Pricing for fuel in the area are on par and the norm. You can go inside to pay before pumping. Or you can do like I did and pay at the pump. I came upon this convenience store and with this road being sparsely dotted with gas stations, or any businesses, I had to give this place a go. I have never heard of this company before, but after a quick search this is another regional chain of convenience stores. This one being based in Mississippi. For the most part, it is a well organized and stocked store and a great place to make a pit stop. Stretching your legs is a must here as the road ahead is open and there are not many stops for miles ahead. I made sure to make use of the facilities, clean and usable. I browsed the coolers and shelves to grab a snack/drink. Customer service was amazing, they go out of their way to have a conversation with you here.

This store has a pretty good selection of foodstuffs. It just celebrated its 50th anniversary. It has remodeled and looks pretty nice and inviting now. They have added a deli and cheese section and that helps me by keeping me from making a special trip to the Walmart deli at times. The prices here are pretty competitive with Kroger, but they do carry items here that Shiloh Market and Kroger do not. The produce here is always fresh, with the occasional exception of avocados, but that goes for all the stores where avocado is concerned. You can get Suitor's slug burger mix here and Gardner's has their own breakfast sausage mix that is always good/consistent. The freezer section has a nice selection of vegetables in larger size bags which is convenient for certain uses. I do a majority of my shopping at Kroger but I do pop in here occasionally for items I can't get at Kroger or Shiloh Market. *** lately, eggs are ALWAYS $1.00 or +, less per dozen here than at Kroger.

I have to say that this is one of the most clean and organized grocery stores I have ever been in. Every aisle was spotless and organized. Shelves were clean and signs clearly visible. He thanked me and wished me a good night. This is the perfect "hometown" grocery store that I highly recommend. We will be back very soon.

There are a good variety of fresh meats to choose from and have them cut to your preferences (pre-made beef kebab are available). The produce section is ok, but nothing spectacular and fits into the "pop in to grab an onion or something" mold. The brands they offer are predominantly generic and nothing wrong with that...but it is what it is. It doesn't hurt that a beer and cigarette store is attached (with a separate entrance) and is located next to a wine and liquor store, makes for an even nicer "pop in and grab a couple things" trip. I definitely hold the meat department up as their shining star and main reason to shop here.
