    It always makes me laugh when we humans drive out of our way to save ten cents a gallon on gas. I…read moremean, even if you have a 50 gallon tank, you're saving less money than you spend on a cup of coffee. Is it really worth it? I guess it is, or we believe that it is, because the Costco gas line is more popular than the cool kids' table in high school. I find myself jumping in line with the rest of 'em, too...if I'm in the area. This location seems to be even more happening than others-probably because it's right in the center of everything, not because the gas is any better than other Costcos. It's a littel tricky to navigate being at the back of the parking lot, not easily accessible from the road. But that doesn't deter folks...they gotta save those dollars!

    NO MIDgrade 87-89 Octane :( Owner's manuals for (Non-Hi…read morePerformance) standard gasoline eng's recommend "Minimum 87 Octane." NOT UT/WYO/CO/ID/MT/NM's higher Altitude (less O2) 85 Octane "Regular. Only way to get @ COSTGO is "split" Buy of 1/2 Regular; 1/2 Premium. (A "pain," & doesN'T "make friends" w/ cars' waiting!). Yes, newer eng's "detune"/lower Compression themselves automatically, so 85 works fine -- BUT: Comes at performance cost of less MPG due to less HP w/ lower Octane. Less HP Less MPG = MORE gasoline/MPH. Even though factory-Recommended MIDgrade "up" here costs more, eng. gets better MPG, so basically a "wash" $$-wise. WHILE getting "advertised Performance" pd for with vehicle. ;) :)
