Today I asked why and they told me "the machines are broken". I seriously doubt that. I believe it is a ploy just to get people inside so they will buy something while they are in there. All I know is it is extremely inconvenient for a "convenience store". I will be buying gas elsewhere.

Opening hours on the weekday says 6am but I've driven up at 5:55am and there were already people pumping gas. This mini-mart may not look like much on the outside but the owner is pretty awesome with his funny sense of humor. He made me laugh & smile BOTH times I went in to fill up with gas and pick up snacks and drinks. The gas at the time was $1.789/gallon when average prices in the area was +$0.05-0.12 cents or more. The average price of items in the convenience store seemed reasonable too.

Yes, the lines can get long, especially during peak hours, but that's simply a reflection of how good the prices are. The wait is usually worth the savings, and the lines tend to move steadily. Fueling up is also convenient. You can pay right at the pump using your physical Sam's Club membership card or simply scan your membership through the Sam's Club app, making the process quick and easy. If saving money on gas is a priority, Sam's Club Fuel is hard to beat. Affordable prices, convenient payment options, and a valuable membership benefit keep me coming back.

It's so much easier than waiting in line to checkout. The second thing I like about Sam's is ordering online. Last but certainly not least, I like their products--cases of beverages, frozen foods, cleaning supplies, clothing and so much more. There's quite a lot of products you can buy in bulk to keep you stocked up. They are very good about returns. It can take awhile waiting in line, but there's usually no issues. I love how they keep up with technology. The scan n go, the quick lines. For that reason, I much prefer shopping at Sam's than the other warehouse store.

I too was also upset about instant changes of pricing on gas from park to payment but I after complaining to the store manager Adolfo (I hope I spelled that right), learned the staff have zero control over the prices and corporate controls the prices based on the surrounding fuel stations, like Circle K across the street, to stay competitive. I do love their promotion for 20 cents off gas per gallon and I hope they bring it back. I've have experienced some above and beyond measures from some of their staff, like David, who always asks me how I am doing and always gets me to smile, even on my worst days. I've seen Lacey (hope I spelled that right) do sign language for a couple who needed assistance. They have a new hire, forgive me as I don't recall her name, but she was wearing a black veteran hat, and she assisted me with putting air in my tire. I had cash and did not realize the machine was one of those electronic tap to pay things. She paid for the air machine and assisted me with my tire. She also checked my other three tires and filled those up and even showed me how to see it on my car screen for the future. David, Lacey, new veteran girl, you guys rock. Keep it up. Also love the touch of Christmas decorations in the store.
