at ease, the very moment they walk in the door. Couple things that really make the Dr. and his practice stand out. 1. He does his homework. When you are a new patient, he asks plenty of questions, and he really reads all the information you fill out. He uses this to help you...not to judge you. 2. He doesn't have the "car dealer" mentality that many dentists in town seem to have. He isn't in it to make a quick buck at your expense. He is in it to make sure that you are taken care of. It shows by the way he, and his staff conduct themselves...particularly when it's time to come up with a treatment plan. 3. The office is a smooth, safe, warm environment. Yeah, you can watch movies while you wait. Yes, there is an awesome waterfall type thing as you enter. It's amazing. But there is a certain element of awesome when you enter. THIS is your spot. In a search for a trustworthy, honest, caring dentist I put my feelers out to my fellow Yelpers and found Cheyenne Dental and let me tell you, you didn't let me down. Sure, some say I am hard to please, but I was pleased to find them. Everyone in this office is fun, professional and caring. After emailing them I received a call right away and was scheduled very soon after. My visit went great and they spent the time to explain everything to me. I even got the best cleaning I have had in years of living in the Valley. It was nice to go somewhere that people knew what they were doing. Went in for a checkup on Wednesday. Saw the great reviews and hey, it is cheap for the checkup! But with insurance, I didn't have to pay anything for the first visit. It was actually pretty nice, I had scheduled for 3pm since I got off of work at 2pm, but that day I ended up getting off work early and as I drove home, they called to see if I wanted to go in early. Perfect! Got there, filled out paperwork. They already knew who I was as I walked in the door. Got me back right away. And they had 50 First Dates playing to keep me busy! The x-ray thing is uncomfortable, but the girl did the best she could do get them done quickly. Then I saw Dr. Cheng (the female dentist) and she was really nice. She was knowledgable and explained everything to me after the exam. The cleaning was quick and painless. Going back in 2 weeks for fillings, so I'll let you know how that goes! But for now, I would give it 4 stars. Good clean facilities, good location (Next to Sushi Bomb!) and great customer service.. very efficient. We will see how the fills go! Hopefully painless. Dr. Tran is very pleasant, gentle, and really takes the time to listen to his patients. He and his friendly staff provide as calming a dental experience as I can imagine. I have a lot of work that needs to be done, and he has really taken the time to listen to me, and fully explain all of my options. Even though I wouldn't call my tooth extraction a "pleasant experience", I'm glad I went here to do it... Also, they have a flat screen monitor mounted on the wall in front of your chair that allows you to watch a movie while they're drillin' ya. I have had many dentists through the years but I can honestly say Dr Tounian is by far the Best! Not only is he an amazing professional and highly qualified... he is the most honest and fair Dr in the profession. I wanted expensive veneers, I insisted but Dr Tounian explained that it was t needed and that spending the money when my teeth were white and near perfect... he suggested I save the money. His honesty truthfulness and fairness is quite refreshing! He puts the patient before dollars, he really cares about you and your health and well being. Personable, professional, and punctual. My first trip to Cheyenne Dental Group was pleasant and, dare I say, relaxing, despite the presence of loud, whining instruments and needles! The staff did their best to create and maintain a calm environment, which I appreciated. My hygienist, Jennifer, was fantastic; she asked me if I had any problem areas or concerns and she obviously listened because she was more than attentive to my sensitive areas. Dr. Tran was super friendly and described what he was going to do to my teeth based on my x-rays pics and suggested a timeline for keeping my pearly whites, er, white. Perhaps the best and most surprising aspect about my visit here was the office's punctuality. My appointment was for 10am and after filling out the requisite "new patient" forms, I was escorted to my dental chair at 10:05am. Had I been quicker to fill out the forms, I'm sure I would have started my appointment even sooner. It is a sad state of affairs when I list "punctuality" as a standout trait for a dentist's office, but as most of us know too well, promptness and swiftness are not adjectives often used to describe medical appointments. I'm so glad I listened to my yelp peeps and decided to go here. All staff with whom I interacted were genuinely likable and professional. Xrays were also taken because I wanted to discuss the possibility of veneers (I have Invisalign but I'm super lazy with it...I know, bad.) The hygienists were very careful with me and the xrays and cleaning went so easily. If there were a ZERO star option, I would have picked it! At first, this place seemed like a good idea. New dentist, new practice, a $40 all inclusive special when I had no insurance, etc. The receptionist, Samantha, seemed very nice, so, she gets 2 stars, but the service here, SUCKS. I'll explain. I just moved to Las Vegas from NY 2 months ago and was looking for a dentist. This one is right near my house and it got good reviews on here, so I decided to give them a try. The first question the Dr. asked me when he looked in my mouth is if I ever considered braces. I told him no. My teeth are relatively straight. In fact, Rosie, the hygienist, had WAY worse looking teeth than I did. She was nice also though. So my story is that I have 4 relatively large, amalgam fillings on my left side. 2 up, 2 down, both in molars. Dr. Tran's recommendation was $2400 worth of replacement fillings for all of my teeth. This seemed bizarre as I know that amalgam fillings are typically used to bigger cavities and tend to hold up better than their "tooth colored" counterparts. I did, however, feel as though I got a good cleaning and it was done by the dentist, which you don't see very often anymore. Anyway, today I called my dentist back in NY who told me that replacing all my fillings was unnecessary and seeing as how I was just there less than 6 months ago, there is no way my teeth could have gotten THAT bad. I went to a new dentist today and he was right on with my old dentist in stating that there were nothing wrong with my fillings, and, in fact, if he were to remove them and put in porcelain or resin-composite, my teeth would be MORE sensitive than they are and I would probably end up with nerve damage seeing as how my cavities were all pretty deep. So, save your time and money and go see Dr. Ruper @ Boston Dental on W. Lake Mead near Jack in the Box. You'll be happy! read more

So i visited this dental office few days ago since i had a really bad toothache. I googled newrby dental offices and called all of them but none of them gave me an appointment and told me they are all booked , even tho i told them i am in so much pain, i was kind of dissapointed because i felt that no one cares Untill i called to this Dental office and they got me in next day for consultation, they took an xray and The Dr took a look and did consult.advised me that i have severe infection going on and need to be on antibiotcs and then come back for treatment. They gave me antibiotics and painkillerd and i was scheduled in advance for my treatment day. Best Dentist in Las vegas you guys and best dental office Besides that they understood my situation they also were so nice and friendly and i felt that they care about patients and not the money. I chose Cheyenne Dental because they accept my insurance. Previously, I had been seen by a number of different dentists and hygienists, mostly for cleanings. In the past, I would always receive glowing comments from the dentists and hygienists; the last one 6 months ago said I barely needed the regular cleaning. However, when I visited Cheyenne Dental for the first time, the dentist said I needed a deep cleaning at a cost of nearly $600 (not covered by my insurance). When I discussed this with the front desk the woman said sarcastically "Well, there is a first time for everything." I went ahead with the deep-cleaning because I had already paid for it; It took less time than my normal cleaning (no polishing because of COVID). I feel like I was taken advantage of because I was a new patient. Be skeptical. read more

Very friendly staff. I found them here on Yelp and will continue going to them every 6 months. My 4 year old was really scared at first but they have TV monitors that play cartoons and they're great with kids.
