Wow I can only say I am disappointed at this location and most of Chevron locations as their staff always say the restrooms are closed for customers. Chevron promotes always having clean restrooms for clients and the staff always says sorry restrooms are closed. read more

You can begin by improving your customer service. The African-American female employee, who is slim, does not wear a name tag and wears black gloves, consistently fails to greet customers, does not offer receipts, and instead makes customers take the receipt themselves in a manner that feels uncomfortable and disrespectful. Additionally, she does not allow customers to use the restroom. read more

The gas pump picked the car wash for me. Can you say " Ghost in the machine"? I did not touch the screen. I did not want the Stampede car wash. I wanted the Bad Guy's Best car wash. The car wash and the Chevron store would not allow me to pay and upgrade the car wash nor would they give me my money back. I wasted 15 minutes trying to get it resolved. I will NEVER go here again. I will drive out of my way to get gas elsewhere to avoid this place. Very upset. Drove to Fabulous Freddie's and got my car washed. Save yourself time and money by AVOIDING this place. read more

This location used to have an Oil Change shop a few steps away. We come here for gasoline once in a while. Have used the car wash only a couple of times throughout the years. It is good for what we need most of the time which is filling up the vehicles gas tank. We've never had any issues. It's conveniently located on a corner lot. read more

The main reason I give zero stars is because of the vacuums. They such because they don't suck...at all! Plus there is only one per car, not one on each side. You have to old school thread it through to the passenger side. It also doesn't stay on very long so you have to stop and go push the on button several times. I finally gave up since it wasn't picking up very well-wasn't worth wasting energy. My only complaints with the actual car wash is it's expensive for what you get and I'm the dryers at the end were useless. read more

Buyer beware!! Terrible Herbst is an terrible company to deal with. Manager Kyle Roehr was very rude and dismissive to me, a customer who has patronized his establishment for years. So unethical and shady. I usually get individal car washes but I was selling my daughter's car so I agreed to pay one fee for 30 days. I was told I was paying for a one time fee for 30 days of car washes. Noting was said of a reoccuring charge. I asked many questions to make certain I understood. I have been continually charged since December - 5 months. In all that time I never got another car wash. Of course because I had no idea I was being charged. When I called the corporate office, all I received was a run around. Rebecca did not assist me at all. When I talked with Kyle Roehr the manager of this car wash, he basically called me a liar. "My guys are highly trained and tell everyone it is a reoccuring charge" Be very careful. The company has NO regard for customers. I will not be returning. read more

I hate chevron, they gouge customers with their techron bs. I had to stop here today because i was running low on gas they are charging 4.99 and i normally go to costco they are charging 4.15.i put in 3 gallons to get me through my errands then filled up at costco. FU chevron, how the hell do they stay in business? Why do people go here? Outrageous!!! read more

"Terrible," not really! The staff is a hit and missed but lately they been very friendly however, this gas station is super busy during peak times usually 7-9am and 3-7pm. They only have 8 gas pumps and it's like an exodus of cars playing musical chairs trying to get gas. Recently the gas pumps have been updated but the whole station could use a remodel. The car wash center is busy but the staff are pretty much efficient in getting cars in and out in a timely manner. I do like the fact that the staff pre-wash/scrub your tires prior to entering the car wash facility. Another draw to this place is the self-serve vacuums. They are Free and only available during operating hours of the car wash center. Overall, a decent gas/service/car wash station located on a very busy intersection in the Summerlin & Desert Shores Community just wish they had more gas pumps to accommodate more vehicles. 2018 Yelp Review #21 read more

Last time I was in there to the car wash they stole me blind I had no idea they would take my ball cabs in the very back. I bought a phone charger at the convenience store associated with this car wash and Chevron station. It didn't work so I brought it back the next day with the original package and the receipt. I was told and I quote "You should have brought this back earlier today when the manager was here". As if I should have known the manager's schedule. I asked again. (Because no legitimate business operates that way). I explained that I am from out of state and I won't be back for months. So he told me again this time much LOUDER. "COME BACK WHEN THE MANAGER IS HERE!" I guess they call it TERRIBLE for a reason. read more

AT THE CAR WASH I hardly ever get gas here, but it's my go-to when my auto needs a shower. -Join the Terrible Herbst Car Wash Club and your 10th wash is free plus a free car wash on your birthday. Actually, I don't know if that's the official name of the club, but it may be close; the attendant can give you a form to fill out so they can keep track of how many washes you've had so far. Your receipt will tell you how many to go before your free one. -I usually get the $8 Ultimate Express: "Soft Cloth Wash, Foam Bath, Triple Foam Polish, Clear Coat Protectant, Wheel Brightener, Spot-Free Rinse" -Unlimited free use of the vacuums in the drying areas. Yes, this is the kind of place where you get out, dry the car yourself, and vacuum the car yourself. Don't be so lazy. That being said... -If you pull up to the oil change place and ask nicely, the guys there will put air in your tires for free. I tip them $1.00 for saving me the trouble of getting out of my car and doing it myself, because I am too lazy to do that part. -Voila! A clean car is a happy car. Just hope you didn't make the rain gods angry in the process. read more

*REVIEW FOR TERRIBLE'S LUBE ONLY* Stopped in yesterday, late morning, to get my yearly smog check and they took my car in right away. It costs $23.95 for a smog check but they have a $5 off coupon, on their website, so it came down to $18.95. The staff working was not the most friendly but they had my car in and out within 10 minutes so I cannot complain too much. For the most part, good, quick service. I would definitely recommend Terrible's if you need a smog check for a good price without having to wait too long. read more

Had to get a Smog Check & Oil Change for my car this week and decided to stop by Terrible's. It was Saturday and very busy. I thought I was going to be here for hours. There were 2 cars ahead of me for the Smog Check and 6 cars waiting for an Oil Change. Good thing I had my iPad with me. I hunkered down for a long morning. I was pleasantly surprised when they called my name after 45 minutes! That's right, it took no longer than 45 minutes to get both an Oil Change and Smog Check on a busy Saturday! This place is great. I've been here a few times for an Oil Change, but for some reason have ignored it for a while.....that won't happen again. The price was right too....with the coupons I had, I paid $42 for everything....plus I get a FREE Car Wash too...Score! Will I return? You bet! read more

Oil Change was fine. HOWEVER THEY LIE! the supposed "free car wash" is a LIE (IT'S CLEARLY ADVERTISED ON THEIR OUTSIDE BANNER) $26.95 is for an oil change without a car wash $34.95 is for one with a "free car wash) So basically you are PAYING $8.65 for a $10.00 car wash. The oil change guy even told me it was for a $14.00 car wash but when I got there it was only for the $10.00 wash. I would not go there again on simple fact of their false advertising and them lying about the services I was supposed to get. read more

Great customer service at the car wash. Older gentlemen who is the cashier always has a great attitude and energy. Thats why I come back.

I stood outside the doors for more than 10minutes. Lights are on, tvs are on, everything says they're open 24hrs but that's a load of bs. Have to pull an all nighter, looking to get what I need from the usually reliable gas station they are. Tried calling the number listed to no avail giving benefit of the doubt that they might be short staffed. Nobody answered even though the phone rang for 3+ minutes. Very dissatisfied. read more

It's time again for the dreaded "oil change, " and we sure don't want to go to the dealer where it can take hours and cost upwards of $75.00 and more. Where to go this time you ask yourself? If you're lucky enough you've found Terribles Oil Service at 10896 W. Charleston Blvd (at Town Center) in Summerlin, NV. This place won't be the cheapest, but it will be the fastest, most efficient and friendliest oil service you've ever had. For literally a few bucks more than Jiffy Lube its well worth it. If you have any special requests or questions, the staff is ready to answer all your concerns, especially Kyle Roehr, the Manager. And if you want a car wash, the guys who detail your automobile after the wash are all exceptional in their concern for your satisfaction. If you've ever looked at my reviews, you'll know I'm not an easy person to please, so take my word on this one as I'm not so free with compliments. This place is worth the few minutes drive. read more

Mechanics are worse than politicians, liars and thieves, all of em. DON'T GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS. I called this Terrible's to see what they would charge for a synthetic oil change since I was nearby. They quoted me $34.99, I checked that that included 5qts of oil and a new filter and that it was full synthetic, they said, yes. I was expecting a total around fifty or sixty dollars for the oil change and tire rotation they quoted me. This is cheap for a synthetic oil change, but there was another garage I had a coupon for that had the same pricing so I thought they were just adjusting their prices to be competitive. But lo and behold the total is $105!! I told them I called and asked specifically and they quoted me 34 dollars. He said no, he talked to me on the phone and said 76 dollars. 34 and 76 are VERY different numbers. But he was adamant he had told me the pricing correctly and that I just mis-heard him. I should have gotten the pricing in writing before allowing them to do anything, and there's nothing to do besides pay the bill since they've already done the work. DON'T. COME. HERE. read more

I came here for a quick hot minute for a smog check, since it was that time of the year to renew my car registration. This location was in between my next errand I had to do and having a hot pink postcard from this place of getting $5 off in the mail, I thought it can't be that "terrible" after all. So I gave this place a try. Luckily, I came here at the right time... NOBODY in line for a smog check in 100+ heat weather around 5p.m. Yes!!! The smog check is actually in the back of the Chevron gas station, which is adjacent to the car wash entrance. You'll see Big Lots when you drive in that direction and on the left are a few tents to park your car in or if you're the only one in line, you'll make a sharp u-turn to place your car in the right position (driver's side) to do the smog test. The mechanic/sales associate popped my hood and plugged in the tester under my steering wheel.. I swear it was less than 20 seconds and my car was done. Passed with flying colors and all I had to do was go inside to pay. It's regularly $19.95, but if you bring that hot pink postcard, it's $14.95 :) Nice.. Hassle-free, good service, and I was literally done with everything in less than a minute! Lucky me :D read more

I had received some gift cards for car washes over a year ago. I found them while cleaning and decided to get the car washed. The gentleman at the car wash told me they were expired and I would have to speak to corporate to get it resolved. He was super nice and gave me a free car wash that day which was great customer service. I spoke to Rebecca at their corporate office and she was very understanding. After a brief wait she was able to rectify the issue and reinstate the gift cards. Thank you for your help! read more

It's a standard gas station and convenience store as far as that goes. But go here for a oil change! So we've been going to a TH for changes near our house in Centennial Hills and found out our favorite person moved here and became manager at that! We happened to be in the area, so why not go where we know Kyle works and is cool as hell? It's never too busy, maybe just a car ahead and they get it done quick. They're super nice at that and even offered to change a light in the headlight if we just go grab the bulb at the store. As always, you get a free car wash with services and the BF never uses it despite having the filthiest car ever *rolls eyes* For once he actually used it and bless the guy who goes to scrub your tires tried to get it all clean before we went down the conveyor into the automated wash. Hassle free, quick, friendly and honest as well. read more

Do not go to this car wash !!you will waste at least the minimum $8 wash....their machine does not dry your car... the blowers do not work.. this happened to me twice there at this location ..there are not enough spots to park to vacuum so you have to wait and some of the vacuums have no suction. Better off going to Blondie's on West Charleston they at least give you a towel and air freshener all for $7 read more

I successfully made my objectives: quick service, full gas tank and a clean, shiny exterior. Wednesday afternoon at 4:15 PM, and this is a busy station. The lines of cars along Lake Mead and Rampart are multiplying. Yet, I was able to pull to a gas pump without waiting for one to be available. The car wash was a swift experience too! It's my lucky day. After 9 car washes, the 10th is free! Word to the wise, since this is a fast pace site, watch out for two incidences that may reoccur. First, the gas pump receipt tape was empty. This irks me as it is very inconvenient to unbuckle small children and carefully maneuver across a hustling passage way for moving cars. Isn't there a notification that rings with a message, "Insert receipt tape at pump 3"? Also, beware of unobservant drivers. Drivers eager to enter and exit the facility, or so deep into their cell conversations or viewing text messages, that pedestrians have 0 rights! A sedan almost wiped us three out and the driver was completely oblivious. read more

I came here around 6:30pm this Saturday for a car wash. I paid $14.00 for the works + Air Freshner. The kid scrubbing my truck missed a lot on my truck! He did not get the front of the truck, the windshield, the rear window or the rear tailgate. After the car wash, I had like 10 minutes to vacuum before they turned it off. When I was done I saw the had missed spots and I was going to talk to the girl at the window to get another go through to fix what they missed. No, instead they closed the doors and windows and hid in there. I felt like I was robbed $14.00. read more

I find it weird that I would review a gas station since its only gas, but this station has the Oil & Lube, Car Wash and Smog Services. Thankfully i've never failed a smog check. I usually go in the mornings, since the smog service opens at 7:30a, and it usually only takes five minutes!!! read more

Gas is gas.. But I only feed my car best of the best food and chevron is one of them. However, my car usually needs vacuuming and a car wash around the same time I need to fill up. When I came here, I was already going on empty, so I decided to vacuum, then fill up in hopes to receive a car wash discount from a gas purchase like at other gas stations I go to. Unfortunately they don't have that offer. Womp-womp. It's usually a packaged deal. Free and unlimited vacuuming is a plus. read more

We didn't encounter a line at this car wash on a sunny Saturday early-afternoon. The attendants were quite friendly and everything seemed legit. We did not have to get out of our vehicles for any reason, so I'm confused by some of the other reviews regarding this location; although we didn't choose to have any sort of vacuuming done to our car. We didn't find anything unsatisfactory with our visit, so we'll definitely be back again. read more

Finally decided to go and get my oil change done. The last time I had one (walmart in ga) it took over TWO HOURS, so I wasn't really eager to get it done. Decided to try Terrible's because they couldn't POSSIBLY take as long. Plus, I love the name. My BF and I always joke when pass this place, sign says Terrible, oil and lube, gas, cigarettes..So we joke about getting the Terrible beer and cigarettes. Yeah, probably only funny to me. Anyways, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, and a sweet boy gave me a coupon for $8 off. The oil change came with a free car wash, which my car desperately needed..
