I have visited QuikTrip locations from Atlanta to Kansas City and throughout the country, and the…read morestores in Central Texas--especially the San Antonio market--consistently fall far below the QT standard I have experienced elsewhere. Today's visit to QuikTrip #04016 at 6461 Bandera Road in Leon Valley was especially disgusting. The restroom had wet and dirty floors, trash overflowing from the towel bin, a used drink cup and paper around the toilet, and soiled clothing and tissues left across the baby-changing station. QuikTrip markets itself with "fresh QT food" and the slogan "QT. More than a gas station." Yet this location prepares and sells food while allowing a customer restroom to remain in this condition. That raises serious concerns about the cleanliness standards being enforced throughout the store. I have previously reported the poor conditions at San Antonio-area QT locations to the local office. Nothing appears to have changed, and I have seen no meaningful improvement. This is not consistent with the clean, well-managed QuikTrip stores I have visited in other markets. QT should stop treating repeated complaints as isolated incidents and investigate the management and sanitation standards across its San Antonio market. Customers purchasing prepared food should be able to trust that basic cleanliness is being taken seriously.

It's easy to access from the intersection of Babcock and Wurzbach, caddy-corner to a now defunct fire station. Their ice is in smaller bags than other places, and priced high. That ain't cool. Their gas is competitively priced. The service was aloof, but quick. The gas station isn't clean- the pump area had litter, and looked like a lot of stuff has been spilled here. However, there is in a nice parking area in the back to enjoy the Turkish cuisine.

Yes, the lines can get long, especially during peak hours, but that's simply a reflection of how good the prices are. The wait is usually worth the savings, and the lines tend to move steadily. Fueling up is also convenient. You can pay right at the pump using your physical Sam's Club membership card or simply scan your membership through the Sam's Club app, making the process quick and easy. If saving money on gas is a priority, Sam's Club Fuel is hard to beat. Affordable prices, convenient payment options, and a valuable membership benefit keep me coming back.

It's so much easier than waiting in line to checkout. The second thing I like about Sam's is ordering online. I can place my order in the comfort of my home and pull up curbside and retrieve my order. It's SO convenient. Last but certainly not least, I like their products--cases of beverages, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, clothing and so much more. There's quite a lot of products you can buy in bulk to keep you stocked up. They are very good about returns. It can take awhile waiting in line, but there's usually no issues. I love how they keep up with technology. The scan n go, the quick lines. For that reason, I much prefer shopping at Sam's than the other warehouse store.

It's in the middle of a bunch of ethnic restaurants and foreign grocers by the Medical Center. I've found that the gas is still cheaper just a little bit up the hill at the Valero. But this place is clean, clean, clean. It's spotless! It always seems to be picked up, and the bathrooms are rather clean. I like how they have a full (help yourself) bar for coffee drinks- with nitro cold coffee that puts the local coffee shops on the run. My fav thing about these gas stations is the name brand condiment station, where you can get the fancy stuff - Grey Poupon in little yellow packets, or Cholula hot sauce- Grab handfuls, because this is the good stuff! Murphy is always the cheapest gas, and I always come here to get the gas if I can. I absolutely love it. We go to San Antonio a lot because we have family there, or rather Barbi does, and we definitely think that they are the cheapest gas in town, and not just by a couple of cents, but usually by quite a lot. There are about eight locations that we use regularly and several others that we have used once or twice. This is one of our regulars and it's never really full. Except maybe at rush hour.

These stations are located at just about ever Wal-Mart you'll come across here in San Antonio. Pull in, fill up, grab a soda or a snack, get out. A few of these places also have car washes just in case to mood strikes. Not a whole lot else going on. Most Murphy's have a small walk-up window while others have larger walk-in stories. This one is pretty small. That being said, all the usual snacks and drinks are on offer as are basic car necessities like oil, wiper fluid, and other assorted fluids for your truck or car. They also sell ice. Anyway, Murphy USA, like I said, usually has cheap gas or at least cheaper than the other gas stations in the vicinity. Of course, if there is an HEB nearby, the HEB will usually match Murphy's price. Oh, one last thing, just like HEB, Murphy will go cheap gas campaigns where if you purchase gas using a Wal-Mart card, you get it for .10 less per gallon.

Never had a problem with the pumps or pay at the pump feature working as they should. You should note that due to the proximity to the Huebner & Fredericksburg intersection the traffic is quite heavy along the entrance/exit most times of the day (7am to 7pm). It's near impossible to make a left onto Huebner because of traffic and the placement of a few telephone poles, a billboard, and other signs make exiting to the right (with the flow of traffic) difficult as well. I usually don't use this station during the day because of this.

So while your vehicle slurps gas, grab a drink as well and indulge yourself indoors. I think the gas prices are modest. It's not on the super cheap end(wish it was though) like some wholesale clubs, nor is it a rip off. There are 4 lanes for gasing up and the entrance is off of Callahan Rd and the highway's access road. Overall, just your average gas station.
