We…read moreplaced an order for a Chicken Caesar Wrap without croutons on a spinach tortilla and The Cabana Club on white bread. We were given a wait time, but honestly it was unclear if she said 13 mins or 30 mins. Regardless, as previously mentioned we were used to a 20 minute wait anyway, so that's why we call ahead and then kill some time with the drive over. We arrived exactly at noon. There were three other parties ahead of us. The woman at the counter noticed a new face (me) and asked if I wanted to place an order. I told her I already did a phone order, but would take the ticket up to the register to pay. While waiting for our order, I heard the three women behind the counter saying a number of times "no croutons," so I really appreciated that they wanted to make sure my order was accurate and they were following my special request. At 12:11pm, we received our order and received multiple apologies for the wait time. I, personally, didn't find the wait time to be horrendous, but maybe because I was mentally prepared for it. I could appreciated the customer service though! When we got home, I unwrapped my Caesar wrap and it was perfect. No croutons (as I had asked), and the chicken was warm while the rest was cold and refreshing. It was a yummy combo. I do wish that they had used some romaine lettuce as most caesar salads have, rather than the shredded lettuce, but oh well - it was still good. Later that night, I wanted to try my partner's Cabana Club, and that sandwich made me question if I ordered the right sandwich because that was super tasty too! Every time we've visited Papa's Deli their sandwiches are always stacked. I really like how they don't skimp here. It feels like they really use high quality ingredients, and I think it's a great price for the quality and quantity of food provided. The only con I have for this place is that parking seems to be a bit difficult. It always seems like it's either hard to find a spot, or the parking spots are really tight in this plaza.

I've had a lot of sandwiches in my days roaming the earth and eating things so I feel I'm kind of an expert on the subject matter. The roast beef is super tender without all the nasty chewy parts you get in other meats, it's absolutely delicious. Ms Ruth puts in the perfect amount of condiments so you're not overwhelmed with one flavor over another. It's something that you just have to go and try for yourself. That being said, they have a giant selection of other sandwiches. The portions are very large and enough to split so go with a friend or take a couple home for the family and cut them up the way you want. There's abundant parking but limited seating so many people get them to go. It's in Seco Mini Market so the selection of chips and drinks is more than enough to make you happy.

(And my total is free so it's not like I have to actually "checkout" they just have to scan it indicating you picked it up). I also recently filled a few prescriptions here for my dad. They told us it would be ready same day so I went back around 3pm to grab them. One was ready to go but the other one was partially filled and they told me I can come back tomorrow to grab the second one. Ok that's fine but why not just call to let me know the issue instead of driving all the way back down here again? Also when it was ready the next day they never called to let you know to pickup your order, I had to call to ask if it was ready. They have our number and email so why is it so hard to let your customers know when their medication is filled?? I will say though besides all the common sense issues, the staff and pharmacist are all really nice. Parking lot is big, drive thru for pharmacy around back.

Goddamn you Circle K Wetzel's Pretzels, you robbed me blind…read more I was fighting extreme hunger today and decided to stop somewhere on the way to my acting class to grab something as quick as possible. I was desperate, and brought 8 bucks worth of cash since I wasn't about to dive further into credit card debt. I was planning on getting a lemonade and another snack if I had the money but remembered that this is the only damn Circle K in the entire area that doesn't have lemonade. However, there was a wetzel's pretzels inside with lemonade. I ordered a small bag of mini-pretzels from the clearly disgruntled employee running it, and then all of a sudden, all my cash was GONE. No room for lemonade, they might've charged 2 dollars for that. in inflation times, this may seem like a reasonable price for pretzels. Think again. I could get a single cheeseburger with animal style fries at In-N-Out for the same price. I was in shock. Even worse, I can feel the pure fiery hatred radiating from the guy who works here. I bet he was upset that he was charging 8 bucks for a small bag of pretzels as well. As I write this, I still burn with hatred for my cash lost on those mediocre pretzels in these trying times. Nothing at a gas station should cost 8 dollars on its own. A wetzel's pretzels, therefore, does not belong inside this establishment.

My wife, who is 42, wasn't allowed to buy a lottery ticket because she didn't have ID. Fine--maybe that's the rule. But then I, a 36-year-old with grey hair and a full beard, was denied a lighter because I didn't show ID. The cashier insisted it was "state law," which is completely false. You don't even need to be 18 to buy a lighter in California. The staff here move like they're in slow motion and act like they've never been trained. It's like walking into a break room at a retirement home where no one knows what's going on. I'm all for protecting kids from adult products--but that's not what this is.
