If I could give the zero stars, I would. You'd expect for a business that has been around for over 30 years. They will be better at detailing the car. I asked him repeatedly for a simple cleaning and they fail to do so. The car was barely vacuumed, and the crevices were not cleaned either. I can see if my car was overly dirty, but I just got this a few months ago. Brand new. I had to ask them repeatedly to clean certain areas over and again, and all they kept saying was " is that good enough? " like what does that even mean if I paid you to clean the car I would not recommend this location to anyone and if you think your experience is going to be different look at all the other reviews. Needed gas and air. Went up to air first to make sure it worked since alot of stations air out of order. Went inside and said can you turn on air. I will get gas right after. Some guy said $2 even if you get gas. I stated its illegal to charge for air and water to customers. He said. No its not, there are equipment costs. I stated its an added service and you make money on other items. He said it doesn't matter how much money he makes. I said I have been coming here for years and you now lost my business. I've been coming here off and on since I attended RCC to get my associates degree. Didn't know they had a yelp page so here I am. Gas is a bit overpriced, but, I only pump chevron and shell in my truck so it is what it is. Now to the car wash here: best bang for your buck in the general area. The owner runs a small 5-6 man crew but they get the job done every time I come when I'm in the area. I used to go to the one off of McKinley next to Walmart.... they are now too mainstream and quantity over quality in my opinion. The guy decided to explain that tip had nothing to do with him, that's between me and the guys washing my car, blah, blah... argument ensues. I went to talk to the "boss" who had already been briefed on the situation. He took the same stance on the situation. I got gas at the Whiskey Pete's Chevron on Sunday morning between 6:00 - 7:30 am and when we were driving home my 2017 Dodge Charger started running really rough and having problems downshifting and shifting when we went up the grades. Yesterday, I had it towed to the dealership because I couldn't even drive it - rough idle, blowing gray smoke out of the exhaust. The dealer contacted me and said the gas was yellow and barely contained any octane. Went to get a car wash at bubble wash and realized they didnt vacuum the car...took it back to have them vacuum and the little old guy told me it wont pick up dog hair...and kept insisting I try...well didnt want to try was just gonna leave when this little Ricky Martin looking guy said if you dont like dog hair maybe you shouldn't own dogs so I flipped him the bird my owning dogs is none of your business I came for a wash and vacuum I guess you cant vacuum dog hair with a 5 dollar vacuum....well I've been ok with but ble wash in the past cars always came out great....but when this little Ricky Martin character came at me I shut my doors flipped him the bird and he stood up like he was butthurt well little guy was there for a few minutes...but I guess you had to comb your hair or check the mirror...I have nothing wrong to say about bubble wash other than you guys did a decent job on my car...but you really need to check your employees about talking crap to the customers I wouldn't have flipped him the bird if he would have kept his mouth shut I was simply going to drive off dissapointed about the vacuum job... This gas station colludes with the 76 across the street to extort patrons of an unjustifiable amount of money for gas, simply because of their prime location. Today for example, 1/29/2015, gas prices for stations within 1 mile of Chevron are as follows: $2.59, $2.37, $2.39. However, this Chevron is at $3.39, while the 76 across the street is at $3.27. Most days I drive by, the two gougers are the exact same price, indicating some sort of collaboration to keep prices high in that location. This is the only explanation considering the average price per gallon of every surrounding station is about $1 cheaper per gallon. These guys jack up the prices because they are the only option for persons about to enter the E/B, W/B 91 from 14th street, so they can take advantage of those who are in a hurry to get to work and need to fill up. read more

So some useless Soul squirt ketchup all over the side of my car some point last night and I came here to just get the outside cleaned because I live at an apartment complex with no access to a hose. I bought the cheapest package which was $12.95 and they insisted on cleaning the inside of my car as well. I was a little embarrassed about this because I wasn't expecting them to work inside my car and it was a nightmare in here. They assured me that it was fine, to just let them take care of it they, handled all my stuff with care and now it feels so nice in my car now. I'm super glad that I came to this place. I'm giving five stars because I was expecting to maybe find one of those auto carwashes and just get the outside done for the same amount of money. But I gotten much more than I paid for. I will be returning The five stars doesn't necessarily reflect the cleaning job it's as good as the most basic cleaning job you can pay for can get. I was more than pleasantly surprised by this establishment! For months I've driven by seeing the $10.99 deal and just kept driving. One day last week, I got stuck at a red light and witnessed the guys being so completely detail oriented to an SUV similar to mine. Today I decided to stop in and have "The Works" done ($21.99 + $5 SUV/Large Truck Charge) and I wished I had more to tip the men! My SUV looks and smells amazing. And with 4 kids, it was a wreck! Wow what a sad excuse of a car wash. I paid for an upgraded wash only to get much of nothing clean inside or outside of my car. I actually had to go somewhere else to get it cleaned. To top it off, the guy cleaned the brake dust from my rims and then proceeded to wipe down my car with the same rag. When I asked as to why my car was not properly cleaned, another employee responded with "he probably thought you weren't going to tip, damn he did a fucked up job". car washes are unusually hard to find in Riverside, unless you wanna make a huge day out of waiting for the millions of cars in front of you, aaanndd the crowded lots and the time it takes to make decisions like, "do I want to add wax, or should I get the deluxe?" it's too much, and it doesn't need to be. welllllll this is the spot kids, it's SUPER chill. here's the breakdown. * GAS STATION LOCATION: first, it's at a gas station, so you can kill two birds with one stone. whose mad about that? second, it's called good quality gas. end of story. * THE CLEANING PART: so the lot is super spacious, and although I came on a weekday, (less crowded) it doesn't feel overwhelming. I paid $20 for the wash in the middle (not the cheapest, not the most expensive) and they went HAM. I mean, this guy spent forever wiping my car down inside and out and windows and all the jazz. my car has awful water spots on the outside & they got them off. magical. * THE SERVICE: I mean, you talk to them for what, 30 seconds? they're all nice, smiley and normal. no extra sass anywhere. it's a good one, I like it. not too much, not too little. thorough, clean, worth it. read more

I went here to get a carwash and have my seats washed. A few weeks ago. At first in comparison to how it was when I brought it in, it looked good. It was windy and a little dusty that day. I got there and my car looked dusty but I knew it was windy so I didn't complain. Fast forward to the next day when it's not dusty anymore my car has all kinds of circular swirl marks on it. Like wtf I paid about 149.00 for this and these people don't know not to wipe the car when it's dusty? I didn't think much of it that day, hello I don't wash cars for a living. Anyway, I've gotten better results when I went there for the 12.99 car wash. I did some research and I polished my car with Meguiar's car wax polish and it looks like new. Two lessons learned: 1. Don't have a car wash on dusty days and 2. Don't go to this place again. Fyi I didn't go back to tell them because I felt stupid for taking it on a windy day and I hate confrontations. Everyone I told about this, mostly siblings, insisted on me giving them a bad review....hopefully it helps someone. read more

I drive by this location everyday but haven't stopped to use it until today. I noticed on Tuesdays they run an 8.99 special and my car came out looking great! It took only about 10 minutes being the only car so from my experience it was extremely fast service but overall, I'm sure they do great on busy days as well. read more

Just came from getting gas and a car wash. 12 gallons of gas for 42 cents more per gallon than here in order to get a $2.00 discount on the wash! It was slow and there was one car almost done and mine just starting, I had time to walk across the street to 76 station for lotto and walk back. My car was just coming out. The guy signaled he was done, before checking, I had tipped him and he disappeared. There was sprayed stuff on panels and not wiped off, the jambs were all still soaking wet. I was so pissed, I left and will never return. I live in Riverside and it's a company vehicle, but this was just lazy work. Then I drove by my usual gas station and the gas was actually 90 cents cheaper. Do not get caught up in the sign that they are giving you a deal. I could have saved $9.00 by going to my usual station and going to a regular car wash. read more

Never again will I get my car "kinda" washed at this place. I recommend to anyone looking for your car to look decent after a wash to look elsewhere. Dirt left all over my car after driving through the rain for the week and after the wash it's still there. The wash consists of a couple guys using a hand brush you find at self service car washes and the results are very similar to that of unprofessional cleaning and disregard for customer satisfaction. read more
