I was planning on getting a lemonade and another snack if I had the money but remembered that this is the only damn Circle K in the entire area that doesn't have lemonade. However, there was a wetzel's pretzels inside with lemonade. I ordered a small bag of mini-pretzels from the clearly disgruntled employee running it, and then all of a sudden, all my cash was GONE. No room for lemonade, they might've charged 2 dollars for that. in inflation times, this may seem like a reasonable price for pretzels. Think again. I could get a single cheeseburger with animal style fries at In-N-Out for the same price. I was in shock. Even worse, I can feel the pure fiery hatred radiating from the guy who works here. I bet he was upset that he was charging 8 bucks for a small bag of pretzels as well. As I write this, I still burn with hatred for my cash lost on those mediocre pretzels in these trying times.
