The freeway entrance from 610 to southbound Southwest Freeway is always jam packed. So I had no choice but go northbound hoping to turn around. But I always see the opposite side also jam packed. I had to make a turn at West Park Drive. And the end result... here I am at Weslayan Exxon. First time here, I actually needed gas. Then, I heard Mozart concerto in the loud speaker. I took a photo to remember the location. Second time here, I actually went to the convenient store for a drink. It was very clean and well stocked. But there was no music inside. I love the variety of coffee here. It got my favorite brand Bustelo from Cuba and Mexican coffee with cinnamon flavor - cafe canela. It's hot out there. But it's cool inside of the store. They got lots of cool drinks. Since I can't have sweet drinks for hot days, I settled with coffee.

On the way to find Kroger Fuel Center, I found this Shell Station. Hell with GPS. I'm here with Shell. It's not bad. All gas pumps filled up with cars. So, I went around the convenience store to find 4 more pumps. There is a TV at the pump. I wasn't looking and suddenly gas tank all filled up. Wow. That was quick. Price was very competitive. Well, I didn't notice the price since I started to drive more often lately. I think my Kroger Rewards program helped a little. I'll try carwash next time.

Then, I drove to pump 6. The keypad and card reader didn't work. I ended up went into the store. The cashier acted like he had some place better to go to. Came out to pump the gas and holy cow, the pump was so slow. I finished reading 6 articles on CNN website and it was still pumping. My tank was only 13 gallons and I prepaid $35. When I pointed it out, he acted like it was just a "mistake," but it was very clear he was hoping I wouldn't notice. This isn't the first time a cashier at a gas station has tried to short me on money during a lottery transaction, and it's extremely disappointing to see it happening here. Customers should not have to double-check their change every single time to make sure the employees aren't pocketing the difference. Honest mistakes happen, but this didn't feel like one. Management needs to be aware of this behavior and address it immediately. It's a matter of basic integrity and customer trust.

It's a nightmare getting in and out of this area which is why it's a nightmare using this gas station during daylight and evening hours. The prices at the convenience store are high but not nearly as high as the gas.

It runs well, and I save myself a few cents per gallon. I know it is not my driving habits because I always drive the same: FAST. I also keep my car in very good shape. I never miss an oil change, change my tires when I need to and get it serviced if anything at all sounds or looks funny. This is one reason why when my gas mileage fluctuates, I know without a doubt that that gas station is mixing their gas or just selling poor quality gas. My average Mileage is 22.5 miles per gallon. I go 300 miles on one tank. However, sometimes my light comes on at 250-275!! That my dear is BS! When this happens I avoid that gas station like the plague. It happens with all brands shell, Exxon, chevron.. whatever. It depends on the owners I guess. That is not the case with this gas station. I actually go out of my way to purchase gas at this location. When I use their gas I get my 300 miles and sometimes even more. My car never chokes on it and it drives great. It is usually a few cents higher than other stations but, I save more in the long run. This is my gas station of choice and hope they keep selling quality gas!
