Gone are the days when all gas stations in Mexico were run my Pemex. Now, you'll see a bunch of new gas stations throughout Mexico, with some brands being well-known in the US, and others not.
During my last visit in Tijuana, I needed to fill up my tank before heading back to LA. I stopped by this station, as it was closest to my route back home. I pulled up, and one of the workers tended to me immediately. I told him to fill up my tank, and that I would pay with Amex (Please note: not all stations take Amex, so make sure they take your method of payment before they fill up you tank).
Prices here are a bit lower than in the US, still being cheaper to fill up here than in California. If you're on a budget, just keep in mind that their prices are by-the-liter, and a good general conversion rate is 20 pesos per dollar.
Gas stations in Baja are full-service, they will also wipe your windshield, and add any fluids your car may need. This stations doesn't have a convenience store, but does have a restroom, if you need a quick pit stop.
This place is clean, efficiently run, and staffed with friendly workers. Five stars. read more
