Overall the staff was very friendly, and the interior is nicely decorated, but they miss the mark on several occasions with scheduling. One time they sent my son's retainers to their other location without notifying us. On another appointment, I took my kids out from school early, only to find out their appointment was canceled. They didn't even notify us either. Overall, the service is subpar, but they did their job and my kids got their braces. There are many other orthodontics in Vegas, so maybe do some research before choosing this place. read more

I am special needs and have autism. I was a patient at Aloha Orthodontics since 2019. I've always liked this place until recently. I went to get a new set of retainers, before I never had any issues but this time I did. I had to go back two or three times because they kept being wrong, not fitting as they should, and I kept specifying the problem and what I wanted in my retainer. Then the staff kept telling me different information such as I needed an appointment to pick up my retainer, I didn't need an appointment, & then they would give me a call when they were ready for pickup. The staff displays a great deal of incompetence. I'm not sure what has happened the past few years but the level of care that I once received no longer exists. They also don't know how to handle patients with special needs such as Autism & are required to do so by law. Then I go and try to speak to a supervisor about all of my concerns, and they said the office manager was in a meeting. I got the impression that they don't want to deal with a patient's concerns and sweep it under the rug like it never happened. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm highly disappointed with the patient care and treatment that I have received. Do not go here! read more

Dr C, Shelly, and staff are amazing. Went in just for a consultation for my daughter and ended up leaving with braces. As soon as you walk in it's like a party- they have the music going and everyone, including the staff & patients, looks like they're having a great time. You can tell the employees love what they do and that made me comfortable enough to trust them with my daughters journey to straight teeth. Once I walked in I was greeted immediately by the front desk and they checked our temps. After my daughter took her pictures and x-rays I met with Shelly, the treatment coordinator, who went over Dr C's diagnosis and plan for the braces. She was very thorough, detailed, and answered all my questions. It just felt right to start the process and she made it a very simple to get everything started. The pricing was also great and very fair- they do their best to find a payment plan that works for you. After all the paperwork was completed, I met with Dr. C and he immediately seemed so caring and knowledgeable as he explained the plan to me as my daughter was getting her braces put on. My daughter left there all smiles. She loves her braces and loves everyone who assisted her at this location. As soon as she walked in, she looked at me and told me this location is where she wants to be. Would not recommend this place. Removed braces due to tx completed and practically look the same as when i started maybe even worst cause they moved down a tooth upper front making 1 tooth look bigger then the other :(. Informed the dr i was not happy and he stated i needed multiple teeth removed if i wanted them perfect. So if this was recommended for a nice smile why not inform me when i got my consultation & started tx? Got other consultations after the removal of my brace's and all other orthodontist can fix with no removal of teeth and agree that absolutely no teeth pulling are needed . Just some small twitches to get the smile i want . When i told this to aloha he said he can also do that with but will need to charge . ??? How is this even okay ? Only reason they have so many good reviews is they offer u aloha bucks if u make reviews and follow them. I hate ever doing bad reviews but this was pretty bad i paid so much for nothing. So far I've done 24 trays with my dentist before switching over to Aloha, then I did 39 more trays, then 21 more, now 10 more... I went there for Invisalign in March 2023. Was told my teeth would be done in Nov/Dec 2023. Just "finished" in July 2024 and my teeth still are not fixed. I went for one tooth to be fixed as it was slightly turning. Unfortunately I paid 6 grand and my problem seems to only be worse. My bite is worse than it was when I started. Unfortunately I now ran out of time and am moving out of state so I am stuck with my teeth pretty much exactly how they were and suffered with Invisalign for over a year. Don't recommend. I told them I was unhappy with my results and they just said they would send me my permanent trays to my new address in another state. Had to pay $15 for shipping too. Like the 6 grand probably should've covered that. read more

Front staff were friendly gave me some paper work to fill out. When it was my turn to go in I was greeted by Kayla she took some X rays and we had a nice chat at that time. What I liked most about Kayla she made you welcomed and made sure that I was comfortable during whole time I was in the chair. Very unprofessional, while there are some really great dental assistants/techs here, overall I cannot say the same about the practice. Poor communication with the front desk and the actual dental staff. As a patient you cannot be more than 10 minutes late for an appointmen, but they will let you wait more than 35 minutes because they are short staffed. They are not considerate at all of their patient's time and tend to overbook appointments. In case you're wondering, they do not apologize when they are at fault. This has been the third time that I've had an incident here and nothing was said or done to make up for it. Also they like to look at your reviews and then reward with you with their "aloha bucks" system after it's posted, so take most of these 5 star reviews with a grain of salt. I am willing to bet you will get better customer service at other locations with a more realistic rating who do not micromanage the reviews. read more

I got my braces off around 5 years ago and this location didn't exist yet. Recently, my retainer broke so I had to come in for a new one. I was kind of nervous to come back in and especially to a new location (something about doctors, dentists, orthodontists etc. always make me nervous and on top of that I wasn't familiar with the location). As soon as I walked in, I completely relaxed. It has the same welcoming vibes as the Summerlin location and of course a very warm and welcoming staff. It was such a quick and painless process of getting a new retainer. I got my molds re-done, updated photos and new x rays. The next day (today), I picked my new retainers up and I was in and out in like 5 minutes! I will recommend Aloha to everyone forever! read more

I started my invisalign trearment here over a year ago. Most of my appointments are on the weekend as I teach during the week but they have apts I believe Mon-Sat. Time: The big ticket appointments take no more than an hour. 90% of my appointments take less than 30 minutes. In and out. Esteem: My teeth have never looked better and my confidence about my smile has skyrocketed. Environment: The atmosphere is laid back so even as an adult you don't feel silly coming to get you braces checked and asking for CUTE colores bands too. Staff: Ladies in the front are kind and respectful. Every dental assistant I've met has been a pleasure to work with. Dr. C THINKS he's so funny...no no seriously he's the best. Honest and caring. He even hooked me up with a Vegas contact during our "how yah doin?" conversation. Price: A bit more than I had in CA...and I was BUMMED when I couldn't transfer my treatment plan (and money spent) from Cali to Vegas. I paid about $5,000 but...everyone's treatment is DIFFERENT and will vary depending on your needs and wants. Don't play yourself trying to take this review in as a quote. Pro: We agreed on Invisalign because I was over metal and it has been a pleasure. If I need a break...I take them off. If I want popcorn and/or steak...I rip them out to enjoy the Deliciousness that is POPCORN & STEAK. Overall: Want straight teeth in an environment you like being in, around folks you can trust with your smile...? Aloha is your place. read more

So, after about two and a half years of Invisalign, I am done with the treatment. I am not going to say "finally" done with the treatment, because that sounds as if it was a pain, and it was far from that. The experience couldn't have been any better. Here's my story: Sometime near 1988 or so, I had traditional braces, the new clear(er) ceramic type that were less visible than the chrome steel look that many orthodontic braces were being made of back then. I didn't have too bad of an experience and it was obviously with another doctor. Two years of monthly visits to change the bands and wires and I was done. My mistake was not wearing the provided retainer every night as I should have. So about three or four years ago, I was noticing a bit of movement in my two upper front teeth, which was causing me to occasionally bite my lower lip when I ate. I thought about braces again, but didn't really know if I actually wanted to go through the process. The lip biting was aggravating, so I decided to go ahead and consider my options. My search began for an orthodontist and Yelp was the resource I used. I figured, if I was going to have to go there monthly (as I did in the past), I wanted somewhere close to where I live. Aloha Orthodontics popped up in the search as being fairly close, so I made an appointment. Counting on fellow Yelpers for help, I also looked for the negative reviews and found none. Every single review was 5 stars!! I thought, no way, every business on Yelp has a bad review. Nope. Not Aloha Orthodontics. Not then, anyway. Major plus at that point. So my appointment day came and on the first day I went into the office, the experience was made very comfortable for me. I could tell everyone in the office seemed to be happy with being there and I could hear a guy, who I would later find out was Dr Chelian, running around the treatment room having friendly conversations with the patients and his staff and treating and conducting examinations on his patients. I could also tell he was a very busy guy. This was encouraging. So the process was explained to me, preliminary examinations were done, future appointments were made, and I was back in for orthodontic braces again. This time, however, after my treatment options were explained, I chose Invisalign. The big difference with Invisalign- I didn't have to come back every month and I could eat what I wanted for every meal. My return schedule was more like every three months, so that was good. But every visit, it felt like I was a friend seeing friends, and every visit was just as good as the last. I never had any concerns about my treatment, the cleanliness of the facilities, or the competency of anyone there. So as the months went by, I could tell the process was working and my teeth were getting back to where they needed to be. At a point I thought I was done, which was about two years after I started, Dr C said (well something like), "Nope. I am not satisfied and I can do better." He wanted me to leave with perfection (well as close to that as it can be with me anyway), and did some minor refinements to get it to the point he wanted it to and where I would be happier with. I was already, but perfectionism is obviously a good thing for an orthodontist to have. The refinements were perfect. So my treatment is done there, but the experience will not be forgotten. This time, I will wear my retainer though. The point of this long and boring story (to some of you, haaa) is this: Aloha Orthodontics would be the first place I would go back to if I needed to do it again (hopefully I won't :-)) and the first place I would recommend to anyone else needing an orthodontist (I have). Another thing about me is that I am far older (late 50's) than most of his patients, but apparently teeth straitening procedures aren't just for kids. I am incredibly happy with the results, all of my teeth are straight/aligned again, and the best thing for me, my lower lip isn't swollen from the constant biting anymore. :-) Thank you, Dr Chelian, and every one else in your office!!
