Never had any problems at this store. Whenever we're in the neighborhood to see my dad and his wife we stop here for gas and a car wash. Pay at the pump works flawlessly, then you simply use the code at the bottom of your receipt to get your car washed. Your gas is at a lower price when you choose the car wash option, too. They have drying stations with vacuums once you've gone through the car wash. Inside it is your basic Terrible's convenience store. I do like the chance to win something at the register as they usually have some kind of promotion going on. Overall, a great stop when you're in the area. read more

Buying a carwash at the pump never do receipts print out which makes you go in the store. The woman cashier is rude and makes you wait in a long line for a receipt! You pay more money at the pump to use a card and then they treat you terrible inside. I called corporate office. No one calls back. They don't care. I guess I buy gas and carwash at one of the many other non terrible owned stores. It has not changed in years the cashiers get meaner! Friday April 4th 2025, I got change from a 100 dollar bill and in between a 50 and a 5 dollar bill they snuck in a fake 20. I don't remember what the clerk looked like and I didn't bother going back to the station or bother with police as I already know it would just cost me more time and gas money as the police are too incompetent and lazy to help. September 9 2023 I went to this car wash to just rinse the Dust off my Jaquar Xj I entered car wash the light was green and the wash started pulling me through wash everything was ok until halfway through it started jerking And struggling to get through wash I prayed to get out As I did get out the damage to my Italian red baby was torn up on right front end damaged wheels tires and body Damage to right front end Needless to say I about threw up I immediately went inside to see manager he came out and he was even sick when he saw it he took pictures filed a report to Terribles Herbst . They finally called me 3 days later They told me security would have to look at video and would get back with me I waited a week no contact I contacted my insurance company to see what I needed to do next . They finally told me I could not see video they told me it was my fault and the people that could see video was State Farm or a lawyer and later State Farm tried to get video sent to them no such luck it is no Jan 11 2024 and still fighting it it's about 3 to 5 thousand dollars of damage to my Jaq my car had not 1 scratche on it until that day .I talked to my claims person at State Farm and they said they were told the only way to get video was for me to get a subpoena to get video released.i told them if it's my fault at least let me see video and if it is I will be on my way . It's the principal now flags are raised they are jerking me around it's not over yet my insurance will cover it under collision Terribles is a 500,000.000 .00 company The car wash definitely did the damage and they know it's Just they want the little guy to move and fix it myself. We filled up our brand new 2023 Bronco Sport with a full tank of gas here on 01/05/2024. The next morning my wife's car wouldn't start. We had it towed to Ford and they found water in the fuel tank (see photos). We noticed that same day that all the pumps had cones around them and out of order signs on the pumps. I called the gas station and the attendant confirmed I was not the first to report issues. We came in and filled out an incident report. We were contacted by a "Risk Manager" Elizabeth Lozoya. I sent her the estimates and photos. They are waiting for final invoices and payment receipts before "finalizing" their review. We have no confidence nor reassurance that Terrible's nor Chevron are going to do the right thing and reimburse us for damages. Not one person has accepted responsibility for the contaminated gas and assured us we will be taken care of. Everyone has been hesitant to even acknowledge the gas was contaminated. It doesn't exactly give you the warm and fuzzies. It gives you anxiety. TL/DR: My wife and I are now out nearly $2,000.00 to fix our brand new car and that's not including any additional costs if there are problems found during the tests yet to be performed. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. The entrance of the car wash is very very difficult to enter. The angle is a very sharp left turn. My gf went off the tracks and scratched our brand new car. I tried entering it myself yesterday and had to make a u-turn and back out to enter the tracks perfectly. Anything else you will be off the tracks and cause paint damage. It's ridiculous I am 100% sure it has happened to more than a dozen people. They need to fix this, I pay for the most premium cArwash but the entrance is angled so sharp and any little mishap will cause car damage, I will take pictures of the entrance and report it to the chevron management tomorrow. read more

Being a women that doesn't know much about cars it's always intimidating when you go anywhere for car service. Terrible Herbst has always been my number one go to service station for my car. Their always very friendly and patient with my many questions. Like any other service shop they try to sell everything they can but their in no way pushy about it. I also come here whenever I need air in my tires which their always willing to do for FREE . But its on the way home and it seems to be a safe location its always well lit and it seems to be a local gas stop for the cops from the station down the street. I come here for the " Beer Cavern " they have a huge selection of beer and they always have great deals and they are ice cold! FYI they ALWAYS check IDs at this location. Always come here for gas and my snack needs. Really convenient since it is around the corner from my house. Never had any complaints. Stopped by today to get an oil change (4/7/14), not too busy and got the job done. Price was a little on the high side compared to other oil change stations I've been to. They have a couple of different options ranging from $19.95-$99.95. They also found that one of my blinkers was out and I decided to get it replaced by them. Charged me $10 dollars which isn't too bad. The replacement of the air filter ran me another $20 as well. Overall got the job done I just didn't like the fact that they penny and nickel you for every little thing. And they somehow always seem to find other things wrong with your vehicle. The service was really great and because of that I probably will be back in the future. The guys there were really professional and knew what they were doing. read more

I grew up around the neighborhood and went to this gas station to get gas and receive a car wash here. each time I went here I had good service and the car wash washed my car very neatly and nicely. the gentleman was always very nice and I had no problems with the card payments for the car wash. I went to a lot of car washes before but none of them exceeded my liking to how I like my car washed except for this one. I hope the service keeps up especially with the pandemic. I also had other services here too as well as to have air checked into my tires and each time did a phenomenal job. but again this was about 6 years ago so I have no idea if anything changed but I will definitely come back again for the great service. read more

OK - it's a gas station fer crissakes...but after moving into the neighborhood and waiting 5 years for this gas station to be built, I got pretty excited when it finally opened. Overall, it's a pretty nice place - a plethora of pumps, a convenience store (with a walk in cooler for beer and wine), and a smog/lube shop all in the same place. Bottom line though, It's the only gas station anywhere near my house. I don't even mind paying high prices for gas here, it beats crossing my fingers and sweating the Low Fuel light on my dash all the way to Charleston. read more

Don't waste your time trying to get gas here. Half the time the pump card reader doesn't work. I refuse to go inside and wait in line to pay (seems like a marketing gimmick to get customers inside). People also take up pump space while talking on their phones. The icing on the cake is how overpriced the gas is. Typically 50cents per gallon more than anywhere else. The far west Cheyenne/Novat gas station COMPLAINT. This gas station is the worst. ALWAYS A LINE going into the aisles. Always understaffed. There will be a giant line with one person at the till with 2 other employees just milling around. Its a joke. The gas station readers always seem to be on the blink or wont read cards - did that again at 5 am this morning. I dont know why but the register people always drag ass on each transaction - it takes forever to check out and they seem to have no speed or care. Its pretty much always one till. It it so busy there should never be a line. There needs to be 3 registers. I get so angry at waiting in line I just put my stuff down and walk out normally. What can one say when the parking lot presents many obstacles ranging from gas pumps, power poles, and above all else other patrons. It's a mine field but one has to negotiate if your want all manner of sundries. On a recent visit I had a gentleman back into my vehicle and together we were able to handle the situation in a gentlemanly fashion. I have to blame that one on pilot error and not so much the P-lot. On my most recent visit, I had to dodge those coming and going but will chalk it up to the morning rush. What makes this location particularly appealing is location, location, location....Cheyenne & 215. The other factor which makes the running the gauntlet worth it is the employees. The prices are so so and need I say again one runs the risk of striking or being struck BUT as far my own experiences have shown me, is the employees are with smiles and friendly. read more

Got a coupon for $10 off an oil change and $15 for a smog check. Went in and they took me right away. They honored both coupons and the total was $48 out the door. The gentleman who assisted me was very friendly (blue shirt, glasses - sorry didn't get his name) and provided great service. I was really ecstatic when they first built this gas station down the street from my home. I bought a house down the street in 2008. I was excited because there wasn't another gas station that was anywhere near as close as this one. But apparently the person who bought the franchise or the person who owns a gas station also knows that there's not a gas station anywhere close. Therefore it's not atypical to see a line of 10 to 15 people waiting to purchase something from the person behind the counter with a training badge that's obviously only been on the job for a few days. There is an extremely high turnover rate of employees at this location. I know cashiers are not making the big bucks but but I also know that the economy is not handing out jobs left and right. It's obvious that the management at this location isn't too concerned about their customers satisfaction or their employees' happiness I don't have anything negative to say about the people that are working behind the counter, because it seems that they are doing everything they can. I take notice of their blood shot eyes after theyve been working non-stop a few days in a row. This gas station is hit or miss. If you have a choice of going to this one or another one along your route, I would recommend trying another. For now and as long as I live down the street, I will continue not to have another feasible choice in the matter. read more

So I went to your website to check pricing on a oil change and a tire rotation and wiper blades. and I saw that your oil change is 41.95 + 35.00 for synthetic. wiper blades were 9.99 and I didn't see the price for a tire rotation so I called. I talked to a lady over the phone and she was nice. told her that I would be their in a few minutes then hung up. When I got there the lady greeted me and I proceeded to tell her that I need to get a oil change tire rotation and the wiper blades replaced. she walled out to get the pricing from the lube manager Marcus boles #312. when she came back in she quoted me the pricing and I agreed with every thing except the wiper blades because they quoted me 19.99 each and I said why so much and she said the length of the blades determine cost. during the quote he offered me 10% off on the oil change but when I didn't do the wiper blades he said he wouldn't give me the 10% off the oil change that anybody that bought in the couponed got which I had on my phone. during the oil change and a tire rotation he up sold me a h.l. oil clean for 13.99. It needed to be done but I was thinking in my head that I shouldn't have given them any more business but the oil was already out of the car. Always have what I need inside, never a wait for a pump to fuel up. They have a separate beer "vault" and all beer is chilled and waiting for you. The employees can be caught joking with you, the vendors who stock the goods and even dishing out the rudeness when needed. I love them, hysterical! read more

I brought my small 2 door car in for an oil change which at the dealer would've cost me $35. I know this because my daughter has the same model and that's what it cost her. But it was convenient for me to bring it to Terribles. It cost me $100 for nothing but the oil change!!! No filters nothing else!!! And my windshield wiper fluid was empty when I checked it the next day. Not due to any leaks! They also told me I had to bring it to the dealer to have the maintenance alert light turned off!! Says it all in the name "Terrible". Don't use the car wash here. About a month ago I visited their car wash to only find it out of service. About 3 days later I revisited and it was open so I paid at the self service kiosk at the entrance ($6). I proceeded and placed car in neutral and nothing. The person in front of me appeared to get stuck halfway and was able to drive out but I was stuck at the beginning. After a few minutes I realized this wasn't going to do anything so I attempted to back out which isn't possible due to the angle and the alignment rollers that line up your vehicle and makes it impossible to steer out while backing. During this attempt the rollers sent my vehicle backwards and into a fire hydrant causing damage to my bumper. At this point I was left with no choice but to drive through. Needless to say the manager had me fill out an incident report and that corporate would contact me. 1 month later and nothing. Annoying that they obviously had problems with their equipment but opened it anyway and caused damage to my car. You would think a big company like this would value a customer enough to call and at least offer a refund of $6 for a service that damaged my car and not clean. Very impressed with the customer service. I had a coupon for a $17 smog test so I figured I would take advantage of it since it needed to be done. I was the only one there so my car was done in less than 5 minutes. I asked the cashier if I could use my receipt to get free air since the convenient store allows it when you buy gas. My tire light was on so I wanted to check the pressure and add air to the tires on the stroller. He said they would take care of it for me and to pull my car up. A gentleman came out, checked the pressure in each tire, added air where it was need, and added air to the tires on the stroller. It saved me so much time and effort to do it myself. I really appreciate the extra step they took to make my day a little easier. read more
