I stop by here often, as it is the closest WaWa to my kids' school, and the place we make a beeline…read morefor when I pick up a sick child from school. It's a pretty busy location, and there's rarely a parking spot flush againgst the building, but plenty of spaces in the back parking lot, and easy to get in through the back door . My kids love the blue rasberry slushees to freeze out a headache, and sometimes I'll let them order from the food menu: mostly chicken tenders and mac n cheese. I've eaten their jalapeno cheese stuffed pretzel: the texture was weird. Today, I tried the gobbler- their limited edition Thanksgiving-themed wrap. I had read about these wraps before. I ordered a warm one that had in it: mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, turkey, and cranberry sauce. It fun! Texturally, the mashed potatoes felt weird eaten in a wrap, but the other items made it worth it. Stuffing and cranberry sauce in a wrap is so smart!

I must confess: I am pretty dependent on caffeine! Especially when I need to drive South. I was so…read morehappy to find this RaceTrac just East of I-95 on Hypoluxo Road. I was so impressed with the coffee station! Racetrac had several machines with 3 different types of coffee beans on top; the beans are ground on the spot for each cup! The touchscreen was easy to use and very helpful. I appreciate how many details it showed when selecting which type of coffee to choose: it showed, caffeine level and a couple of other qualities. Guess I only selected based on caffeine level, because I can't remember the other qualities! I really loved that they offered a selection of 'leave space for creamer,' and then left a generous amount for creamer. This machine was designed for me! The creamer station is dreamy. Multiple full bottles of a multitude of creamer selections in ice. Yes! Full bottles of half and half? And a bottle of whipped cream?! Yes again. I selected a large coffee, which was priced under $2. For self serve, freshly-ground, creamers galore, I found this super reasonable! I also used the restrooms here; they were clean. I stood in a line at first, but then a very nice person waved me to another register and checked me out in no time with a smile. Thank you!
