I wasn't feeling well before a one hour drive home after a restaurant and the two men behind the counter let me use the restroom with no issue. I thanked them and headed home. Just stopped here for the car wash, and the first go through with the lunar wash barely cleaned my car at all.. ok so I go inside and let the cashier know, I requested a refund and she offered a code for another go in the car wash. I thought this was a fair solution so I said cool and went another round. Well the 2nd round cleaned my car all right. Cleaned my car so hard my antenna snapped apart and now I get to replace that. Only reason this review isn't 1 star is because the cashier tried to make it right when I wasn't happy with the first service. So if you're looking for a car wash, don't go here cause your car might not get cleaned--in fact parts may even get destroyed! read more

A lot of people seem to have an issue with the restroom here. I had no problem, just told them we were filling up our tank and they gave me a token and I was in the restroom after a long drive. We went here while on a road trip and immediately noticed how long the gas took to fill up. It took around 20 minutes to fill up 21 gallons of gas. Then, we took the pump out and gas leaked on the ground and on the side of the car. Do not recommend. read more

The quality of car wash received is worth the extra cash but the slow as snails pace knocks it's rating down a few. Expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes on weekend mornings, but the time is not shaved off much after work. If you see it empty but it's not time for a car wash, pull in anyway and take advantage of the lack o line. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped at this gas station on the way to Monterey Bay to get more gas. It is one of the few gas stations that has a bathroom customers can use. I was going to give this place 5 stars until some other weird stuff happened while I was there. We decided to get some snacks too while we were there. I did not realize they were cash only until I got up to the cashier and thankfully we had some in the car. Not sure why they were cash only since most places aren't using cash due to COVID. One of the employees then asked my boyfriend if he was filling up my gas tank since they were closing it down, which did not make sense. As he rang up our items, I told him my boyfriend is getting cash from the car. He, then, tells me he locked the entrance door so I had to open it for him when he comes back in. Then, a customer (possibly a homeless man) came in asking for cigar and the employee said no. The customer after me asked to get gas and the cashier said cash only so that also did not make sense to me since the other guy earlier said they were closing it down. Lastly, when we went back outside, there were a few homeless people just chillin outside. I think the employee closed the door so the homeless do not come in, but other customers still need to come in so I don't think that was a good idea. It was just a lot of odd situations happening when I was there and did not feel safe. I would come back here just to use as a quick bathroom stop, then, go to a different gas station for gas or other items. read more

This place has horrible service. The managers Rekha was telling couple tourist that they had to buy something to use the restroom. Fair enough, but the tourist were sad about it, however the manager insisted on saying how nothing's free and how they have to pay to use something. This is called bad customer service, you don't insist on making the customer feel as if they are wrong the whole time. You just guide them on what is right. You can't just say your opinion when you work in service related places. For living in SB in four years, these managers should know better to at least be kind to customers when explaining something not just yell and so this is how WE do it etc. (As I was coming out one of the car wash employees told me that the manager was wrong and that they don't like working here.) I don't give one stars often but it just bothered me on how they treated non customers and customers. read more

I always stop here to get gas but on this one particular morning I forgot my purse and I was on empty with my gas. In a panic trying to figure out how I was going to get gas with no money or cards or purse that I had forgotten. Mateo and Alejandra came to my rescue!!!! They were both so helpful and so sweet. Mateo had asked Alejandra if I could Venmo her $40 while she gave me $40 to fill up. I was sooooo unbelievably thankful for their kindness and all their help. Thank you so much you two!! First things first, I really don't understand all the negative comments about this gas station/ mini mart! They have a wonderful selection of beer and food/medicine; thus, they have almost everything you need here! The even have a taco truck in the evening. I come to the station about 3 to 4 times a week. Their customer service is amazing :) this is why I decide to come here then go across the street to 711! Keep up the good work guys! read more

Once i picked out a sneakers bar and a soda i was told i needed to pay a fee for purchases under $10. I spoke with the receptionist about the fact that charging for credit card fees is against most credit card processors guidelines he responded "I Don't Care, Report Me!" I drive past this gas station everyday on my way to work, now i cross the street to 711 and fill up my gas somewhere else. Avoid doing business with this greedy people. read more

Super rude! I was waiting in line at the pump but had to use the restroom and I wasn't going to be able to wait till after I filled up. I was told I have to be a customer first and to come back after I had purchased the gas. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Using a restroom is a basic human need, not a want or whim. When a traveler a long way from home needs to find a bathroom, a gas station is the likeliest choice. To be strongarmed into giving someone money in return for providing a basic service to your target customer seems like a very I'll advised way to run your business. Shame on you. I stopped by here on the way from Pismo with my 2 daughters (10 and 12) my 12 year old has autism and needed to go to the bathroom very badly. this was the only place i could see without having an accident (as well as it was her time of the month). I pulled in and ran with my girls in tow and used the restroom. i also was very grateful and wanted to buy some lottery tickets. i could have just walked out. i got dirty looks waiting for my time to purchase 2 $5 lottery tickets. the gentleman in front of me was chatting it up with them ( we also had about 5 people waiting behind me) then when i got to the counter, the owner (husband and wife) did not even look at me, greet me or say A THING TO ME. RUDE!!! i bought the tickets and said thank you and she said NOTHING. I said thank you again and she just looked at me. I am in the customer service industry and would normally just shrug it off. i was already anxious enough running in there to use the bathroom. Above and beyond the best station! I accidentally threw $300 in the trash and called the manager that nite. He took my number and said he would have the guys look for it in the morning. Yes! i did get a call back. The guys found the bills, returned them to the manager and he sent me a cashiers check for the amount!! Bad customer service. I purchase gas there 4 times a month but will be going somewhere else now. I just filled up two days ago. Today I needed air in one tire and they refused to give my son the courtesy air. The female attendant told him he had to purchase more gas. Awful. The parking lot and gas tank area is SO tiny. It's hard to maneuver about the area, let alone try to pull in when there is a line. If you can hit it when it's not peak hours then great! The car wash is rarely open- which is a bummer. read more

What a rip off! Do not stop by and drive around. Not only is the gas overpriced, so is the mini market. Every item in the mini market is jacked up 20% more then any market in Santa Barbara. The car wash had a solution that scratched my clear coat. I had to find a separate gas station that sold a polymer repair, not cheap, so my car was shiny again. Please avoid!! read more

Was driving thru Santa Barbra when I stumbled across a chevron that had a car wash a I pulled in the price seemed to be a little high. $45 dollars for a car wash inside and out. At this point I am considering wheather it was worth it. By the time I showed up from stopping by the local brew house for a quick beer I found 4 guys working on my Jeep. I am consistently impressed by the selection in this Chevron. I've yet to go inside looking for something and not found it. They manage to carry everything. Running late to a baby shower I managed to purchase a few baby bottles, and diaper pins to top off my gift while picking up a bottle of wine. On Christmas they had the tin foil and the two lemons I needed, and late at night my husband grabs me chocolates, and ice cream. The couple that own the shop are very friendly, and work very hard to insure their customers are pleased. I'm a big fan. read more

Rudest people I have ever encountered! While pumping gas I took my son to the restroom and a kind bystander pointed out where the key was for the restroom. As my son went to the bathroom the stupid lady at the counter says "what number are you" to which I reply im not sure my fiance is pumping the gas and I did not look at the number. She says "than you can't use this bathroom until you give me the number!" With an attitude! My reply "than look out the window where u see the uhaul parked, that is us." She states " I will not look out the window" which by the way is to the right of her. Her stupid husband comes out and starts talking crap to me also, something about answer her question and didn't you read the sign. Honestly I was so pissed off to have encountered such an experience, just to use the bathroom! I hope they go out of business! If you have to use this gas station make sure you know your pump number or your going to be sh#t out of luck or you can plan on having an encounter just like mine. read more
