Located in the wilderness of the southside of Houston in the bayou next to the Beltway 8, close to where 45 South meets Belt 8, you will find this Mobil station. It's a handy spot, which often has cheaper gas than most gas along this stretch of Beltway, and indeed within a few miles of this locale. So we tend to stop here for gas on a fairly regular basis. The attendants were too incompetent to even check the pump to determine the mishap with the V Power pump. Needless to say, I didn't receive the $.60/gal. difference in cost. They lied that they didn't own the pumps and Shell did. Then they wanted me to believe there is nothing they could do because I paid outside. Moral of this story is check your receipt and is the pump for the gas you don't want doesn't work go to another pump or on this case more replica station. And to add insult to the experience, they insist I come back tomorrow to speak to the manager. Remember they don't own the pumps. Then they give me a bogus phone number. Buyer be aware!!! Just because it looks legit doesn't mean it not a scam.

This station appears to be well maintained and more competitive that stations closer to Hobby. If there are any negatives in regards to fueling here while traveling to the airport it's the entrance which is on the opposite side of the boulevard and a U-turn is required to access it and exiting requires you to transverse a normally busy two lane road. I didn't interact with any of the employees here but it was a pretty busy place during my visit so it seems they have a loyal clientele...
