The windshield washer buckets are always full with plenty of soap, and the big trash cans make it easy to clean out the car. Inside, this Flying J has pretty much everything: Taco Bell, Cinnabon, sandwiches, tons of drinks, a lounge area, showers, and clean bathrooms. Super convenient for a quick break. There's also a Jack in the Box next door, and local vendors often sell tacos, honey, and veggies nearby. Great stop all around -- reliable charging, lots of food options, and easy in‑and‑out.

As the pump was going, I noticed that there's a teeny weeny sign next to the gigantic sign. Upon closer examination, I realized that the big sign shows the cash price while the little sign shows the much higher credit card price. But, by then, it was too late. Don't make the same mistake we did. Skip this Shell and its petty trickery. There are other gas stations with lower credit card prices just a few miles away.
