Crazy gas prices. Exploiting people who are low on gas and need SOMETHING to get to the nearest gas station. I actually thought this was a joke for a second, but apparently this location has done this for some time. I guess you can get away with it when you're so far away from everything. Mind you, it is my fault for not realizing I was this low on gas, but sheesh! The cashier wasn't mean or anything, so something tells me it's out of their control. Maybe it's a low density area and not many customers come for gas, so the only way to get profits is to have exorbitant prices. Who knows. Needless to say, I put like $14 and ended up filling my tank somewhere else. I actually was running low AGAIN another day and just took the risk of running out instead of going here again! First and foremost as of July 20, 2025 regular gas at the station cost $7.89 a gallon, mid-grade cost $7.95 premium cost $7.99. $3+ higher than all the other gas stations in the area, as if the high prices weren't enough you get this lovely Manager/attendant very rude! I'm at the gas pump. He walks over from inside to just stare at me while I'm at the pump and then walks away. So when I'm done with what I'm doing I'll walk over till I said I'm sorry. After work, I went to the gas station, and I swiped my card at the machine. My card had 40$, which was the only money I had left on my card for gas. As I'm pumping gas, it stopped at 4.59. I went inside the store to ask the lady what's going on because you guys charged my card already and the machine stopped at 4.59. This lady had the nerve to tell me, "oh that has nothing to do with us.". I'm already upset right, her response hit my nerve bad, I respectfully responded, "Ma'am you work here right? Clearly, this is a problem. For you to tell me that this has nothing to do with you, is stupid. This is why I'm coming to you because from the 40$ that I was charged, the gas stopped pumping at 4.59. How is that okay?". She sarcastically responded, "Well it happens. So you need to wait 2-3 business days for the rest of the money that wasn't used, to go back to your card.". Mind you, I'm already upset but her responses is what made me so angry. I'm trying to be nice and respectful. I went off. I told her, "You have very poor customer service and the fact that you're sitting here and telling me that there is nothing that you can do, is extremely unprofessional to me. That was the last money I had for has to get home. If that happened to you, wouldn't you be upset?". She responded, "I don't have a car. You can come back tomorrow and speak with the supervisor.". I told her, "I'm not coming back here at all. This is stupid and it's not fair to those who are getting gas with the last money that they have on them, for you not to help in any way. You're very unprofessional about your job and if you don't like your job, maybe you should find a job you actually love. I wasn't mad at you at first, I'm upset about the situation because I didn't get no gas but lost 40$, and now I have to wait to get it back. No matter what the average price is in the area, this station will ALWAYS charge at least an extra dollar per gallon more. The guy who runs this station is pretty sleazy. After a trip to Philippe's with my parents a few years back, my dad stopped by for just enough to make it to the next station. This man comes out of the station's store, walks right up to the nearest squeegee by my dad and yanks it out of the water while giving my dad this challenging look, then bellows, "$10!" ... What? He also uses some of this lot for parking. Want to hit up Olvera Street? Or hoof it to Chinatown? $7.90, please. And amusingly, there's always cars in that sharply angled, tiny lot he's got on the northern end of his station, despite the official parking around the corner being $6 (either way Angelenos will find a way to get free or cheaper street parking). If you're hard up for gas in the Chinatown/Olvera Street/Little Tokyo area and if you can make it to Alameda and 5th Street, there's a Valero. It's not very cheap (we're still talking about a dime or two above average), but it's more reasonable than the Chevron or that USA station in Chinatown. Still, downtown is notorious for terrible gas prices, especially with there only being so many stations. Fill up beforehand and don't end up desperately stopping at these parasite stations that will suck your wallet dry. read more

I love this gas station, why they always have the cheapest prices out of all the gas stations, there's gas in it as a diamond in the rough. Now onto the food. I like to work out in the mornings, so sometimes I stop by the gas station and get some of the best sausage biscuits that people have to offer. Ana in the back really knows how to cook and really knows how to make my taste buds Hailer. The breakfast here is a delightful and all the snacks and treats or fries.
