Today it's a ran down 76 with a rude female cashier. I pulled in before 9am and it wasn't too busy. I was looking for a bite to eat, some gas and to use the lavatory. I noticed the petrol prices weren't cheap, typical of a 76 and Bidenomics but I needed to fill up so damnit, $5.19 for medium grade is what I was paying. I put $50 in. I decided $50 was an even number so I stopped. Having never been there but seeing the pics I expected a huge, stacked store. It was huge, smelled like fried tater skins, wasn't too stacked with anything other than the regs and the bathroom door was locked with a sign next to it that read something like, "...ask cashier for key" So I mosey'd my way back to the girl and politely said, "I just got gas, would it be ok to get the key for restroom?" She stopped moving, looked at me sideways and accusingly asked, "you got gas?" Her eyes almost crossed. "Yea, $50. Look it up," I told her as I motioned with my head to the gas pump that my car was sitting at. I bit my tongue and held back what I wanted to say. "Hmph" she replied then motioned with her pumpkin head towards the key sitting in a bucket on the counter. That's what everyone wants next to their snacks, a sh*t contaminated stick with a dangly key attached. I used the bathroom, it was disgusting. I washed my hands, used the lame excuse for a hand dryer then left the light on as I exited (sign inside asked to turn it off but it was already on and I wasn't touching anything else). After exiting the bathroom, I Looked around the dump and decided I didn't need anything from there to munch on, I'd probably get mud butt. I won't be going back there unless I get a yearning for 80s cafeteria vibes. Well, at least in the 80s there was a cashier lady who smoked cigarettes as she wiped counters and did it with a yellow smile. The good old days

I happened to drive by their on base gas station, the NEX Autoport and noticed, they sold Diesel fuel as well as regular fuels. NARRATIVE: I'm not one to turn down a deal. So when I saw the NEX Autoport sold not only cheaper gas compared to the prices of gas off base. They also sell / sold cheaper diesel fuel as well. The already cheaper price along with an additional $0.5 savings if you use your Military Star Card and the answer becomes very clear. You WILL Save money buying you fuel at the NEX Autoport. SCENE: The NEX Autoport is located in the same shopping area as the NEX and Commissary. All pumps have regular, medium and high grade gas but, only the outside end pumps have the green diesel pumps. RECOMMENDATION(S): You can't go wrong buying your gas here at the NEX Autoport.

Inside is a decent assortment of snacks, drinks, and even automotive accessories. They even include adult beverages in the refrigerators. Nice and convenient. The lines can get a little long with people wanting to pay inside for their fuel for whatever reason. If you ever need diesel, you have to go inside and bug someone to go out and meet you in the back where their large diesel drum is located. They're probably gonna hate you for it, but you can't beat the price. Overall great little location. Mini mart has regular hours, gas station is open 24hr with pay at the pump.
