So I've been a loyal customer here for years. Service isn't the best and the watch you but it's a gas station. Recently, I've gone in almost every night for months after my restaurant job...meaning Im still in my uniform and apron. Tonight, I opened the fridge to get something and saw it had gone up considerably and decided to go somewhere else. Before I could leave I was stopped with hostility and accusations of me stealing. Went here tonight a young rude kid named Chris was working. He had the doors locked and was sweeping. It was 11:53pm. It is supposed to be open till 12. I knocked on the window he came to the door and started cussing at me. Told me to leave he's closed I showed him my phone it said 11:55pm at this point. He said he didn't care asked if I was gonna pay his over time and kept talking shit at me! Really?? Glad I didn't buy gas first! Hope he gets some retraining on when he is supposed to lock up. We were verbally accosted by the owner/manager of this store. I was checking my fluids when an employee politely asked us to not work on the car, because the owner was upset. I let him know I was checking my oil and would be leaving shortly, after purchasing gas and coffee (over 40 dollars spent -- a frequent stop for us). After this, my sister went inside and told the owner that we were regulars and it was inappropriate to rush us like that. He responded completely out of proportion, and began verbally berating us, saying: "Get off my property, f*ck you!" This continued as he harassed us out of the store, including such verbal assaults as "mother f*cker". We will also be filing a report with the Watsonville Police, making a complaint with the city and off course pursuing all online means of exposing this horrible person for what he is: an abusive bully with a little bit of power. Went this morning for a car wash and found the buckets with old water and yes that busted brush the other reviewer had mentioned from yesterday. Walked back into the gas station and asked if they could change the water. The guy was super nice and didn't even hesitate to go and change the water!! By the time I got in line for car wash there was new super sudzy water and yessssss he brought out a new brush to replace the broken one that I didn't even mention hahaha. Wow! Asked if they had new brushes to use in the car wash area and was told they had new brushes. Paid for the wash and found one brush, worn out in one of the buckets. Went in the back door and asked for a brush to pre wash the car and was told to wait out side, I shouldn't be in the back room.....went out side with the manager behind me and told him the brush wasn't any good and I tossed it to a pile of boxes outside the back door..He snapped at me "don't f---Ing throw that." I told him that they need to have decent brushes to pre wash and an argument ensued. He went back inside and cancelled the wash that I had paid for, so I had to go back in the store and get a refund. Too bad they want to treat people like that. It is too easy to supply a good brush for the customer to prewash the cars. I can't believe a franchise of this size would allow its doors to open 10-15 minutes late every Monday morning? The two stars are because the store is clean and looks new. Pricing on the other hand is out of control high. A soda refill costs more then a new soda at most places. I will take my money elsewhere. Stopped by here on my way down to Monterey to pump gas and used the restroom. Clerk was nice , there's a few fast food places inside but when I went to use the restroom, oh my god! It was disgusting!!!! Footprints all over the floor like mud, urinal was in awkward position near entrance door- everyone can see your business and there was no soap or paper towels to dry my hands... This has to be the worst bathroom ever next to a hole in the ground ... The place is extremely busy but they have to keep up with the cleanliness and this made me think twice about eating food inside ... Best of luck ! read more

Been going here for sometime now play the lottery and by gas and cigarettes there. After showing up everyday u get to know all the employees and they know u. Felt welcomed everyday. Of course things are never what they seem. The owner koss seemed genuine and very friendly. Come to find out he hates his customers and cares about only one thing money!!! It's all a show on his behalf! I choose not to reveal my source for that persons protection but when I was told that koss Hayes my guts I was literally blown away!!! I'm probably the nicest person you'll ever meet. I don't usually let things like this get to me but this one was hard pill to swallow. His employees are fantastic but because he's such an asshole I will no longer patronize his store. If u don't like someone don't be two faced koss!!!!! I feel sorry for u!!!! U lost a good customer pal!!! I was wondering why you have such a high turnover rate for employees!! But now I know!!! Good riddance!!!!! And one more thing, when u hit on the lottery the retailer who sold the ticket gets a percentage. I am Furious with these people. They have a complete scam going on with their car wash. I drive in with my company vehicle right underneath the height limit bar with no problem. I do not see any sign that says no trucks with racks. I drive into the car wash and the Machine arm gets stuck on my car rack barely all it does is touch it and stop the machine stops so I backup an inch and the Machine arm raises above truck truck height all by itself the machine is not turn back on and a lady comes out saying you broke the machine you're going to pay for it immediately I asked her what can't you just reset it she says no I need your insurance information and your driver's license. Now today 3 days later my employer calls me and ask me what happened with the car wash that the employees there are saying I destroyed their car wash office destroyed how come it was up and running an hour later. My fiance's coworker said the same thing happened to him at that car wash. But he didn't stop and get the information he took off drove away I say everyone needs to boycott this scam I'm a hard-working young man just trying to make a living and they want to get me fired for a simple mistake parrot.
